Beautiful deceptively deep lyrics as she contrasts the good and bad. A tear stealthy in the night. A warm embrace from someone safe. All emotions familiar to children yet poignant in this context.
I'm saddened by the fact there was a need to add in the "from someone safe" lyric. It's true and children need to be taught this, but I guess that is what saddens me
@@TrenchTrash01 Angelina is fortunate to have received unquestionable love and support from her family, but she is very aware that others are less fortunate and by the phrase "from someone safe" indicates to us that she is aware of the difference.

What a wonderful reaction to 12 Angelina singing a song she wrote when she was 11. Her perspective as a child on what is life is amazing. You might want to react to her version of "Natural Woman" she did right after Aretha died, as a tribute. It's respectful and beautiful. 🙏❤
Angelina wrote this song age 10 or 11 - first performed it for the album it's Magic at age 11 and performed it live in concert with a full big band at age 12 - here she also performs an acoustic version at age 12.

Thank you for another fine reaction to my favourite singer. It did come as a surprise to me, though, that neither of you commented on the lyrics of the song. For me, that a child can so clearly tell us in simple words what is important to her is remarkable, and then when one listens closely realises that those simple words describe an intellectual and emotional depth which is certainly unusual in one so young.

Good day you two, Angelina was born with a slightly longer neck, larynx and vocal chords, hence the deep singing voice, at todays age 17 vocal coaches estimate her a contralto with a reach between 2,5 to 4 octaves.
YES, as in "Mount Everest" she can sing realy high and then in "How great Thou art" she was at the key of Elvis Presley, acording to different vocal coaches.
Also practicing for 36 hours weekly since age 3 helps to maintain her voice.

I think Angelina is 12 here, and wrote this when she was 10 or 11. Pretty deep song for a 10/11 year old to compose. But not your average 10/11 year old here.
