Clarification of important dates Father Couture mentions 17:26 and 20:10:
- June 17, 1689 (in Paray le Monial) Our Lord, through St. Margaret Mary Alacoque, calls for the consecration of France to His Sacred Heart, promising thereby to save it from the plots of its enemies;
- June 17, 1789 (in Paris) One hundred years to the day after the above request, the Third Estate declares itself the “National Assembly,” claiming for itself and to the exclusion of the King (who was soon to be imprisoned and executed) the right to legislate for the revolutionary state;
- June 13, 1929 (in Tuy) Our Lady announces Heaven’s formal request for the Consecration of Russia;
- May 29, 1930 (in Tuy) Our Lord enumerates the blasphemies which most gravely offend the Immaculate Heart of Mary;
- August 1931 (in Rianjo) Our Lord expresses His extreme displeasure that His command has not been attended to, and, alluding to the example of the King of France, communicates a dire warning to His ministers.

Every morning I do my 'MORNING OFFERING PRAYER TO THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS THRU THE IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY' united with all the Holy Sacrafice of the Mass throughout the world.
Thank you Fr. Couture for all of your teaching. It is a treasures for our souls (God has not abandoning us. We still have a FEW holy priests. We just need to search for them).

Dear Father, I am so thankful that you posted this! I lead a Catholic Women’s group and my plan for February was to speak about the Enthronement of the Sacred Heart. I was having so much trouble writing my speech so I gave up. I am going to direct use this instead!
We did the Enthronement 6 years ago (anniversary next week!) and the blessings that Our Lord has given to our family with is stunning.

I know this is not actually applicable to the topic, but thank you for allowing a priest of the SSPX to bring this talk. I find that their priests are often sidelined in such talks and others. I find them to be holy and welcoming clergy.

Our land that we are building on was visited by a few catholic people who prayed with us , blessed our land to the Sacred Heart and The Immaculate Heart and gave me a certificate of enthronement
And I just started watching this which mAde me feel so GRATEFUL that our parish encouraged this blessing. St. Joseph s in Shelburne Falls Mass. PRAY for our father there as he’s really been fantastic at bringing our lady alive to us. Now I understand more what we participated in. Beautiful. I feel safe now there.

Thank you for your question which we will pass along to Father as a suggested topic for a future presentation. In the meantime we know that no Pope has had any valid reason for defying Heaven's command for this act of reparation to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. In fact, Bishop Rudolph Graber said that each has been guilty of a crime against humanity for such grave negligence.
From the time of Heaven's formal command for the Consecration in 1929, the devil seems to have used every means to make the Popes believe that they either don't dare or don't need to comply with it. Pope Pius XI, for instance, was persuaded that such an act would compromise his negotiations with Stalin - whom he wrongly trusted, apparently more than he credited Our Lady of Fatima's warnings.
Closer to our own time, Pope John Paul II seemed to fear giving offense to the Orthodox and thus compromising the post-Vatican II idol of ecumenism, or perhaps he had been threatened with some Russian military aggression. At any rate, on August 1, 1984 (four months after his most significant consecration of the world), he lamented to Abbe Pierre Caillon, "We cannot consecrate Russia apart by itself."
Ultimately, the delay must stem from the fact that we all, whether clergy or lay, have not done enough of what Heaven has asked of us to hasten the Triumph of Our Lady's Immaculate Heart, especially through our daily Rosaries and monthly First Saturday acts of reparation. We must continue to pray and to sacrifice ourselves for this intention, as Our Lady pleaded in Her final words of that formal request of June 13, 1929: "Sacrifice yourself for this intention, and pray!"
