My husband and I have been following you and Martin for a few years now, and I have made several of your recipes. I make small pies for my kids, grandchildren, and my biggest kid, my husband. They all love the pies! Your mom's crust is just the same as my mom's crust and it always turns out wonderful. Today I made a blueberry pie using your new method of using cornstarch instead of flour. It was WAY too much cornstarch, but I think that I may have been a little short on my blueberries, and I think they weren't juicy enough. So I did like you often do and used a fork to dig out the berries and left most of the sugar and cornstarch. It turned out perfectly, and my daughter said it was the best pie I have ever made! I wish I had taken a picture of my youngest grandson putting that pie away so that I could share it with you. He will be one year later this month and he just ate it as fast as his mom could spoon it up to him. Thank you so much Vonnie, I truly love all your recipes! And I am so thankful that you are healed and back to business.
That is the best to be sharing the kitchen with little ones! Those are memories that will last long after us! Glad your adjustment worked. As I am reading your comment, it came to me I could make small beef pot pies, chicken pot pies. Mart would like those on the deer stand! I found my moms pie crust recipe in a very old Betty Crocker cook book. It hasn't been in any newer copies. Sure is simple compared to others. Glad to hear from you!
It’s a cool fall day here in Ontario so the oven is coming on. Duck for diner and now mini peach pies for dessert. We have had the best peach crops in 100 years here. We can’t give peaches or grapes away!
Love the little pies. They all look so good. Love the idea of freezing them for later. Sure will try this soon. Thanks for sharing. God bless you and Martin in all y’all do. From deep southeast Mississippi.❤❤❤
I hope you enjoy! I took a heap of them to a potluck last night and did come home with a few. I had stiff competition from other church ladies. One made a banana pudding that was WOW. Must get the recipe!
Vonnie, you may be old but, you’re “FAST!” Love this recipe. My favorite was when you said “I should have drank the peach juice!” Great tip using the corn starch. Thanks 🫐🍎🍑
Oldtimer let me know the pie tins I advised are the same!! I could have swore one was smaller. It is a little different description on Amazon of same product!
@@vonnieskitchenmartinsshack5544 most definitely! I call it doing a consumer quality taste test, even if I'm the only cosumer😜 thanks for the tip with the rhubarb . 🇨🇦 🍁
These sure look good! I want to try as I'd love to have a stash in the freezer? Appears that both links to pans are for the same size. Am I misunderstanding? Want to order both sized, but I'm not sure..... Anyway, thanks for the recipe info in the description. It's making me want to turn on the oven to preheat. 🙂
That's what my driver's license says. I'm 73 and you know you're old when a prayer request is for someone 80 who is sick and you think 'that's not old'

Little pies are great. So is a whole. The individual serving aspect is a winner. Thanks for sharing!

Yummy! And who wouldn't like a mini pie all to themselves???
Guilt free, Arlene!

Just thinking I might try stewed rhubarb. Do you think it could work? I luv rhubarb and pumpkin. Never had peach pie. Will try that as well .🤭 🇨🇦 🍁
Don't know why it wouldn't work. Be careful with too much juice though.
@@vonnieskitchenmartinsshack5544 😊
I got a feeling that those little pies are like lays potato chips.................you can't eat just one. LOL
That would have been a great title for the video!
