Ryan Martinie might be a better bass player but, MIYU uses those seven strings to reach sounds that no one else has access to. I would love to see what Ryan, MISA, or Eugene (from Jinjer) would do with seven strings. With all this talent in the world, it's a great time to be alive.

The initial part was actually not good at all, but then he sort of gathered some energy and played something decent. But nowhere near any of the bassists Davie504 mentioned, for example, in his video about Japan: th-cam.com/video/q_zrgBobQV4/w-d-xo.html I don't know, maybe Ryan Martinie's style is not right for me? 🤔 Sorry if my reaction looks stupid and ignorant. I'm glad you decided to do these Live in Studio videos for this album. My first comment when GUERNICA came out was "no video?" and you said no at the time. We don't need pro video from you, your raw live is perfectly fine and very much appreciated :)
Amazing!....I've not been so excited about a new instrumental band since the year 2000 when I first heard Mono. That band changed my life. Japanese music scene just keeps on giving. The future is bright!!🤘
Loved this when I first saw it earlier this year, and love it even more now. All three of them in perfect top form. A definite highlight from Guernica + a, one of my favorite albums of the last few years. And I have to say, they all look very cool in this group of videos.
I love the fact that these new songs sound different than what you've previously released, but it still sounds like Asterism. There's obviously a lot of creativity going into the songwriting and a willingness to try new things.
The sound that is heard from your young group is amazing... I think I'm dreaming... It is only heard in a burst of new ideas created by the fusion of past styles and pure techniques. .. a happy and energetic rainbow from jazz and blues to rock and metal... really having such a vast musical memory is expected from veteran and experienced musicians... your music is really new, special and rare. It shines like a diamond in the wasteland of repetitive and boring works
i love that the song starts and ends with with what amounts to deliberately listener-hostile behavior. Brilliant.
