Get 2 dozen of crappie minnows, adjust flow 7-8 feet, I think u can see their depth. I think you can limit out couple of hours. People check the guideline for fish consumption at Clearlake, I think this lake has the most concentration of mercury than the other lakes.
live minnow is like cheating to lure player lol. but i do use them sometimes, when i need fish. yes always check the guideline! i dont eat most of my fish though. sharing them with my friends. clearlake - the mercury mine that causes the problem is in the northeast side of the lake, so i never eat fish from clearlake oaks. other part of the lake is much better.
