Messi wasted some of his best years at Barca,.. he should have left before.
I have loved Messi and supported Barcelona since 1989 and I'm disgusted by what has happened to my team since the departure of Pep things haven't been great & I'm ok with Messi leaving we don't deserve him anymore.
If we are to be optimistic, let's say if Messi departs, other Barca stars (and new Barca manager) will think about stepping up to fill the gap and work closely with one another and no longer revolve playing around Messi. They WILL struggle A LOT in the first season worse than Madrid, or struggle some in the second season without the Argentine... but will then slowly pick things back up if the board is patient with the manager.
