- Hi , this is the demo of the new amazing Two Notes Le Clean Preamp .
Le Clean takes its inspiration from the classic amps of southern California in all shades of brown black and silver .
Channel A has a pure ultra clean texture . Channel B lets you bring in classic sweet overdrive .
The Cold Fusion mode gets right to the heart of Texas while Hot Fusion takes you out of the blue and into the gnarliest Tweed tones .

Although some other demos of these 3 Two Notes pre-amps are going more into depth I am finding yours the most useful because these allow me easily to compare the sound characteristics of these cool amps. Very helpful for making a purchasing decision. Thank you for sharing :-)

is it possible to put an overdrive before ? external overdrive + crunch mode arrive at a full distorsion? is there an loop (send / ret ) for additional pedals ??( chorus - reverb or delay ….)

I am looking for a preamp and I am looking at this and the Le Crunch. The clean on the Le Crunch is fatter than the Le Clean. I play clean a lot but also need some OD too. I play almost exclusively to a PA/board. Seldom have the chance to use my amp. I use a few pedals like reverb, delay, maybe chorus and a few others as the need comes up. Right now I'm using a very inexpensive ($35) preamp that simulates a Fender. I don't know if I should play it safe with the Le Clean or go for a different tone and hope the clean will be good enough for what I usually do. I play mostly Christian music and Fender seems to be everyone's favorite. I am tempted to go plexi but I can't make a choice. I'm seeing a lot more Line 6's on Sundays now but I'm not into it. Those guys can dial up what ever amp they want.
Enfin!! J'attendais tellement que tu sortes tes vidéos avec les preamps haha! J'aimais déjà beaucoup celles avec les fredamps, je voulais t'entendre sur les twonotes, question d'avoir une référence que je "connais". Beau travail merci!

De ce que j'ai entendu, pour un clean "pur" je pense que j'aime mieux la Crystal de fredamp, mais elle m'a l'air moins versatile. LeCrunch serait mon premier choix côté versatilité je crois bien: clean avec lequel on peut facilement travailler, mais assez de gain lorsque nécessaire.
ok , le clean permet pas mal de choses , il a un beau crunch en canal B , le crunch avec une strat c'est bien sympas .
oui ils prennent super bien les od , la bogner red dans le clean c'est terrible

En passant, tu l'auras compris je l'espère, mais tu sonne vraiment bien! Autant le mix que le playing! ;)

I wonder how this would sound if you ran a Bogner Red Ecstacy infront of the Le Clean. Also can you assign the fx loop to only one of the A/B channels? I thought of using my Catalinbread DLS in the fx loop for one of the channels. Has this been done before?

Thanks. I use a pair of Orange Micro Terrors in a Faux amp head box. I run my pedalboard stereo outputs into an ADA Microcab II and then into the the dual Orange amps. I use a parametric eq after my overdrives in a BOSS NS-2 noise surpressor. The clean sound good, I feel having a pedal that has a better clean preamp would be better than what I have with only a single tone control per amp. I think the Le Clean will be what I need.
it's a complex set up , you can do something more light with just a preamp , a torpedo cab et od
Very nice demo. This sounds similar to my Hughes & Kettner Tubeman II, except this has way more features. Although the Tubeman has 3 channels that cover more gain tones. I'd probably buy LeClean or LeCrunch instead if I was looking again so I could get the better cab sims. Plus no decent TH-cam or soundcloud demos of the Tubeman!!! H&K needs to get on that. Two Notes knows how to do marketing.

What do you need the smaller pre-amps for if you already have the Torpedo C.A.B.? Aren't all those same simulator sounds in the C.A.B. unit?
Did you find it to be noisy in the 60hrtz sone? If so, what did you do to clean it up? If not, what kind of power supply did you put on it?
no trouble for me at 60hrtz , i 'd used the supply two notes on it .

Great demo as always man! I'm trying to decide between this and the Section one 70's FAC by FredAmp. Which one would you choose for a clean tone into WOS software?

salut martial! super vidéo encore. Comment tu comparerai un fredamp jt bass et le leclean ? est ce que dans ton expérience le fredamp (bassman, jtm45) est plus rond, chaud et moins claquant que le leclean (fender twin?), pour un autre type de clean ?
je cherche un canal clean mais un peu plus chaud que ce qu'offre un canal typé fender twin.
Merci beaucoup Sun , le clean peut avoir un twin sur le canal A et un tweed plus chaud sur le B sans problème , donc très polyvalent .
+Martial Allart ok merci pour la réponse ! le tweed est plus chaud mais selon les guitares ça peut vite devenir brouillon/ muddy (ex avec une gretsch avec des filtertron un peu difficiles...), par contre jamais essayé sur un bassman / jtm45, est ce que c'est un peu la même chose?
je n'ai jamais joué de vrai jtm 45 , je ne connais que le jtabss de fred , c'est plus chaud , crunchy et moins bright que le twin

Because you actually played them and touched I need your opinion!
1. What is your favorite preamp pedal include this Two Notes' LePreamp??
2. If you have a situation that you have to have like me having only one delay, one overdrive, one preamp pedal. What would you choose?

+Seong Kim Thanks , what style of music do you play , if you want a great clean , le clean is perfect , you can have 2 channels , A twin and B tweed , and with a good od you can have all you want , i 've test it with a tube scream and a bogner red , it 's great .
For the hp simulation i prefer the torpedo cab than the analog simulation inside .

How did you record in stereo out of the Torpedo Cab?
i record in mono , but if i want stereo i have an empress reverb stereo at the end before daw

+Massimo D'Annibali If you know the marshall plexi and jcm 800 , fredamps 's preamp are pretty close , le crunch has more features you can have a plexi / jtm on channel A and a superlead on B , and A+B a boost or you can have a fuzzy tone if you want .
it's difficult , i like both , they are different , but you can not be disappointed in both cases
