Hey guys! Welcome back to a brand new video and in today's video I did a bit of experiment. I wanted to see the difference in quality you get for spending $10 vs $100 on a roblox game.. Now the results were pretty interesting to say the least so be sure to watch until the end to find out what happens. Anyways enjoy!

Dev got scammed, the 100 dollar one was using free models for everything

You just got scammed, the 100 dollar one was just a lot of free models put together. When he said he didn't know how to do it he just could not find a model.

The Roman Coliseum was a free model, the sword was a free model, the health bar was a free model, and the spectate gui was a free model

this guy spent 100$ for a gladiator map free model, a spectate gui free model, a shop free model, and a health bar free model, this guy straight up scammed you, that’s pretty low.
Also, on the first map you only spent 10$ and they added custom things that weren’t free models, except for the trees so it was decent.

Can you maybe try and make a main menu scripting tutorial with switching teams and all. Where you can't see your character, can use in First Person ancan't move until you choose a team. Can't find it anywhere on TH-cam

100$ one was all free models- so I guess it was worse than the 10$ one

I feel like the 10 dollar one didn’t put that much effort but still ok. The 100 dollar one was great especially with added features. If you added things like more maps and swords and more features you could make that into a solid game.
The 100 dollar one was just filled with free models. A few years back, I used to only use free models in my games (Which I do not do now), and I remember using that exact colosseum. I'd say the 100$ game would be worth 5$.
@@argonemoth3692 Yeah $100 isn’t really worth it for that imo but the scripting and features are pretty solid. Maybe if they built their own models and added a little more then maybe it’d be worth it. (But who can blame him/her building all that would be really hard)

I would animate swords to collide mid swing and slide off each other and for blocks to only slow the enemy for a half second and you could do survival game like game where spectators could be animals and try to kill tributes and there could be climbing mechanics where you click on a branch to climb and you can train your skills like climbing and running and bow and arrow training could make your aim more precise and you can drink water from rivers with a 1/10 percent chance of getting sick and you could make fires to cook the animals you slayed and there could be many maps and lots of poisonous and normal plants and rain and other disasters. the only problem is that i dont know how to make a game

$100 game is worth the price. The game has multiple maps and making all those 3d models from scratch would make the game cost way more. Their scripting and execution is good. This is not a 3d modeling gig, and the free models they chose were in good aesthetics. They even have dummies in the intermission. The hundred dollar one is appropriate for the price range, and everyone needs to feed their family.

The scripts could've been copied/pasted but (as a beginner developer) I can tell you. Those scripts are NOT hard to make

everyone is talking about the 100$ game being a scam but the 10$ one not only used free assets but also doesnt have anything that requires scripting other than the leaderboard and time and the time is so easy to make you just need to make a variable that adds up by 1 every second ( idk about the leaderboard but 1 script isnt worth 10$ , you see leaderboards in every game with a stat system ever )

The $100 one is pretty fun, I do recognise free models but the game itself looks fun (Yes ik it's all free models and it's a scam but atleast it looks fun) not worth 100 though very bad for 100 dollars

The arena in the 100$ game was a free model
One of two things happened. Either this guy got scammed or the builder finished it and made it a model and made it free to use.

That game you pay 100$ can make anyone and this is reasons: Spectate is from toolbox I find same, Map is arena from toolbox just type "Arena", Round system is from toolbox and health bar is from toolbox -_-
