Things to do in Barcelona (part 2) - Beaches, Casa Batlló, Camp Nou, Montjuic, Tibidabo, La Pedrera

In this playlist, we'll share our adventures through the most amazing cities in Europe and all the fantastic tours we'll be doing as a family. You can expect beautiful images and unique adventures in the region.
This time, we went to discover and explore one of the most charming cities in Europe and the capital of Catalonia, Barcelona! The city has a population of around 4.7 million people, making it the sixth most populous urban area in the European Union. Founded as a city in Ancient Rome during the Middle Ages, Barcelona has a rich cultural heritage and today, it has one of the most important artistic scenes in the region and has become a popular tourist destination.
In this second part of our adventure, we visited many special places. We start by visiting the most famous house in Barcelona, Casa Batlló. The building was designed by Gaudí for Josep Batlló, a wealthy aristocrat, as a luxury home. Mr. Battló lived on the two lower floors with his family, and the upper floors were rented out as apartments. This building is an incredible original work and is well worth the visit. If you decide to look inside, you'll discover just how much attention Gaudí paid to the details of his drawings, with things like the size of the window depending on how high it is from the top of the building. It's the way he could ensure uniform lighting conditions in every room in the house. The audio tour that comes with the ticket gives fascinating information about Gaudí and his influences when designing his home.
The rest of the day, we explore the famous Passeig de Gràcia boulevard, where there are great stores of the main brands of haute couture, sports and amazing cafes. We passed another famous house, La Pedrera, also designed by Gaudí. We took the opportunity to have lunch at El Nacional, a place that has several Catalan cuisine restaurants.
At night we couldn't miss a flamenco dance show that was worth every penny of the money.... what a show... breathtaking! In the following days, we explore the city by bike, passing through the traditional Gothic quarter and its narrow streets, one of the heritages of Barcelona from medieval times.
The last day of the trip was the most intense of all and we managed to take the tour at Barcelona's stadium, Camp Nou, which is really worth it. The tour is super complete and accesses the playing field and internal areas of the stadium. Then we run to the fortress of Montjouic and Mount Tibidado, where we meet the oldest amusement park in the city. The end of the afternoon we spent on the beaches, more precisely in the region of La Barceloneta, where the W hotel is located, another symbol of the city...
Barcelona really has many attractions and this second part is full of surprises, we hope you like it!
