They cracked a few brews when famous photographer Jacob A Riis was lucky enough to be there to capture this historical moment.

I've got a synopsis here (may be terrible but who cares) A young adult in power armor is wandering the alleyways of a ghost city in what once was Michigan, he's looking for salvage and scraps to sell for money so he can live, when he encounters a girl in the alley, but she doesn't look normal, her eyes are too big, her ears are that of an elf, her hair's an unnatural color, and most of all, she appears like a 2D character from those torn pages of manga he read but couldn't understand. She gasps in shock and horror, obviously, but the man, named Decius, attempts to show that he comes in peace, but he has to put his monstrous auto-shotgun down to convince her due to her limited english. They sit down to have a chat, in which he learns her name is Galmia, and she mistakenly took a portal which led to here instead of her hometown and she doesn't know how to get back. Decius bluntly tells her that portals are impossible, to which Galmia responds by conjuring a fireball above her finger, but unlike the rest of her form, it's in live-action render instead of being animated like she is. Upon learning that magic is real, Decius suggests that the go to town to pick up some food because she's kind of hungry at the moment, and thus Decius's life just got a whole lot messier.
