Would you prefer this one or the Zv E1? Lets say you are a 90% video Person. Ist the Sensor and the Lowlight performance enough with the a7iv or would you still go for the zve1 even though there can be overheating f.e. ?

However I noticed that once I transfer it to my MacBook, the quality looks very dull.. The videos looks different on the camera and on my mac Please is there a way to deal with this situation? I've noticed noone has replied to any of you, I don't own the EV1 but as far as I know you're only stuck with a base iso of 125 in s-cinetone... unlike s-log 3 where you have two base iso. I could be wrong but that's what I heard. on the my FX3 however the base iso for s-cinetone is 250 and there's also no higher base iso.

I'm looking to document my hikes, nothing professional for TH-cam just for memory purposes. But I want a proper camera, already got the drone locked in. Any recommendations?
Thank you so much! This was recorded with the Sony A74 ☺️ hmmm maybe the zv1 m2? It’s small light weight, can take photos and videos. Isn’t as expensive as some other bigger cameras and it’s perfect for documenting
Gamma display? Is there a reason why you don't use the built in S709 lut? Also you are saying that you need to color grade slog3. Premiere does it automatically for me during import. It might be because I installed the sony premiere pro plugin on my computer. I'm not sure how it works though if I overexpose in camera to not get grainy shadows. It might mess upp both the s709 preview and and the import auto color grading.

yea it does 4K 10bit 422 at 120fps too

I prefer X-AVC HS which is H.265 and is a better and more advanced codec. The speed stays the same. The exact same. ^^

in 4k you can shoot only 20 minutes before heat and stop
