  • How to correct bad stage lighting for concert photography.
In this video I use Adobe Lightroom CC to correct some unflattering pink lighting.
There are four ways to do this: Camera Calibration, White Balance, HSL sliders and Split Toning.

This is the best, most comprehensive, and somehow the shortest tutorial I’ve seen so far. Thanks for the tips!

this is nuts!! whenever I take photos that are that pink/red/etc, I just assume they are too saturated to even fix. but who knew there was some skin tone in there after all! revolutionary news to me. thanks PJ!!

Woah!! gave this video a Thumbs Up AND added it to My favorites! That is a LOT of useful information that I never really took into account! I don't shoot paid gigs (yet?) but I like going to little shows where I CAN take my DSLR and taking/practicing my concert photography. This video is going to be VERY helpful!

Does the camera calibration, or just calibration in the latest version, work different now? Profile is gone.

To be honest, this part is so easy to me with Capture One 12, Lr or Ps... For other side, retouching faces is so hard!

@PJ Pantelis Is it possible to perform these sort of edits on an entire photo folder? I'm hoping to perform a group adjustment to select photos and then do a little surgery afterwards so I have consistent results.

Guys my daughter is a performer. If I did this to her photos I'd get the sack! We have to think "what does the artist want?" There has been a lot of work put into the lighting script between artist & lighting director. Often the lighting relates to the song. This isn't a studio set photo. We need integrity for the artist & song! Please keep this in mind before editing, especially if you're giving or selling photos!

Hi not sure if you watched the video, but this is about correcting bad lighting :) it's about saving a photo that is otherwise lost.
