The guitarist stares at the guitar like he has just picked it up for the first time ever in his life, proceeds to absolutely melt the fret board and then looks up as if to say "yeah this toy is fun, so what do you call it?".
I recorded a bunch of songs quietly in my room thanks to the lelead and they really don't sound half bad. Truly a lifesaver for the bedroom songwriter who just wants to hear his ideas as a completed demo and has 300 bucks. Love these pedals. They sound so legit.
When he plays the Le Crunch Fusion 3:45 the tone and what he plays sorta reminds me of Coheed and Cambria second stage turbine blade, sounds very good.
Hey Glenn. Been playing guitar for 15 years but never had the urge to start a band and play live until now. Just wondering where do I start to sound half decent?
Even though the le crunch pedal is more geared toward rock and less aggressive styles, I really wanna hear a demo of it pushed by a good overdrive over some technical metal riffs. I love the sound of the hot fusion mode and with a good drive and eq tweaks, I think it could have a very tight, clear metal tone. Livingroom gear demos' video covering le crunch kinda shows this towards the end of his video as he throws on a overdrive over the hot fusion. While the riffs he was playing were more rock oriented, you could definitely hear it's potential. The break up is so smooth and the plexi, percussive attack from channel A combined with the boost just sounded sick. I really want one of these.
I would love to see a review of the Two Notes Torpedo C.A.B. guitar pedal. I have considered purchasing this pedal myself and I would like to see if it is accomplishes where the Mesa Cab Clone fails.
Hey man, love your channel been watching it for a year or so, I was wondering if you could do a comparison video for bass limiter / enhancer / compression pedals? Im having alot of trouble finding a decent one.
Listening through good studio monitors... On the whole, I really liked the Le Clean ... nice warm, bright and full tones...all the presets sounded very good with the exception of the "Fusion channel", which I wasn't all that knocked out by; to my ears, it sounded kinda "tinny"... but it's nowhere near the worst-sounding clean sim I've heard. I'm really digging the cabinet sim. I thought that the Le Crunch was a decent-sounding processor for rock and rock/blues guitar...but it wouldn't be my choice for metal, though.
hey glen, I'm a new sound engineer ready enough to start recording people, my question is how much should I charge per song/demo/ep/album. I'm not the best quality so I'm not too sure how much musicians would be willing to pay. thanks, Sean
The LeCrunch fusion channel guitar riffing reminded me of something between Incubus and Exivious, for some reason. Well, if you "can't stress enough" having a cab impulse for these pedals, is the built-in cab emulation really THAT bad?
SpectreSoundStudios For recording yes, but it might've been interesting to hear a clip or a comparison with the on-board cab-sim on and off, for people who might want to use it as an effect box. Just a thought :P
Not a very pedalboard friendly design with the size and all of the jacks on the sides but I guess it's more of a studio tool. Wall of Sound III is a great plugin though.
Neat pedals! If I wasn't already set for life (fingers crossed) with my sound gear I would definitely consider these! :) Guest musician has some decent chops, too!
I would like to hear more of your fellow guitarist. He seems to be really talented. So how can I find his work? Cannot hear what his second name is. :(
Hi Glenn ! Could you make more videos on the toperdo Wall of Sound ? It seems to be a very powerful tool, but there is so much things to tweak that i'm kind of lost...
Could you do a video where you sidechains that le crunch with bass? Might be really cool sound when you combine that sound with clean DI bass sound le cruch acting as distorded mid and/or high.
Sorry for asking a noob question How does the Le Clean, Crunch, Lead, and bass signal chain work? Is it only a pre-amp so a cabinet is needed, or it serves as a pre-amp and cabinet all in one?
There is a french band called Grorr that doesn't have bassist, they have two guitar players, a drummer, a sampler and a vocalist. I saw them live and they don't even use amps: a bunch of pedals, the Le Bass preamp (in which they plug their 8 strings) and the torpedo live. Do you know any other bands like that? (either without amps or without bass players) and if yes, what are your thoughts on them?
Every time I hear some one say "not made for a metal tone, but more blues and hard rock"? I sit here with my Bad Monkey OD thinking "challenge accepted". Hahaha! Although, my idea of "metal" is more of an early Metallica pushed JCM800 sound, and not the modern oversaturated and super gated trendy palm muting in Morse Code Djentrification. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I've honestly overlooked these pedals for quite some time, but I think the "Le Crunch" may just be what the Dr. ordered for my current apartment audio recording rig. Thanks for the awesome and honest demo Glenn! Cheers from North Carolina!
Hi Glenn, what where the settings/signal chain on the Le Crunch bit ? I can't seem to work out how to get an articulate distorted sound out of mine, it's always fizzy when I try to turn the gain up.
Question completely unrelated to this video, but what are your thoughts on the first the used album? You talk about loving those albums where it's pure and raw emotion in the music and I feel like this album is a great example of that. Watching the documentary on the album they talk about how they would beat the singer with pots and pans while he was screaming to get the type of agony pain screams for the songs and how they would use ridiculous things like a vibrator on the guitar for effects. Just wondered what you thought. Anyway love the videos man! Keep it up!
Still waiting for your input on the Le Lead pedal Glenn!! Those pedals sound good but we're metal heads man :P Ps, is that guitar player in any band right now? I'd gladly check it out, he's got some skills!
I've been looking at getting one of the le preamps. Which one do you or anyone would be better for aggressive death metal/melodeath/blackened death? le crunch or le lead?
I ordered the Le Crunch, and while it's a good thing I would definitely advise for the Le Lead for tighter high gain sounds. And that kid is pretty awesome indeed
was this recorded directly? I mean - does LeCrunch sound like this on its own, or is it through your amp? Cause god fuckin damnit this sounds lovely :D
THE BEST VIDEO WITH THE LE CRUNCH IS BY A GUY NAMED JOHAN SEGEBORN, IF YOU WANT TO HEAR LES PAULS INTO MARSHALL STYLE AMPS HE IS THE GO TO GUY, WHOEVER CHECKS OUT HIS LE CRUNCH VIDEO WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED AND YOUR WELCOME IN ADVANCE
I haven't seen anyone play with the guitar that close to their chin since Ted Nugent in the "Journey to the Center of Your Mind" video (1968 version)...
Can I just remind you of what kind of video/channel this is? This isn't a beauty pageant. Fuck's sake, guys. :s If you judge music/sound based on appearance of musicians then you clearly don't get it.
Mark Lumsley I have no fucking idea how you came to the conclusion that we're judging his playing by his looks. I just said he's ugly as fuck. He's not a bad guitarist though
The guitarist stares at the guitar like he has just picked it up for the first time ever in his life, proceeds to absolutely melt the fret board and then looks up as if to say "yeah this toy is fun, so what do you call it?".
LOL... I was thinking the EXACT same thing... check out his picking hand... barely moving.
Not only that, but he looks like Mick and Keef had a baby
kind of refreshing to see a different style musician on here. fucking fantastic playing, and utterly beautiful guitar.
loved the guitar playing. the whole clean demo was so buttery.
The Le Clean is really beautiful and I think is exactly what I'm after for improving my jazz tone.
This guitar player looks like he is going to listen to mozart after the video
ege tümerkan hahaaa! nothing wrong with that though
Le costly.
I recorded a bunch of songs quietly in my room thanks to the lelead and they really don't sound half bad. Truly a lifesaver for the bedroom songwriter who just wants to hear his ideas as a completed demo and has 300 bucks. Love these pedals. They sound so legit.
Great, now I gotta sign up for the newsletter. The Le Crunch sounded awesome!
Your buddy who play the guitar as a equally beautyfull playing and guitar, congrats to him!!!
The pedals are awesome, I really like the idea of XLR with cabinet simulation. The boy is a great player indeed
that crunch sounds really good!
This guy has a jazzy feel when he plays. I love it.
When he plays the Le Crunch Fusion 3:45 the tone and what he plays sorta reminds me of Coheed and Cambria second stage turbine blade, sounds very good.
man the fusion sounds really good on those pedals
That guitar is beautiful. I liked the clean tones a lot.
I don't know if youve seen the le lead, but I think that's more suitable for metal. It sounds fantastic; I'm pretty blown away by these preamps.
I bought Le Bass because of this channel, now I want the Le Crunch also! :D
That dude can fucking play. I enjoyed listening to that.

The LeCrunch Fusion channel sounds like it would work well with a high gain amp. It already has a good djenty tone to it.
I would love to see a review of the Two Notes Torpedo C.A.B. guitar pedal. I have considered purchasing this pedal myself and I would like to see if it is accomplishes where the Mesa Cab Clone fails.
Damn! I could really need Le Crunch. That's for sure.
Sick pedals and great guitarist
Hey man, love your channel been watching it for a year or so, I was wondering if you could do a comparison video for bass limiter / enhancer / compression pedals? Im having alot of trouble finding a decent one.
Hi, Glenn. What did you think about the latest Korn album The Serenity of Suffering?
Those pedals look pretty dope.
You should try the Le Lead. That pedal is awesome!
Nice demo. Good playing on demo.
I Le Like it ... thanks for the information & Demo
Hey, Glen. You should do a review of the Fractal Ax8. It looks like an amazing piece of gear, it would be cool to hear your opinion about it. Thanks!
Listening through good studio monitors... Its nice to see Chris back again
Also don't sell yourself short glenn
Bad guitarists are ones who don't want to practice or willing to learn

Well, if you "can't stress enough" having a cab impulse for these pedals, is the built-in cab emulation really THAT bad?
+KhronX no, you want options for recording
SpectreSoundStudios For recording yes, but it might've been interesting to hear a clip or a comparison with the on-board cab-sim on and off, for people who might want to use it as an effect box. Just a thought :P
Still waiting for Le Djent to come out :(
Which guitar is he using? That is a killer sound!
Not a very pedalboard friendly design with the size and all of the jacks on the sides but I guess it's more of a studio tool. Wall of Sound III is a great plugin though.
Neat pedals! If I wasn't already set for life (fingers crossed) with my sound gear I would definitely consider these! :)

Could you check out the Le Lead pedal at some point? I'm really interested in it.
I would like to hear more of your fellow guitarist. He seems to be really talented. So how can I find his work? Cannot hear what his second name is. :(
+DeadSea1109 Christian Vegh
SpectreSoundStudios and could you tell me what guitar he's playing?

thanks man. Great playing!
Hi Glenn ! Could you make more videos on the toperdo Wall of Sound ? It seems to be a very powerful tool, but there is so much things to tweak that i'm kind of lost...
Nice, can le crunch can also sound clear or is it always a bit crunchy ?
Woah is that a PRS? not an off-the-shelf model right?! Sounds and looks amazing. I'd love to know more about it.
signed up! also loving the pedals!
Could you do a video where you sidechains that le crunch with bass? Might be really cool sound when you combine that sound with clean DI bass sound le cruch acting as distorded mid and/or high.
Have you ever heard of the subpac? Is it something that you might be willing to review?
Le crunch has a nice blues / rock tone to it.
Didn't you say you were going to do a Le Lead demo too? Also I wonder what the Guitar Tones you could get from the Le Bass...
Sorry for asking a noob question

Thanks for the awesome and honest demo Glenn!

Now that dude can play!
Súper tasty ! Someone's a Chon fan.
First I was hoping to win the interface... Now I'm hoping for the Le Crunch!
Hi Glenn, what where the settings/signal chain on the Le Crunch bit ? I can't seem to work out how to get an articulate distorted sound out of mine, it's always fizzy when I try to turn the gain up.

Wow, that guy can play!
Will you do demo of LeLead?
+Predrag Bajić yes!
I love how you pronounce "Le Clean"
anybody else think of CHON with these tones, scales, and chords during the demo section?
so do i get the le crunch or le bass for my bass:p
who is this musician and where can i listen to his music?
Damn, Kylo Ren sure knows how to shred.
hey rob, What is your signal chain?
THE FIRST KING RETURNS. BOWDOWN NON FIRST PEASANTS.
Very well done. Now go learn your bass lines dipshit
Super_Guitar_Dude ill try my best senpai
Still waiting for your input on the Le Lead pedal Glenn!! Those pedals sound good but we're metal heads man :P
Ps, is that guitar player in any band right now? I'd gladly check it out, he's got some skills!
i never win anything, but i do love the sound of those pedals...
*Man O Man did your gear grow and get far more expensive over the past 7 years.*
I've been looking at getting one of the le preamps. Which one do you or anyone would be better for aggressive death metal/melodeath/blackened death? le crunch or le lead?
damn that young man can play
I ordered the Le Crunch, and while it's a good thing I would definitely advise for the Le Lead for tighter high gain sounds. And that kid is pretty awesome indeed
Why did you erase the fender logo?
was this recorded directly? I mean - does LeCrunch sound like this on its own, or is it through your amp?
Cause god fuckin damnit this sounds lovely :D
What guitar is he playing?
How much slapping is there in metal bass?
Not much, but theres some in technical death metal. Most notably Cryptopsy
Hmmm, the guitarist kinda reminds me of Hillel Slovak and/or King krule
Glenn's eerily ghost in the background.
do want!
THE BEST VIDEO WITH THE LE CRUNCH IS BY A GUY NAMED JOHAN SEGEBORN, IF YOU WANT TO HEAR LES PAULS INTO MARSHALL STYLE AMPS HE IS THE GO TO GUY, WHOEVER CHECKS OUT HIS LE CRUNCH VIDEO WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED AND YOUR WELCOME IN ADVANCE

the Le Crunch has a clean setting which wasn't demonstrated here.
You shoud chceck out Taurus Stompheads. I'm dead serious about that.
GUESSING THE LE LEAD WILL HAVE ITS OWN SEPARATE VIDEO?
cool. rock. on
who in the fuck buttons the top button of their shirt?
i bet his mom had to dab the PB&J off his face before he left the house. he can fuckin play tho.
Can I just remind you of what kind of video/channel this is? This isn't a beauty pageant. Fuck's sake, guys. :s
If you judge music/sound based on appearance of musicians then you clearly don't get it.
Who in the fuck wears a white shirt 2 times too large trying to hide the fatty? Oh right - it's you in your own video.
Mark Lumsley I have no fucking idea how you came to the conclusion that we're judging his playing by his looks. I just said he's ugly as fuck. He's not a bad guitarist though
Do you realize that you are acting almost exactly like how school made anti-cyber bullying videos make bullies out to be? It's kind of funny actually.
Want want want please :)
Le Tucan
Had my girlfriend listen to the LeCrunch part.
She is now my boyfriend.
She said I came early.
Two tone's torpedo series is excellent. But they dropped the ball with these. too expensive for what they are.
Pedals are overpriced Le Crap. Very good guitar playing though.
The distortion was horrid sounding. Liked the clean though.
How does he play that PRS (I think?) without jizzing all over it?
looks like a custom build by a private company or something. Definitely not PRS. Beautiful either way!!
Sean Coit Interesting, the body and headstock shape look very PRS to me, if it isn't one then that is were they took their design inspiration.

Le Clean = Le Suck if you try to run any dirt or fuzz in front of it.
I thought the crunch was kind of noisy tbh
first
I'd love to see a shootout with your bass preamps. Hearing the differences among the SansAmp, Darkglass B7k and Two Notes Le Bass would be excellent.
