I tried the trial version today i loved in general the way it could do a vfr flight but i took off from kdca and the traffic was landing departing all different ways. So i ended up having to takeoff because couldnt get cleared. But i loved the way they responded to anything i said other than that one thing. The voices were absolutely stellar. Do they plan on controlling airplanes too?
Great. Sometimes it depends on when you created the flight plan and what weather app you are using. You can always ask ATC to get you clear for whatever runway you want. They will do that. If they don't do it the first time, ask again.
Sounds good! Is it unlimited use for the monthly fee? I tried it again from kcho to kcid on trial. It was able to tell me the weather at my destination mid flight which it didn't really have to then I did a go around and after it said fly the missed I asked for a downwind instead and it did that ok. One question does it talk to the other airplanes or is that all pre recorded? At kdca it seems like it was talking to them on this flight I was not so sure at kcid. It's not a huge deal as it sounds so real and before I had all voices turned off anyway they were very robotic. I will be purchasing those voices are amazing.
@@braneden Yes, you can fly as much as you want; it's unlimited use. So, with Sayintentions, you don't need to purchase additional voices. They vary them around, especially if you flying outside the US. At this point, non of the AI ATC services control other planes, unless someone else with sayintentions is flying in your area. This feature, called flight injection, is planned for later release and it will not be additional charges. The only ATC service that has flight injection is FSHud, but you have to use FSTL for it to work. Have fun.
looking at trying this out tonight. IFR is pretty much all I do so its good to see your flight went well.
