Nice catch but very poor handling of the fish post catch. It was upside down mostly and barely recovered when you released it. Released like this. it will most likely have to face the strong currents in a weakened and unsafe state and will get bashed on the rocks.
Remove the lure or hooks immediately, then handle the fish with both hands. Use a landing net for fish over 5kg. Get in the water, keep the fish upright at all times and face the fish towards the flow of the current so oxygen rich water fills the gills and it recovers well. Give it a good 5 minutes and let it give a few swipes of its tail before a good clean and safe release.
