I was born in Bosnia and left for Australia at the age of 17. You brought lot of nostalgia with your footage. You should visit Bihac, my place of birth and visit river Una. Bosnia is one of the most beautiful and unspoiled countries in the world, it's actually world's best kept secret if you ask me. You should rally take s drive though the place. Sarajevo is beautiful, but so is Mostar and Bihac and Jajce and really everywhere. A small country packed with unique beauty. 💚💫
Asalamualaykum, do you advise an Australian family with 4 young children to make Hijrah to Bosnia? We are searching for a land where we could bring up our children in a muslim society away from the big fitnah we see here in Australia. Mosques, muslim community, hearing the Azan, muslim schools, everything is halal, inspiring our children to be humble and learn the deen, we also want a muslim that is not controlled by dictators.

Both Slovakia and Bosnia are Slavic countries. That's why you feel "at home" and now that you've seen that majority of Bosnians are Muslims, you also have another common thing with them, besides cultural and genetic ties. Unfortunately, many Slavs hate Bosnians because we adopted Islam into our culture. Many of them hate our guts, but the more they hate us, the more resilient we become.

Beautiful mosques and great city. Diversity is a core element in Islam and why Allah SWT said he created us diverse: "To get to know one another". Prophet Mohammad PBUH lived in Madinah where half of the population were Jewish and he dealt with them with peace and respect. I think as a Mulim an ideal place for me to live in is amongst other religions and ethnicity. I don't want to be in a place with all Muslims or all Arabs. I LOVE diversity. 12:12 just one correction about “60% Muslims.” According to the latest census from 2013, Muslims constituted over 90-92% of Sarajevo population. So, it’s basically overly Muslim populated city today.
Salam brother Jan ! Just a little remark about the wiping of the face after making duaa. I used to do it too until I recently discovered that it's better to be left due to the weakness of the narrations of hadith concerning the issue (which are only two narrations) and it's agreed upon among scholars that it's better to leave this habit.
Salaam Sarra. As far as I know, all 4 madhabs are ok with this so where are you getting this information from? All scholars agree this is sunnah :) I don't want to get into details but this is just not an issue at all for anyone and it is recommended by the majority of scholars and all madhabs. Hadiths are authentic.
@@jantheslovakmuslim now I'm genuinely confused. I'll provide you with my sources and I'd like for you to do the same. Assim al hakeem video on youtube titled :Is the hadith authentic where Prophet ﷺ wiped his face after making dua Islamqa info site : Answer Praise be to Allah. It is not prescribed to wipe the face after making du’aa’. There are many ahaadeeth which describe how the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) called upon his Lord in du’aa’, and there is no proven report that he used to wipe his face after making du’aa’. Those who say that the face should be wiped quoted some ahaadeeth as evidence, but upon further examination they are not saheeh, and do not support one another. As for the views of the scholars who say that it is not allowed to wipe the face, they include the following: 1 - Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal said: It is not known that anyone used to wipe his face after making du’aa’ except al-Hasan. Fataawa al-‘Izz ibn ‘Abd al-Salaam, p. 47 If it is not permitted to wipe the face after making du’aa’, it is more likely that the person who says du’aa’ should not be allowed to wipe his body either, or to kiss his eyes. Rather the scholars stated that kissing the thumbs and placing them on the eyes is a bid’ah that was introduced by some of the Sufi tareeqahs, and there is a hadeeth concerning that which is falsely attributed to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). Shaykh Muhammad ibn ‘Uthaymeen (may Allaah have mercy on him) was asked about the ruling on wiping the face with the hands after making du’aa’. He replied: Wiping the face with the hands after making du’aa’ is more likely to be not prescribed in Islam, because the ahaadeeth that have been narrated concerning that are da’eef (weak). Shaykh al-Islam (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: They cannot be used as evidence. If we are not certain or we think it most likely that this is not prescribed, then it is better not to do it, because Islamic rulings cannot be proven on the basis of mere conjecture, unless we believe it to be mostly likely to be the case. What I think about wiping the face with the hands after du’aa’ is that it is not Sunnah. As is well known, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) prayed for rain during his Friday khutbah and raised his hands, but it is not narrated that he wiped his face with them. Similarly in a number of ahaadeeth it says that the Prophet raised his hands, but there is no proof that he wiped his face. End quote. Majmoo’ Fataawa Ibn ‘Uthaymeen, 14/question no. 781 And Allaah knows best.
Wiping face with hands is most likely an innovation that has creeped into islamic practices by sufis, also wiping the back of the nevk after wudu is an innovation. The reason many muslims practice these innovations is that they learn it from fathers and they take it as granted without actually studying islam and learning the correct practices. Unfortunately most muslims follow a form of cultural islam or socially approved practices rather than following strictly prophet aleihi as salam and his companions. There are also many dubious and inoovator muftis and sheikhs that help spread wrong practices, considering the fact that many jews went undercover, pretending to be muslims but in reality intend to deviate muslims from true practices.
For what i heard 90 percent of Sarajevo are Muslims .... yes, the Sunnah is very important in Islam. Doing The Sunnah means that u follow all the actions of the Prophet, who we consider the best example of a human being who lived on earth. It is not good to deviate from it and do what we want except for need or perhaps our own ignorance,, May Allah protect our brothers in Bosnia and Europe, for they have been subjected to great massacres and injustice, and Inshallah they will learn more about Islam and stay away from Bidaa and why not implement the Sharia in the near future and become a power house for Muslims in the Balkans ....!
Go to mecca and practice your pisslam there! You have no right to be demanding, in Christian Slovakia!☝️ Can we Christians go to Saudi, turkey, pakistan etc to practice Christianity and ask for Churches?!
Sarajevo is a city founded by Turks. Actually before the fall of the Ottomans the Balkans was majority a Turk inhabited land. After the fall genocide and forced conversions took place on much of the Turkish population. Even the word "Balkan" is Turkish in origin. Also worth keeping in mind that before slavs arrived in slovakia many different Turkic tribes founded states in that region. You may even have Turkish ancestry and do not realise it like many europeans.
Our Bosniak brothers and sisters suffered great oppression and genocide at the hands of christian serbs and croats in 1992 and onwards. The far right talk about a theoretical 'white genocide' happening Europe, but they never mention the actual white genocide which took place in Bosnia by white Orthodox christian serbs against the white Muslim Bosniak.

Praise be to Allah.
As for the views of the scholars who say that it is not allowed to wipe the face, they include the following:

3 - al-‘Izz ibn ‘Abd al-Salaam said: No one wipes his face with his hands after saying du’aa’ except one who is ignorant.

If it is not permitted to wipe the face after making du’aa’, it is more likely that the person who says du’aa’ should not be allowed to wipe his body either, or to kiss his eyes.
He replied:
Wiping the face with the hands after making du’aa’ is more likely to be not prescribed in Islam, because the ahaadeeth that have been narrated concerning that are da’eef (weak). There are also many dubious and inoovator muftis and sheikhs that help spread wrong practices, considering the fact that many jews went undercover, pretending to be muslims but in reality intend to deviate muslims from true practices.
Mas hallah..

They Develop Their Cantury 👍👍
Do they have a ramadan drummer, just curious 🤔
I'm not sure :)
For what i heard 90 percent of Sarajevo are Muslims .... yes, the Sunnah is very important in Islam. Doing The Sunnah means that u follow all the actions of the Prophet, who we consider the best example of a human being who lived on earth. It is not good to deviate from it and do what we want except for need or perhaps our own ignorance,,
May Allah protect our brothers in Bosnia and Europe, for they have been subjected to great massacres and injustice, and Inshallah they will learn more about Islam and stay away from Bidaa and why not implement the Sharia in the near future and become a power house for Muslims in the Balkans ....!
Not naked brother we have a kafan when are buried.
Jan bro, I heard that, in Slovakia Islam,Mosque, prayer is banned for long time . Is that true???
Yes kind of. Not banned but you need 50K signatures
Ooops...thats so bad .I am feeling sad for you and for all the slovak muslims .It is so difficult for Muslims in slovakia .😥😞
Go to mecca and practice your pisslam there! You have no right to be demanding, in Christian Slovakia!☝️ Can we Christians go to Saudi, turkey, pakistan etc to practice Christianity and ask for Churches?!
@9:48 women praying next to men!!!
No dude. Theres a wall you just can't see it on video. Chill
@@jantheslovakmuslim oh sorry, as you said I couldn't see it.
Why do you separate yourself from the other muslims? and pray further away and leave earlier??
what?
Read the meaning of quran in your language
I did
It's more Turkish Ottoman Culture than Arabic
Our Bosniak brothers and sisters suffered great oppression and genocide at the hands of christian serbs and croats in 1992 and onwards. The far right talk about a theoretical 'white genocide' happening Europe, but they never mention the actual white genocide which took place in Bosnia by white Orthodox christian serbs against the white Muslim Bosniak.
Will government feed us?
