Grundig RF 261 U AM-FM-SW Radio

This is a Grundig 261 U model tabletop radio. These are somewhat rare and you can't find much on the internet about them. It is one of the best sounding radios I have, even though the crappy snapshot camera video quality does not reflect the sound quality. It fills the room with that late 1960's early 70's sound. I am getting a better camera soon and will be posting more videos of some of the odd radios-record players I come across. Thanks

I found one set out in front of someone's house with a "free sign on it". Not too bad in shape. Won't test it until I replace the badly frayed cord.

I have one, too. We bought it new in the 60's. It's the original boom box. It shakes the table and puts out a mean bass. It's a bruiser but it comes through with the sound fifty-some years later.

Have ask you how the short wave work on yours my come in with bult in antanna ..I got mine when i came out the army.I also have tube sets
