When I bought the Fahrenheit album back in the day I thought this would be a single. I think it's the best song on that album and I was usually very good at picking out the radio hits. I failed on this one or maybe the record company did! Good tune.

I initially asked the same question too. But actually Dave, in that "fake upright piano", has 2 keyboards: the one below for the piano and the one above for synth / organ parts. At 2:40 Dave is playing the synth in the keyboard above.
