You're the reason I'm buying an underwater camera for ice fishing. Hopefully it gets cold enough here in Ottawa so I can get on the ice and test it out when it get's here. I love the videos Brian! Keep it up!
Hey Brian… we have been waiting for this video! This was the day I caught my crappie hope u get out this weekend and ice fish. Great videos 🎣 i love your videos
Enjoy your videos. Always like watching and learning a fish’s behavior . I have the tendency to watch the camera more than paying attention to what I’m doing. It’s hard not to.
Happy New Year!😃👍🎊 This is what I have experienced while ice fishing: 🎣 I have actually caught several northern pike on stationary lures. I would set my jigging rod down and reach for my other line that was going down and my fishing lure would get hit when it wasn't even moving. I noticed many times when you were fishing and you would change your technique soon as a fish showed up, then the northern pike would change directions and leave.
I belive your drag is set a bit loose. If im not mistaken when i see you set the hook, i can hear your drag already going. This would prevent a solid hook set.
Don't feel bad. I went out last week on a lake in southern Minnesota and got lots of bites but didn't land any. The guy next to me caught a few and said they were all small sunnies. It's always good to get out on the ice either way!
I’m pretty new to ice fishing and I’ve always wanted to fish for bass and pike during ice fishing season. But I don’t know where to target, what depth and what kind of terrain to look for. Any goods tips on where to find some from any lakes?
1. Get a larger treble hook on lures, so you can hook them more easily 2. For the first pike it would have been effective if you kept jigging it upwards in one direction, keep him following and locked on it 3. Put the deadstick a little deeper, or shallower 60 feet away for example. Two lures/baits so close to one another can confuse them 4. Also sometimes its good to use a jig and minnow rather than a spoon, a dead minnow on a jig is incredibly effective for pike, and also walleye Maybe this will help 👍
I’m always happy to see an upload! My absolute favorite fishing channel. Great footage.
I’d have to join you saying congrats to the guys catching them😂

Super j'adore la pêche à la verticale !
Me too!
Nice video Bryan! Keep up the good work! I really like your content, the live feed camera makes the videos better.
Thanks Bass Hunter! Appreciate it!
Another great video.
Thanks Clarence and Happy New Year!
Man I love your videos!! Keep doing what you’re doing!!! ❤❤❤
That What a pike day
Right! They were cruising today!
Nice video. Can’t win them all!…….Thank you Bryan!!! 👍🎣
Just dead stick a minnow….but you knew that. Love your vids!
Looks like a bullfighter with a big red cape faking out the bulls, but it's the fish faking you out. Really cool video.
I definitely recommend to remove air bladder from minnow head. It allows the head to be more vertical and lifelike
Merry Christmas and happy new year
Thanks! Same to you!
Happy New Year!😃👍🎊

Leave your jig still I've been telling you that for two years now and nothing's changed. I call you jig happy bryan 😂

Thanks!
Too much movement. You have to be subtle. Sometimes just still. You got too excited happens with a camera
I agree with you
But he’s catching them so no big deal.
I wonder what the fish thinks that make him eat a piece of metal lol
lol right!
How shallow were you?
Yes forgot to mention that. I was in about 5-6ft
@@BryanProkuski oh my goodness I did t think it was that shallow, since me and my buddy were fishing today and were in 20ft of water
How cold was it then?
It was actually pretty decent out, maybe 35F.
