Greetings Poly Prophet. ✔💯. This was AWESOME/PRICELESS. PLEASE PLEASE don't get hurt/injured getting those treasures out. GOD BLESS you and your family always. Be safe, healthy &blessed always family friendly
And why wouldn't you be choosy when you have soooo much to pick from. Your like a kid in a candy shop. Awesome work Poly keep it up. Like your idea of keeping that container in the back of the Ute.
that yellow dyson you cut the cord off of is hands down the best dyson ever made, ive had mine since 97 and only changed one part, still got the same suction as day one
poly said he recycled one recently and it had too much (dog hair) in it and he didn't want to go around a second time@ he cut that cord like he does the rest of the Dyson.you can tell hes's not a Dyson fan period.
What a great day Poly, so much stuff on tap, probably worth a take 2 if your up for it, your new trailer is really performing well, you certainly earned an ale today. Cheers 🍺 Peter J
Good opportunity Poly. Better this stuff is scrapped out than all shredded. I lived in an area that did this hard rubbish season, or the long swap meet. Amazing the stuff that moved up and down 4thhe street as it wasscavenged then rejected again.
I thought you might find the idea of a barrel or in this case a large pot to keep your cords separate. Does help. That large birdcage sells here in the states for up to $400 US nice find if you resale.
Yes I have tried in the past when I was getting started. I kept cutting corners but I’m more experienced now and it makes more sense to do it smarter not harder 🙂
For next time reference the 2 water heaters u chucked off would of been full of copper and brass , 1 with pipes inside and the very last one u chucked off
I'm glad you filled up with appliances. What you loose on white goods as levy, you gain having motors. Shame you couldn't go back for a second round. 👍
Oh my goodness what a haul. You needed 3 trailers. Lol That still wouldn’t have gotten it all. A Buddy plan would work.lol pops needed to jump in there with you. Lol anyway amazing haul. Did fantastic Kiddo. Go home and rest those muscles and bones. Love to all. ❤️
Not sure get a bit lost, but bless that greenstone. Egg never even un rapped the cord. You have a treasure my boy. You will succeed your hardworking. Lots of aroha to you and yours.
Grab some pallets to make shelves in your storage shed. Cut a piece of wood to cover the opening of your trailer hitch. Would be safer to step over and provide more stability when you load an appliance on it. Be safe.
What would be more profitable during this area wide bulk pick up.... go around cutting electrical cords first and picking up obvious gems like Nintendo games and electronics and then go back and pick up the big stuff.... or pick up the bulky washing machines, water heaters that kind of thing and some cords and other stuff? Maybe you need to try and schedule those days off from your other job so you can take your time. I am just curious as I am currently sitting on my butt while I list items to sell online and watch your youtube, lol. ps... I am always impressed how hard you work!
I know from previous years, the local cord cutters are extremely good at their job. The competition is certainly thick down there. Seems I struck at the perfect time and it’s unlikely I’ll have a day like that for the 6 or so weeks left. I’m hopeful though. Thanks for watching Christine 🙂
WOW I wish it would be like this everyday for you. It was so fun to watch but I wish I could be there going through all the stuff. Get some rest. Maybe some of it will still be there tomorrow the garbage men may not get it all in one day.
Okay that washer dryer that you picked up and you took the top off why didn't you fill it up well little stuff now you didn't have to take more trips I'd be filling them up before I took him to the trailer thank you for your video
WOW, Poly, just WOW. What an amazing load of white goods. Mike the Scavenger always says, "Gotta Be Strong," I think you proved you are very, very strong. 🙂🙃😉 Looking forward to the next video. Get some well-deserved rest my friend. Love ya!
Hi Sharon. I’d never heard of fly tipping before but understand it means illegal dumping? Even though we have this bulky waste service, people still dump illegally 😔
might help if you cut those hoses off,and you might consider having a piece of diamond plate cut to fit the front of trailer make it alittle easier to load stuff that will need strapping down 600lbs not bad lot of empty spaces in those machines that small stuff could go into!! onto the next adventure
It was actually 1320lbs(600kg) 🤩 That’s the most so far in my new trailer. I chose to save time and grab what I like scrapping before the competition did 😉
Wow, I've never seen so many washers and dryers in one load. Pretty sad that they penalized you 😢 for all white. I'm pretty sure they don't in the States. But like I said before, I your prices are much higher than ours. Good on you. 🤑
Why don't you cut a couple of say 2"× 8"s cut to the angle of the supports to fit on the front of the trailer, spead them one against the trailer and one where it narrows to the tongue or just fill it all in then screw them down and or paint or stain them silver to match, that way you will have some extra cargo space to carry washers and such! Just a thought! 🙂
I absolutely LOVE your trailer! That was a really nice load. I noticed you left a lot of easily visible wire and other stuff in some of the units though, was there a reason? @1:00:51, @1:02:32 , @1:02:41 a Motor also, and what looked to be a nice chunk of copper tube on the last unit @1:03:39. Just curious.
Yes you’re right I let some of the wire go as scrap. I think I was busy that day and rushed it. The motor was definitely a skip that day as that type of assembly is not the easiest to break down. Thank you Cheryl 🤙🤙
Another awesome video. For noobie scrapper watcher🤦, can you let me know the difference of each metal you scrap as well as the cords. I just know brass and copper you get more💵 than steel. 🤷🤔😀
Yeah I want to know you said white goods what are they deduct money if you bring in washing machines and dryers that are painted white? Just a suggestion the next time you pick up one of those aluminum bikes have a couple bungee cords small ones and bungee it to the outside of your cage then you'll have more room on the back of your truck for all your goodies.
Yeah so if my load is 80% white goods they will pay less for the entire load. Most yards I believe are like that here. White goods is a common term here for appliances though they don’t have to be white lol. To be honest, strapping something to the outside of my trailer is a last resort. Safer to keep it all inside especially when I travel longer distances. But for the right bike, these rules may be bent 😉
You should bring some ropes to tie those bikes to the outside of the trailer. Be much easier to grab, and leave more room in the trailer for other stuff.
Hi mate, that was more cherry picking today than scrap metal collecting as usual in your videos. 😉 Still thumbs up, I hope you don't mind my criticism. 😇Greetings from Berlin from Roadie himself ✌
gentleman leaves a lot of iron behind For picking up washing machines and heavy things I understand that the heavy is what leaves money but the small also do not despise the small because when big and heavy things are not there you have to confirm with small things I have others who collect metals and I admire them Because in each heap they collect everything and you leave a lot behind.
Your best weight yet? So quick to load and unload. No pain in the ass, interlocking bicycles. You gotta love large, white appliances!
Yes exactly! Thanks Brock 👍👍

Great load. Thanks for sharing from Canada
Awesome job I really enjoyed this video .
Awesome day! Good for you Poly. Stay safe and happy hunting 👏👏👏👍✌️
Good morning Poly amazing to see yu do some more scraping hope yu get alot scrap today awesome video
You should put a mini flat bed and cage where you put that machine strapped to the front trailer. You can put microwaves there.
I’d like a flat plate there and hang my spare under it and washers on top 🙂
Awesome 🤩 got all the stuff you enjoy picking
Some nice motors! Big load of appliances. Thanks to your misses for the tip eh! Hope that beer was good! Tc
Hit the spot bro! 🍻

@@marcusmany3155 yea i know picking up any vacuums on the curb is risky, they're usually out there for a reason
What a great day Poly, so much stuff on tap, probably worth a take 2 if your up for it, your new trailer is really performing well, you certainly earned an ale today. Cheers 🍺 Peter J
This was why I recommended some type of board or metal so you could turn the bar into Overflow glad it worked out
I definitely want one 🙂

Bugging cord your cart on your trailer to make it easier to grab and go.
Enjoyed watching 🇺🇸
For next time reference the 2 water heaters u chucked off would of been full of copper and brass ,

Yes the time it takes is the major factor here 🙂
If they have copper tank in them, they are worth $200-300 atm, with current prices

I’m not sure if it’s the same oversees, but most yards here, will pay less if the load is 80% or more white goods.

ask the king @ Queen about your ideal?
Hi Sharon. I’d never heard of fly tipping before but understand it means illegal dumping? Even though we have this bulky waste service, people still dump illegally 😔
I love all the bird sounds...What's your favourite Australian bird?
Probably a Kookaburra or Magpie because of the sounds they make
