Quite the choir, of frogs, red winged black birds, and wrens, Gods creation for us to enjoy, is incredible!makes me miss my childhood down on Prior Lake, mn, thanks Martin! JILL from Baudette
@@vonnieskitchenmartinsshack5544 Funny how many folks refer to their castle, as the shack, I built my shack in 2008, I am in Swiftwater township, so I call it the Swiftwater Shack, to this day, no modern plumbing, just a really beautiful 5 gallon bucket, and wood shavings, just a garden hose off of a pressure tank for water, wood stove in the living room, wool pants and a good cap, wear it to bed every night, I thank God for everything I have! I am not conceited, but I figure I have 100 percent more, than alot of folks will ever see
Great video Martin and awesome photography of so many interesting aspects of nature....thank you for sharing and all the very best to you and Vonnie. 🙂
Beautiful game camera footage! Amazing! Look at those bluebells… so beautiful. I’ll have to check out Vonnies channel and see if your moms lemon cake is on there. Wow!
Once more unto the breach, is what I would’ve thought upon seeing the beaver’s work. The trail cam footage was quite entertaining. As always, God bless to you and your family.👍
I am afraid I would not want to get into that water even though I am a country gal. Did do things like that when younger but not at 781/2 years young. Hope it stops the beavers. Loved the beautiful blue bells. They were so many and so lovely. Blue is my favorite color. Would love to have some of those flowers at my place. Always enjoy your videos. Hid bless you and Vonnie in all y’all do. From deep southeast Mississippi.
Enjoyed the Video, Hope the fantom beaver messes off. LOL Fantastic trail cam footage, lots of wildlife around. Best of luck with the Minnesota cab trip. Regards Mark
Enjoyed the video. You are building quite a reputation with those beavers.😂 When they hear your vehicle coming they must know they have a force to deal with. Luckily for us viewers you create an adventure wherever you go! That carpet of bluebells is amazing. I especially loved seeing the pair of Mergansers. I need to make a visit or two to Seney Wildlife Refuge this summer. That is where I saw my first Merganser with her brood of ducklings in the water a few years ago. That was such a treat to see. The window at your shack looks like a tv screen of nature! I will need to check Vonnie’s Kitchen recipe channel for that lemon cake. Nice summertime snack my hubby may enjoy. Happy trails!
The bluebells are beautiful , they remind me of the blue bonnets in Texas . And are those snapping turtles 🐢 in that pond with you ? And I have never seen a Green Heron .
That is great trail cam footage, nice to see. What are the ticks like in Illinois? We seem to be having a population explosion here in BC. Thanks for sharing.
Here in Arkansas this time of year you would be getting help in the form of cottonmouths. A fellow works lot's faster when they help. LOL You really need to trap those beaver.
It is great the way you get to witness all this wildlife no matter where you are! You got the work and relax life going pretty good there, Martin! I got some "Mother of 10,000" plants that have pinkish bells on them! Check them out if you get a chance! Bet Vonnie would like them! Have a great week... 👍 😊

The lemon cake is really good, even for a chocolates fanatic.
Great job!
Thanks
Martin, one solution may be a few helpings of beaver stew 😆🤣
The last resort if the waters can't be controled.
Love your carpet of bluebells in the woods. I have a wood duck nesting on our pond they should be hatching around Thursday!
Ah! Spring
I am pretty sure I've never seen a green heron before, thanks Martin
A very neat bird of the wetlands.
It has gotten hot here in Virginia also, 94 F , take care Martin.
We heated up but now cooled some in IL. I noted they had snowflurries at the MN cabin this morning.
@@TheNorthwoodsman1 very odd weather patterns this year

Yes, some monster Snapping Turtles in that pond.
That is great trail cam footage, nice to see. What are the ticks like in Illinois? We seem to be having a population explosion here in BC. Thanks for sharing.
Ticks vary each year but I have never gotten in really thick populations like in MN.

Fortunately no poisonous snakes in our area.

Turtles hibernate down in the mud.
Looks like you could use the services of fellow TH-camr Post10...he LOVES cleaning culverts; you should check out his channel.
Martin. Exactly who is “teaching” who new tricks? lol
I think I am trying to prolong the battle with the Phantom.

Man, this one can shove a big log with ease.
