Summers in Hunza Gilgit Baltistan brings lot of Apricots. We can't finish them just eating so we dry them . Many ways to use dry apricot and its seeds for food.
Some famous traditional recipes of Hunza you can make from dry apricots is

Haniey Dowdo ( apricot kernel soup)
In Haniey Dowdo, I added Homan( flax seeds) with Hani ( apricot Seeds which are crushed in stone pit) .
Wheat flour noodles handmade are added with Mint at the end.

Very nice place bro, far away from cities, no pollution, no noise of factory's machines, no crowd, no traffic, no adulteration of food items, everything is organic very closed to nature fresh air. I have heard that people of this Hunza valley especially shepherd travel 10 Km everyday tending their flock of sheeps and are simple, peace loving and have pretty longevity free from diseases, most of them live 100 years and more.
You are so lucky being born there, you are hardworking. Your Ammijaan is so loving and kindhearted.

@@mrvarand736yes, there are places in Karachi which are like a Shit hole just as they have ghettos in New York and Sydney. Karachi is more like Mumbai, India. You'll see shit holes and very posh areas which offer exotic lifestyle. Karachi has a small severage canal that you are talking about. The river you're referring to flows in Mumbai. I have lived in both the cities and I have worked there.

I like appricot as dry fruit and its oil also but unable to get it in Gurugram. I keep seeing ur food making items. God will bless u as u take good care of your mother. Be happy younger brother.
There are lots of varieties in apricot itself like any other fruit, moreover apricot fruit in and around baltistan (pakistan) is of highest quality. luckily we have same quality apricot trees here in kargil (india). I don't know if it is actually allowed and legal to export apricot from kargil to other states for economical purposes. I usually parcel some dry fruits and apricot to a friend in delhi.
