The line in the trailer is his agent telling him to do another Matrix movie. In this reality Neo is a rich, famous and loved actor who did the Matrix movies just like Cypher wanted to be. Him meeting Trinity and she asking if she knows him, he is going to answer that he is an actor. They cut the trailer just to keep you wondering and talking about it, but the answer is pretty simple. People tend to overthink things and create wild explanations.
I have a theory! So I believe Councilor Hamann or the Old Man who runs Zion is the previous incarnation of the “One”. If you think about it, the year is ~2199. Even from 2021 that’s 180 years / 5 matrix incarnations. Meaning that Zion restarts every ~40 years. I think Councilor Hamann took the architect’s offer, chose his 35 survivors, and restarted Zion. I also agree that the Councilor’s RSI is that of the Spoon boy in the original. The spoon boy knew exactly what Neo needed to hear, and helped him achieve “self actualization.”This would give his scene in reloaded a whole new meaning.

I feel like I'm the only one who gets the bird scene. In matrix two or three, after coming out of the white hallway, the oracle points to the crows and says they are programs. Programs doing what programs are programmed to do. With M4 being so much about remembering, I feel like when he's looking at the birds in the sky he remembering that they are programs doing what they are programed to do.
i think their mumuration patterns remind him of deus ex machina or perhaps the sentinels to be honest but that's just me. If it was a similar shot to the first time the oracle mentioned them, i would agree with you but i think it's diffferent in this case.

The first version of the matrix V1.0, the machines made into an MMO. But with so many humans there just wasn't enough memory. The machine's would develop a personality algorithm that would separate most of the human race into different simulations that would be more suited to the users. This would evolve further into the matrix we know as V2.5 or V3 framing. Individual simulations suited wholly for that one user.
The fact that Bugz has blue hair makes me think she's being used by the machines to further try to keep Neo in the matrix by acting like a red pill to lead him in circles.
Plus remember that scene in which Morpheus tells Neo he can only show him the door, but Neo's the one that has to walk through it. And what does the blue hair red pill do ? ... Also did you notice the rabbit tattoo has itself a tattoo of a star which suggest some sort of mise en abyme, like a movie in a movie.

NO. There are at least two humans, Neo and Trinity. Proofs: 1) in the trailer teaser we saw two bodies in a "pool" fighting Sentinels. 2) also in trailer teaser we saw Neo and Trinity in pods to be separated and Neo was awaken. 3) Trinity has powers in the simulation.
It's hard not to notice the connections that are between The Matrix and Constantine . To get to Hell(The Real world) He has to look inside a black cat ( deja Vu cat ) eyes, with his feet into a container of water (the pod) . 1 month before The Matrix was released in June 1999 there was a movie that explored some of these concepts (living in a simulation etc) called "The 13th floor" released on may 1999 while The matrix was released on June 1999. The y theory is that after neo went to Zion for reconnected rebooting. After he woke up, he notices some time has and no more than 20 years had past. The architect explained that we are getting efficient at each iteration. Therefore with him being the inevitable anomaly, he is slowly regaining his abilities and the understanding he gain in the first 3 movies (matrix trilogy). Neo is now determining his role while being trained to master the matrix.

The part about old code is real interesting. The machines could have upgraded their technology after 3 due to the unexpected outcome while keeping Neo in a simulation based on older technology (for whatever reason). The Neo in the reflection could be an older version of himself

This could make sense actually, I'm not convinced that there is a "real" world at all. The cycle of the One is supposed to end with the destruction of Zion and the release of two dozen people from The Matrix to rebuild Zion. If the two dozen people who are released from The Matrix, are in the same physical condition that Neo was when he was released, they'd die quickly, they have no muscles to move. I guess the Machines could take care of them, grow their muscles and then release them, but the Machines would still have to supply them with food and water for a long period of time while they search for a safe place to rebuild Zion and get the place running to support them. They would have to re-learn new and old knowledge/technology etc. without much guidance or other vice they'd get suspicious about their situation where they are handed everything they need, no sense of struggle for survival.

What if the Deeper Truth is that:....the entire Matrix series and all Canon literature....is the Matrix's way of telling the public exactly how the Matrix works, in order to identify those who may have doubts, and thus be "potentials "
The idea of a separate simulation designed for one or a handful of individuals isn't unprecedented in the Matrix universe. We've already seen similar concepts such as The Construct and Mobil Ave. The second of which now leads me to another potential mind-blowing theory... If the machines DID keep their end of the bargain then anyone in "The Matrix" who wanted out would be allowed to leave without any trouble; a snippet from the trailer of the fields with half the pods empty implies this part of the bargain was upheld. But if Neo isn't allowed to leave, wouldn't that be rather hypocritical of the machines? Not necessarily. There are a few possibilities. Option one is that while the Architect kept his word...he's using a technicality. Anyone in the MATRIX is allowed to leave. If Neo is in a separate simulation (probably as an extra precaution to keep the anomaly out of the way until needed), the Architect could just pull a "that part of the deal was never specified, so technically it doesn't count." OR, even MORE interesting...what if even the Architect doesn't know where Neo is anymore...because sometime between Revolutions and Resurrections...the Merovingian took him again, placing Neo in a much larger more complex version of Mobil Ave for his own purposes, perhaps as a bargaining chip or to attempt to study his abilities in the hopes of creating new programs at his command with the Anomaly's power, or even trying to give HIMSELF the power of the anomaly. Perhaps Jonathan Gruff's character is an exiled agent working with the Merovingian as a "double-agent."

The idea that Neo is the only human in the matrix reminded me of the Truman show. Where Truman is the only one who is not aware that his world is not real.
There is a another simulation outside the matrix, it's the source or machine mainframe, where the programs live and where Sati came from; that's probably where Neo is now. If he is plugged into the source, the machines would have had to make a new pod for him because the human power plant isn't directly connected to the source, and that would explain the giant pod we see Neo in during the trailer
Going with the NPC part of the theory, it could easily be other people or programs wearing skins of familiar characters. The green eyes also make me think that instead of just being vessels for agents, like you said, they can hack into the NPCs as some sort of remotely operated drone. IMO Mnemosyne seems more like the name they'd give a character, not a ship.

Something strange about that plaque lana showed. It said Mark 3 No. 19. Made in the EU 2074. In the Matrix, the Neb was Mark 3 No. 11. Made in the USAL or USAI 2069. That would make the ships made within a certain technological range due to the era. There's only 5 years difference in commission date. I'm assuming the ships we are seeing in Mat 4 will be the ship design type the Mnemosyne is, that raises questions. Henwick is heard to say. It looks like old code. There's 5 year difference in ship commission dates. Mat 4's ships look like a Machine Hybrid but made in the EU. More and more questions.
My two cents. The machines begrudgingly accepted the truce in the first place. What if the machines trapped NEO and or Trinity in a pocket simulation to see if they can once and for all figure out how to get everyone to accept the Matrix. If they can get an "anomaly" to accept the Matrix, they can get anyone to accept it.
Reality exists and we are not alone. My first sign is nature including mine, realizing I know almost nothing about it, know nothing about other people’s knowledge or past, the knowledge of cience and medicine, and those procedures saved my live in the past. I realize reality when I discover things that I’ve never imagined, the structure and control the Universe has to keep functioning. I experienced feelings that go beyond imagination; pleasure and terrible pain without the accessibility of general anesthesia. I know its real when I learn something new everyday, when I’m conscious enough to not let myself drag by auto pilot. There’s a distinction between flavors and emotions when compared to the ones I have in dreams, reality is way more intensified and you don’t wake up when is either very good or very bad. I perceive reality in the suffering of others specially when losing love ones, tragic events, and I also perceive that reality when happiness reach its peak. Just because I can see the numbers, doesn’t mean isn’t real. lol
Matrix Multiverse. The first Matrix was Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure universe, to show Neo has a destiny. The NIghmare Matrix was I suppose The Watcher universe, to give Neo a dark side. The Speed universe improved Neo's fighting and detective abilities. The Point Break universe taught Neo the power and importance of love. You will have to do a video about how in between the last Matrix movie and this one, Neo was actually trained further in another Matrix version, the John Wick universe, which taught him, I don't know, the importance of treating pets like family? :-)

And was resurrected. Remember that they were grown in pods, not born from natural conception. Their DNA sequences have Ben stored and copied. All pod people can have an infinite number of copies laying in those pods so we won’t really know how many viable bodies are used or if it’s just about putting memories into their consciousnesses. There is also the yellow tinted code and the yellow glow at the bottom. I remember that in the first Matrix movie scenes in the Matrix had a green tint while scenes in the construct were given a yellow tint. Might back up the idea that this is Neo's own world.

Both Neo & Trinity were hooked back into the Matrix. Both were saved by the machines. Trinity helps Neo remember his abilities, as well as having power's herself. This iteration is 60 years later!

The y theory is that after neo went to Zion for reconnected rebooting. After he woke up, he notices some time has and no more than 20 years had past. The architect explained that we are getting efficient at each iteration. Therefore with him being the inevitable anomaly, he is slowly regaining his abilities and the understanding he gain in the first 3 movies (matrix trilogy). Neo is now determining his role while being trained to master the matrix.
Maybe the neo we see in simulation is also a program, and the real neo(and trinity) is still in recovery by the machines.
Why would the machines create a matrix where everyone including Neo is a Programm?

The part about old code is real interesting. The machines could have upgraded their technology after 3 due to the unexpected outcome while keeping Neo in a simulation based on older technology (for whatever reason). The Neo in the reflection could be an older version of himself

This could make sense actually, I'm not convinced that there is a "real" world at all. The cycle of the One is supposed to end with the destruction of Zion and the release of two dozen people from The Matrix to rebuild Zion. If the two dozen people who are released from The Matrix, are in the same physical condition that Neo was when he was released, they'd die quickly, they have no muscles to move. I guess the Machines could take care of them, grow their muscles and then release them, but the Machines would still have to supply them with food and water for a long period of time while they search for a safe place to rebuild Zion and get the place running to support them. They would have to re-learn new and old knowledge/technology etc. without much guidance or other vice they'd get suspicious about their situation where they are handed everything they need, no sense of struggle for survival.

The idea of a separate simulation designed for one or a handful of individuals isn't unprecedented in the Matrix universe. We've already seen similar concepts such as The Construct and Mobil Ave.
The second of which now leads me to another potential mind-blowing theory... If the machines DID keep their end of the bargain then anyone in "The Matrix" who wanted out would be allowed to leave without any trouble; a snippet from the trailer of the fields with half the pods empty implies this part of the bargain was upheld. But if Neo isn't allowed to leave, wouldn't that be rather hypocritical of the machines? Not necessarily. There are a few possibilities.
Option one is that while the Architect kept his word...he's using a technicality. Anyone in the MATRIX is allowed to leave. If Neo is in a separate simulation (probably as an extra precaution to keep the anomaly out of the way until needed), the Architect could just pull a "that part of the deal was never specified, so technically it doesn't count."
OR, even MORE interesting...what if even the Architect doesn't know where Neo is anymore...because sometime between Revolutions and Resurrections...the Merovingian took him again, placing Neo in a much larger more complex version of Mobil Ave for his own purposes, perhaps as a bargaining chip or to attempt to study his abilities in the hopes of creating new programs at his command with the Anomaly's power, or even trying to give HIMSELF the power of the anomaly. Perhaps Jonathan Gruff's character is an exiled agent working with the Merovingian as a "double-agent."
Whichever theories turn out to be right, I’m still already digging it because of Henwick, and the new powers shown as they seem ultra intense! And something about hot women with dyed hair that’s an abnormal color is a total attraction. So yeah, I’m in!
The idea that Neo is the only human in the matrix reminded me of the Truman show. Where Truman is the only one who is not aware that his world is not real.
There is a another simulation outside the matrix, it's the source or machine mainframe, where the programs live and where Sati came from; that's probably where Neo is now. If he is plugged into the source, the machines would have had to make a new pod for him because the human power plant isn't directly connected to the source, and that would explain the giant pod we see Neo in during the trailer
If I had to guess I'd say you're a program from the machine world.

The green eyes also make me think that instead of just being vessels for agents, like you said, they can hack into the NPCs as some sort of remotely operated drone.

I believe Neo, was rescued by other anomalies “the one’s” from other past Matrix.
Something strange about that plaque lana showed. It said Mark 3 No. 19. Made in the EU 2074. In the Matrix, the Neb was Mark 3 No. 11. Made in the USAL or USAI 2069. That would make the ships made within a certain technological range due to the era. There's only 5 years difference in commission date. I'm assuming the ships we are seeing in Mat 4 will be the ship design type the Mnemosyne is, that raises questions. Henwick is heard to say. It looks like old code. There's 5 year difference in ship commission dates. Mat 4's ships look like a Machine Hybrid but made in the EU. More and more questions.
My two cents. The machines begrudgingly accepted the truce in the first place. What if the machines trapped NEO and or Trinity in a pocket simulation to see if they can once and for all figure out how to get everyone to accept the Matrix. If they can get an "anomaly" to accept the Matrix, they can get anyone to accept it.
Reality exists and we are not alone. My first sign is nature including mine, realizing I know almost nothing about it, know nothing about other people’s knowledge or past, the knowledge of cience and medicine, and those procedures saved my live in the past. I realize reality when I discover things that I’ve never imagined, the structure and control the Universe has to keep functioning. I experienced feelings that go beyond imagination; pleasure and terrible pain without the accessibility of general anesthesia. I know its real when I learn something new everyday, when I’m conscious enough to not let myself drag by auto pilot. There’s a distinction between flavors and emotions when compared to the ones I have in dreams, reality is way more intensified and you don’t wake up when is either very good or very bad. I perceive reality in the suffering of others specially when losing love ones, tragic events, and I also perceive that reality when happiness reach its peak.
Just because I can see the numbers, doesn’t mean isn’t real. lol
Matrix Multiverse. The first Matrix was Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure universe, to show Neo has a destiny. The NIghmare Matrix was I suppose The Watcher universe, to give Neo a dark side. The Speed universe improved Neo's fighting and detective abilities. The Point Break universe taught Neo the power and importance of love. You will have to do a video about how in between the last Matrix movie and this one, Neo was actually trained further in another Matrix version, the John Wick universe, which taught him, I don't know, the importance of treating pets like family? :-)

Everyone is talking about a simulation within a simulation or a layered Inception like Matrix. Given Lana Wachowski's implied motivations for making the movie, perhaps Matrix 4 is a post mortem narrative like What Dreams May Come or Lost, afterall Neo and Trinity apparently did die.
And was resurrected. Remember that they were grown in pods, not born from natural conception. Their DNA sequences have Ben stored and copied. All pod people can have an infinite number of copies laying in those pods so we won’t really know how many viable bodies are used or if it’s just about putting memories into their consciousnesses. But if you’re right that would be a final and memorable goodbye to 20 years of wondering on the ‘what if’ 🤔🙂
