A cool detail is that Wei tells Pendrew to "show some respect, it's a funeral" with Pendrew responding with "why don't you?" a subtle way of Pendrew telling Wei to show him some respect since he is his superior
That’s one way to look at it, but his “why don’t you” line could also aim at Wei being an undercover cop the whole time, pretending to befriend the other red poles and infiltrate Sun on Yee. At a funeral of all places, he shows “no respect” since he isn’t who he pretends to be. Remember that at the time of the funeral, Pendrew has already cut Wei loose (de facto), and was willing to let 18K kill everyone, including Wei. I doubt both Wei and Pendrew look at him as his superior at this point.
Pendrew was legit planning to kill him and the other HRs in that funeral lool

I played this game with low expectations like I did with GTA clones....but damn the story got me hooked. THey all react and talk like real people.

This game has some of the best shooting sequence. Reminds me of John Woo's stuffs like Hard Boiled.
