When you take out the sniper after crawling under the convoy don't follow MacMillan into the first floor room, instead, use the broken makeshift stairs up to the point where the sniper was at. There's a room full of guns and stinger missiles. You can take out the helicopter and it will trigger a battle with the whole convoy you just crawled under. Eventually that copy of CD4 ended up and my possession and I remember distinctly playing this mission on a warm summer evening with the window open. I think what makes this mission special is it’s the only mission in the game where stealth is required the entire mission. Not only that but the intro cutscene of the game sets the stage by telling you the story of the city so everything before this just builds up to this mission.
The atmostphere, the gameplay, the game script, and love the way they add the little detail like sound effects in. All great. The best mission of all time

man how to win this on veteran? i keep dying thousand times
Getting to mac millan and Carrying mac millan is the most difficult in vet mode.
Very fun, I do this on my PS3 copy all the time. I don't know anyone else that has done it personally so it's my lil thing
and that stray dog part, i kill the dog
Dude, I've been scrolling through the comments to see if anyone else had done this. I'd always take out the helicopter first and then wait to slaughter every soldier as they jumped through the window one by one. 🤣 Fun times.
also there’s intel upstairs right
Matthew Porter yes I know I did the same thing and nobody brought it up so I did because the mission has so many secrets and other routes you can play. Just the surprises from killing the stray dog to blowing up the heli is what made it my favorite mission

I remember watching my cousin play this mission when I was younger.
It's not techincally required. You can guns blaze the entirety of all ghillied up if you're brave enough.

I remember just being astonished that I was able to complete this mission, and finishing the game felt like a blast. Truly one of the best COD games
