I feel like Oliver had a lot more than this to say, but the conversation always refutes to a different direction. I can really relate, I feel people around me like thinking more lightly about things.
I wonder how is it for him
He's just like me, loves to go into a deeper context to give a better explanation and broader perspective on an issue. My friends aren't even deep thinkers which is why I have a hard time holding conversations with them or just people in general, if you understand what I'm trying to say. Which is why I move towards Oli more than the other members of the group.

@@sonic66646 aww :( I always thought I had a problem to connect with others and thought it was my social anxiety but I realise these days that the people I associate myself with aren't on the same level of maturity as me, which is totally fine because we're all different people with different level of thinking. I probably just need to surround myself more with people on my level. I hope you are able to do the same as well or find comfort in those who can understand you the best 😊.
@mingiobsessed I can deeply resonate with you. Because even I am a light thinker as well but it depends on my mood. So yeah it's half and half. But we can't change how people perceive and think and feel, we just have to surround ourselves around the right ones. I'm a talkative person but I also have a slight stutter and at times I feel like when I'm explaining something, people think I'm dumb or illiterate when I talk and then I get frustrated because I'm trying my hardest to explain but no one seems to understand😭. Then I end up having to explain myself countless times just for them to get my point. And then where you said it's frustrating when people don't take what you say seriously, I FEEL. Like there's moments where you can make a joke but not all the time you know? There's a time and place for everything.
@mingiobsessed I think that's why I have no friends, I feel like I'm boring in a way that my personality repels people😭

I have anxiety and sometimes it gets bad that I overthink then end up crying, but my way to calm down is to wear a hair bobble on my wrist or bracelet and play with it when I feel anxious. It actually helps me to calm down, but since having new friends, they've helped me be more confident

damn i'm only work two years as a teacher but i already received several valentines and declarations of love from students of different genders and i can say that if the first two times it was funny and embarrassing then it became hard for me cos you spend a lot of effort not to show some kind of condemnation (i don’t know how they can react and i don’t want to cause someone suicidal behavior) and remind them that this is unacceptable. they search my social media, make me CAKES, and give me stuff. worst of all, older colleagues ALWAYS make fun of me because of it. once they wrote a FANFIC ABOUT ME, MAN. SO PLEASE. do not confess your love to your teachers. they will never consider you as their romantic partner as long as they are your teachers. i only see confused emotionally immature children, when students confess their love to me.

Something that helped me w my anxiety a lot is constantly reminding myself to breathe, relax and let go of my fear by breaking down whatever is making me anxious in the moment. Meditation, yoga and just working out in general has helped a lot too. I used to have really bad debilitating anxiety, but it has lessened over time. Hoping for the same for anyone else struggling w anxiety. ❤ I didn’t wanna make too long of a comment but if anyone has any specific anxieties i can share more tips.
