Break a leg, Chris, your unrehearsed character idea is awesome! I looked back at what crowdfunded games I backed that fulfilled, and only about 50% remain in my collection. Some of that is due to me learning what types of games I like and get to the table, but many were clearly just bad decisions. Since there's no real deal to be had in crowdfunding anymore, I encourage others to buy retail or used during this period of discovering what you love in this hobby. Your wallet will thank you!
After a few kickstarters that were way cheaper at retail, I'm waiting for retail way more often nowadays... And by then I'll know if I'm still actually interested. Honestly I'm really, really tired of the waiting for 2+ years thing that crowdfunding requires a lot of the time.
So excited to hear more about your performance of the Scottish play. I agree that most of the games in this countdown were meh-to-bad. I am side-eying the 3D printable board game shelves. Maybe I am missing something, but printing your own plastic board game shelves seems astonishingly wasteful and expensive. I just don't get it. And I think it's a bad idea. Cat zombies are also a bad idea. (would totally play that game)
I also find that the $1 pre pledge, I click on a link through facebook, and then its like put in your email to find more, and then after that its $1 for the extra info and a pre something, and Im pretty sure everyone has still sent me all the marketing and I wouldn't have missed out on anything from not pre pledging, But I do feel like its a weird grab pre order the pre order, I wouldn't do it
Two days have passed... the mob is starting to gather with torches and pitchforks. 🔥 Also, we're waiting for five reasons about Cyberpunk 2077 TBGame. Please do a good one, this game is based only on hype.🤨
The first game sounded interesting. I don’t have many programming games. The only one I have is Tiny Epic Mechs and while it was like, the first game to get me into complex board games, it’s really not that great. Do you have any programming game recommendations?
I'm not a huge programming game fan to be honest. Robo Rally is the main one that I've played, and I find it goes on a bit long. Lords of Vaala I like the programming aspect of it, but I dislike the merge mechanic because it feels forced upon players. Black rose wars has an element of programming, but it's quite expensive (I haven't played that one but some people like it, just a giant shoot em up spell brawl).
@@RoomandBoardReviews I’ll look into them, then! I can agree that programming is kind of niche. I wouldn’t call it my favorite mechanic either, but it’s unique and therefore refreshing. Of course, IV Studios is making a farming sim game so I might be saving up for that instead. 😅
I've played Unscrewed quite a bit as the designer is fairly local. It's absolutely a ton of fun, I highly recommend it. Sure it's random and chaotic, but that's what makes it fun - especially since it's short. Definitely look into it.
"I know quite a lot of people who spend money willy-nilly; in fact they all watch this channel."
Way to call me out, Chris. 🤣

Please promise that when you are laundering your Macbeth costume on September 2nd, that you give it the ol', "Out damned spot, out I say!"
You should totally wear the shirt from the play to do the countdown!
Looking forward to the cast recap of games they enjoyed. :) Best wishes for a great show - congrats on the lead role!
"Argley Bargley!" -Filthy John
Made me think about bloodstones, for that price (as a new backer is about 200 usd), I’m better just getting small world, thanks man
Love you, 'preciate you, you're wonderful, have fun!
The weeb slipped out there with your delight in seeing the word quirk

Break a leg. I like your concept and wish I could see the performance.
O! the heartbreak upon learning I am not the Filthy Jon you pine for.
Go Macbeth, you can do it!

Where's the crowd funding count down?
[ Just getting in early. ]
I'm still waiting for Chai: Tea for 2.
I gave up on waiting for that one. Now I'm waiting for the refund that will also never come.

Hahahaha I'm 43 and I still have to say Naughty Elephants Squirt Water every time to know my East and West
Dungeon twister is a great game.
I do think minis will just play worse than the standees of first edition.
Where is next week’s Crowdfunding Countdown? It’s Monday!
2:18 - My teacher taught me to think of the word “WE”, how it’s a word while “EW” is just disgusting.
@@shocknawe that's a good one!!
What if we've watched all 400?! 🥺
@@RopeBunny. Haha apparently it's 500!

Mechs vs minions!
Wish I could go see the play. Is your company planning on recording it and selling videos?
@@applecorc unfortunately not this time, I don't think
TH-cam just won’t be the same this next week. Probably worse, but maybe better?
@@asavi3 maybe better!
Pig’s blood???!!!???!! Carrie???????!!!
Maybe we can forgive you a one-day delay, maybe... 🤨
You should be nicer to slippery jim 😢
