Shino could maybe beat the Revival Pain, but he probably wouldn't since he wouldn't underestimate him like he did Konohamaru

To add on this not every character that ends up coupling with other characters have to be romantic with each other, it can just be something that was built over time ever since they were little and both decided to just settle down with each other after a while. I mean let’s be honest it’s probably the most realistic pairing if compared to let’s say Sakura and Sasuke .

Shino is like the "Most Unnoticeable Character" in this Anime Show, so it's kind of difficult to get a card of him with either rarity.
I think the joke is that Shino is the most aesthetically looking ninja in the series that it works against him and makes him so forgettable.
