Your videos are more relatable than a lot of others, because like me, you have exposed cable everywhere! lol Please don't take that as a dig, your setup just looks like a place where work happens and things constantly change.
These kind of videos of very helpful for someone who is just breaking into the live video production business. I will be definitely reaching out soon for a consultation. I showed this to my wife and told her “I want to be like this someday!”
have you seen the recent Linus Tech tips video of multiple gaming on one PC; adding video cards and usb controllers directly to VMs etc; apart from single point of failure could be more than capable for zoom drones
DAAAAAAAAAAANG!!! Another amazing setup. Welp this is a video I’ll be playing back a hundred times to learn the setup. I’m still confused on be able to talk with guess/panelist on zoom. Are you plugged into the zoom computer that is feeding the audience in which the mix minus happens so the audience does hear you if you need to speak to a participant? And if you ZOOM ISO on a Mac, can you send the individual zoom vids via NDI to a PC? Yikes I got so many questions about this setup!
I would guess thats why he has zoom ISO so that he can capture talent ISOs in better res. The drones might just be breakout rooms but its great to have the drones on standby as redundancy for talent and Q&A l guess.
I have been considering using pro presenter for graphics. This video give me more confidence that it is a good software to buy only challenge is that I need to be able to populate data from a spreadsheet like numbers or excel. I am looking at school sports where teams are many and not all will give you the info on time. I want import the data and save time. I would be interested in how you did the PP setup and and customizing.
Nice setup! Well done! I am curious how you go about AV sync between the different zoom drones? I am assuming you are taking audio from one and video from the other 5? Do you find it drifts randomly?
I probably wasn't paying close enough attention but why do you need the physical laptops? Couldn't you replace those with virtual machines on a server?
Another killer video. Would you ever consider talking about your billing and invoicing? I realize that the transparency might be difficult to share with clients potentially watching these videos, but it might help some folks who are thinking of making the investment understand where the profits are and how long/how many gigs it might take to pay back said investment. Either way, keep up the great work my friend.
I defend the use of hardware, but for 100% digital webinars I switched to software with Vmix. I am able to do the same thing with 3 computers. I now ask myself this question, why still deploy so much equipment? Thx for ur video, i love setup content
Wow! My head is bursting with new setup ideas now. Thank you so much for this inside look! Question: how much RAM do you need to handle the encoding so you don’t get stream lag?
I'm not a streamer so i cant ask your question, anyway, The amount is not the only think that you should care about when buying RAM, still is it's very important. Take a look when they say its CL16 its like 50$ cheaper than a CL18. I would take a CL18 for myself at least, and frequency is also very important. Now there are 3600mhz Ram out there, i have 3200mhz and its still pretty good. RAM Frequency is not what's going to make your computer faster, but the CPU can access the information faster, (more in real time). Since it can read information more frequently, and a process may need that memory to keep running. Imagine if the computer read from ram once every hour 😂😂
Awesome video! There is just one thing for me that would be nice to understand. You are switching between One Box and 6-Box for example. So you have something like a preview for your next Super Source cut. Am I capable to do this with my Atem Mini Extreme Iso together with your pack?
sort of. My actual super source does not change much. I am really switching between M/E 3 and super source 1. M/E 3 which the atem mini does not have is actually just a DVE (which atem mini extreme does have) with a zoom speaker in it and a background behind. so yes you can create a macro with a single DVE in it and switch between your super source and your 1 box DVE with preview and program.
Hi Brandon, do you have clients'need that they want to live stream to Instagram with multicams, graphic overlays without breaking their terms of service?
Awesome setup! Your videos inspired me to start my own Livestreaming business. I do not have the budget to have 6 MacBook's as zoom drones, but I will probably have 1 dedicated Zoom Laptop with a "Gallery view" (4 box) and a "Presenter view" (1 box) that I can switch back and forth using ZoomISO. I will probably get a 3rd Laptop just for presentations with "Confidence out" and "Projector out". Do you think 2 of the Lenovo IdeaPad 1i (Intel Celeron N4020 Processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB Storage), would be sufficient for those tasks? or do I need something more powerful?
Synergy! Works well for Mac and PC configurations but I'd consider Universal Control for All Macs. Wasn't an option at the time of building this setup.
I would like to add that if you have up to three devices, the Logitech MX Keys and Logitech M720 Triathlon mouse might work for you. they can be connected to three computers at once and switch between them instantly. Synergy sometimes (rarely) has bugs, and this is especially critical for computers whose second screens go into the mixer. Logitech switches seamlessly and without bugs, but has its own drawback - it works at 2.4 GHz, which means it can lag on venues where this band is occupied by other services

25 years in IT and Telecom and I will say you are a pretty savvy tech. You are hired! Great video!
Love your setup. amazing. love how u handle 4 computer with one keyboard and one mouse. Very interesting.

Thank you! So much great information.
going to steal the idea around using breakout rooms to control the feed
AWESOME mate. New Subscriber here. Cheers from Western Australia
Can you make a video of your pre-work? Showing how you tied ProPresenter to your show? Name plates tied to corresponding boxes in the Super Source….
Very cool, I’m almost there working towards where you are
You keep teaching us how to level up! Awesome dude!
Looks easy as demonstrated.

Rodecaster Pro has built in Mix Minus but Rodecaster pro ii is even more insane because it is more production orientated
Thank you for showing this setup! Quick question though, is the talent feeds coming from the Zoom ISO or from the zoom drone laptops?
I would guess thats why he has zoom ISO so that he can capture talent ISOs in better res. The drones might just be breakout rooms but its great to have the drones on standby as redundancy for talent and Q&A l guess.
Awesome setup thanks, I am interested to know little more about your Audio setup and mixminus technique used there!!
Cheers

What do you recommend for live coms? This would be for stage managers, and lighting personal so we know when to play our lighting cues.
Great set up. Can you please explain how you do Closed Caption in live? Thanks.

Thanks for the video! How are you driving a 6 box PIP from Constellation when it only has 4 box on supersource?
Most probably a 4box Supersource plus 2 Upstream key / DVE.
Awesome setup!

We think we understand, but could you clarify what exactly a "Zoom drone" is?
@@planningservice8767 Zoom Drone is a Laptop dedicated to showing 1 or 2 of the presenters on Zoom in full screen using the outputs from the Laptop.
@@KLRCAT Thank you!
What is a zoom drone ?
A partner participant for each face ?
Thanks for the video, how are you controlling the zoom from propresenter using the streamdeck ?
How are you providing closed captions?
What did you use to do the 4 computers controlled by a single Keyboard/Mouse setup?
Synergy! Works well for Mac and PC configurations but I'd consider Universal Control for All Macs. Wasn't an option at the time of building this setup.
@@A2ZProductions I love Synergy, I’ve been using them for a few years now.

Nice set up. But, what is meant by Zoom Drone?
I think it's zoom iso...?
How many propresenters are you using for this set up? As well as how many key fill pairs?
This looks like a million dollars setup
what software do you use to link keyboard and mouse between 4 machines?
I wanna work with you!!! How do I do that??? 8 years of AV experience
Are you local to DMV area? Email brian@a2zmusicfactory.com and let’s talk!
What brand and specs of laptop did u use sir?
How did they get 4 different computers on the center bigger TV/monitor
It's either a tv or monitor that can take multiple inputs and quad them or its being fed from the backmagic video distribution device. I think he covers this in a setup video earlier on the channel.
@@TheQuantumFire Yea of course.. I'm wondering what the tv/monitor is called or the exact name of the product being used.
I’m guessing it’s a BMD multiview… that’s what I use to do the same thing.
Or it could be an ATEM mini multiview out
Actually, he’s using a constellation, it could be the second multiview configured as 4 grid
What do you use to control multiple laptops?
