People can say whatever they want to about KISS but they set the standard for putting on a killer rock show. From the costumes to the light show & the pyrotechnics. If your band just got up and played songs just standing there you were considered boring live. Always fun & entertaining at KISS shows.
I’ve seen this band live so many times! Such fun…. And a part of my 6-7000 guitar picks I collect are from this band! Have 100’s! Great reaction…. Go see them live!
So, this is around the point when Paul Stanley's voice was really starting to visibly or I should say audibly suffer. His high register was pretty blown at this point but they just refused to take time off from touring and let him heal up properly. And that was a shitty decision because he's done irreparable damage to his throat that is really evidenced by where he's at now. I mean no disrespect, I grew up on kiss and I think he was one of the best lead vocalists The Rock genre has ever produced. He even did a stint as the Phantom in a Canadian run of the Phantom of the Opera musical. Not easy by any stretch but that was way back when his voice was a lot stronger. I wish they would have stopped years ago, and just let it be legendary but they've kind of running into the ground at this point. That being said, I saw them maybe 3 years ago? And as always they deliver an arena Rock show that is the best of its kind. They know exactly how to deliver and I would imagine that this farewell tour.. if it is in fact going to be farewell they've played this card before mind you.. we'll go down as one of their most visually stunning if for no other reason than they need to kind of distract from what the singing sounds like when they aren't using vocal tracks to hide it.
@@zman2205 might have been after one of his surgeries. I think he had at least two, but his problems came back. Same thing and surgery Steven Tyler had, but he was lucky, his cords healed
Kiss concerts are always a party ! This is awesome 👏

That's the saddest part, that they were continue touring.
check out Kiss war machine from the rock the nation tour you will not be dissapointed
You should go to KISS CONCERT! LAST CHANCE BECAUSE THEY ARE ON "END OF THE ROAD TOUR". MINDBLOWING EXPERIENCE!
Their first "farewell tour" was in the mid-90's. Just sayin'.
@@vbxtc625 2000-01, but indeed😀
@@vbxtc625 IT was 2000-01. So couple years later, but it was indeed
Yeah you can really tell the state of Pauls Voice in this one
Sounds like the pitch was lowered. I have the rock the nation movie he didn’t sing that low. I can understand for copyright reasons
Yeah this definitely when Paul's voice started to go. Actually kinda rough hearing it like this. The audio version is worth checking out.
Kind of weird though that his voice randomly came back around 2010 for a year or so. Always found that odd

@@zman2205 yep in Sonic Boom tour his voice was very good compare to other years but then came bad. Today is no so bad as between the 2012 and 2020.
Kiss ist nicht lustig sondern eine der besten Bands die es je gegen hat und wird 😉so ist es 😎🤘👍
Lol
