Back in the Supernova days, both Max 300 (a 15) and this song (an 18!) would've both been rated a 10 on the old scale. I guess that's why they made the new scale out of 20, and why in the modern age they're so hesitant to make something a 20, despite Endymion challenge approaching the upper limits of how hard you can make something and still call it a 19.
Well, I mean, it still bothers me but after some thought it makes some sense. 666 is the devil’s number in many cultures. 4 in Japanese is “shi,” which can also mean death. (or dead I forget which) 666-4=662 There are 662 notes in Paranoia Hades. (Not including jumps) Still bugs the hell (haha hell get it) out of me and I don’t even know if it was intentional but it’s another way of thinking about it.
Now that I'm analyzing this chart to try to score better on it, there's bracket jumps EVERYWHERE in this. That middle section with the the two jumps, crossover into another awkward jump over and over is an example of it. If you jump the first one then bracket the second, that whole section resolves. I used to get a lot of misses in that section
Quite hard considering that it never gets any denser than 8ths at 300bpm. Compare it to later charts that try to squeeze in 12ths or even 16ths at 360 (looking at you, Paranoia Revolution and MAX 360!)

@@TheOneandOnlyCRMartin Large amount of boss charts look broken anyways including the ones from Pump It Up. They did them nonetheless to see how well the pros would master them. If the charts were made in your way, the pros would chew all of them very easily and DDR and PIU would end up being stale, unless you wanted the endless streams from In The Groove custom songs for your challenge.

This song is much harder than Pluto Relinquish CSP. Literally have no time to rest
Maybe for passing, but if you want to score i think this is easier. Relinquish has that end stream that i think is harder overall

yeah this chart's hugely a tech chart compared to other 18s around its difficulty, but that's why i love it :D

A hard chart for a hated song
Is it just me or does this chart look annoying as hell to play? Crossovers are hell especially on a soft pad
no one in their right mind is playing 18s on a soft pad dude
