This song is really meaningful for Twice and Once as shows what Twice went through ( Mina's depression, Sana's Ig post that knets misunderstood, Jihyo's dating scene, Nayeon's stalker issues) and also showed they're love for once for letting us know that during those hard situations, they relied on each member and Once. As much as I love the Feel Special stages, Mina's absence was felt since its the first time that one member is missing for a long time which is understandable and baby chae filling in for Mina is just adorable. I cried so much watching this performance, Even more because the voice at the beginning is Mina's, she recites her part of the song and then at the time of the umbrellas she speaks that phrase to us Onces. Our bias is very special, Mina is very special.❤️
There really is so much symbolism in that MV for them and Once. Dahyun with her Candybong/original Twice lightstick themed umbrella, which both represents Once and Twice (as it is Twice's official colors). Dahyun sheltering Sana from the rain and helping her when everyone else just walks past her, representing how Once and Twice are always there even when the world attacks a member. Which hits differently when considering Sana was in a major controversy during their Fancy promotions and was disliked by huge parts of the general korean population due to a misinterpretation of a IG post. Jihyo surrounded by tv screens, only looking truly comfortable when Nayeon's face appears. Which may represent both that Jihyo has been highly scrutinized since their TV-debut on Sixteen for her weight and later on her singing on their music show stages. Or that her dating news broke around the same time and so she may have felt surrounded by people who wanted to cash in on news about their relationship. Mina in the forest of mint green lights (her official color). Similar to the mint green lightstick oceans that fans made during After Moon at Twice's concerts when Mina couldn't perform due to her anxiety. When TWICE were having this comeback they told us that it didn't matter if they got awards or not from this era. Because this wasn't the usual style of kpop and it was the first time for them to be singing such personal lyrics. They basically told us to just enjoy the music in our own little ONCE/TWICE bubble forgetting about the rest of the world and getting through that tough time together. There's also an encore stage where ONCEs where singing Mina's part, TWICE was so touched, it was a beautiful moment.

Yeah, Dahyun brought me to kpop, her personality talent and all is like a magnet. Plus the 9 visuals that you see is just half of how pretty they are, yeah, you really need to attend to an event where you can see their jaw dropping visuals live, becaise camera's can't do them justice.
This performance makes me sad every time when I watch. Mina wasn't in MAMA 2019 but I hope she will be there in MAMA 2020. I already knew about Mina's condition, I had hope that Mina could be there but she wasn't. Especially Fancy performance makes me CRYING because I know every member's part and when I didn't see Mina there ..I was broke ;( probably that's why I am so happy when I see my penguin smiling and happy. Chaengie took Mina's part in every Feel Special performance after their comeback. Personally I don't like God Jihyo with blonde hair but she is still our God Jihyo. I got you, Twice have been changing my life since the first time I listened to them. Being honest, feel special comes in a moment where I was totally confused about myself and didn't know what to do, that's why feel special has so much meaning to me. This song literally made me feel special. About the stage, I got really sad because of Mina, but when I listened to her voice there, it was a really good thing.

11:25 as a Jeongyeon stan, let me tell you what inspired this part. in 2018 during Yes or Yes era, Jeongyeon broke down in Twice TV because it was a very busy year for Twice and they were beyond tired (they were overworked! 4 comebacks, active promotions on tv&radio shows, and tour). Jeongyeon felt really bad that she couldn't do anything for her members cos they were all having a hard time. It was heart breaking to watch. (It's on vlive) That's how much she loves her 8 sisters. that's the meaning behind her scene. She watches Twice, including herself, laughing, all glamoured up because that's what they show us but the other her sitting separately sees the hard work and struggles that came with it. Since i'm already on it, i'm gonna tell you also what Once think inspired other members' scenes (lol i have a lot of time this quarantine period): Mina - you already know Sana - she was criticized for posting something about Japan (it was something a bit political but not really). it was bad to the point she couldn't put her head up in public during Fancy promotions! Tzuyu - the flag incident. She unintentionally waved Taiwan's flag on a korean tv show and got accused of "advocating radical separatism" she was 16 and had to do a public apology Jihyo - news about her dating Kang Daniel. Of course some "fans" were mad Chaeyoung - her private photos leaking online and her number continuously getting hacked after changing many times Momo - dating rumours of her and Heechul but it was denied at first (turns out it was real) basically those are the members that had gone through tough times and Feel Special was written based on their hardships and how the members are always there for each other. Nine or none! and of course Once are always there for them too 😌 ps. Onces who read this, please correct if i said anything wrong or forgot something.

No joke, when I first watched Feel Special for the 1st time I was so excited and in awe with all the production, dance, visuals, beat drops,etc. Then I decided to watch it the 2nd with captions on, and the good 'ol tear factory started running..because I knew what was going on with the members at that time (especially Mina) and the way they all approached each other in the MV was so touching I couldn't just absorb all that with a poker face..one of those rare times (maybe never) where I cried watching a KPOP MV lol

MAMA2018 has alot of Mina :) - Im glad you are still checking out Twice even though you are checking out other groups even though they are all great, Twice is always a special group in my heart even if they were not my first group I was drawn not only by their constant release of great songs but their strong bond for each other and through it all they can be relatable, humble, and inspiring... oh and sexy too but that's the least important.

Sana, had so much backlash from a post having to do with her country (and i just tear up every time i read her lyrics and see her sitting there by herself with everyone walking past her under a sign that says "NOBODY", and the fact she did it with a smile). Jeongyeon, finding herself and taking power back in whatever way she wanted, girl crush or feminine. this song came out after fancy when they where more mature and i love they used their platform to heal and help people heal. god jiho knows it helped me. But ill always tear up when i watch this knowing how dedicated they are to their fans and each other. its fucking beautiful to say the least.

Idk if you've heard about what Mina went through and why she wasn't in this performance and some others as well. Mina was suffering from anxiety, and june of last year she stopped the activities in the group to recover. But our girl is strong and brave so she participated in Feel Special MV and Once Halloween last october, it was her choice obviously and I admire her for that, also jyp wrote Feel Special thinking of her situation and after talking with Twice about it, that's why this song is really meaningful for her, Twice and once. 7 months without Mina was really painful but she's now okay and smiling again for us ONCE, I think after that I realized how one member can make a lot of difference in the group❤
2019 was a really tough year for Twice, so many bad things happened for them but also there were good moments, I was here in their dark times and I'll be here in their happy times too, because Twice is worth stanning, like they are such amazing human being, so humble, genuine and simple and I love how they truly appreciate us as much as we appreciate them!

There really is so much symbolism in that MV for them and Once.
Dahyun with her Candybong/original Twice lightstick themed umbrella, which both represents Once and Twice (as it is Twice's official colors).
Dahyun sheltering Sana from the rain and helping her when everyone else just walks past her, representing how Once and Twice are always there even when the world attacks a member. Which hits differently when considering Sana was in a major controversy during their Fancy promotions and was disliked by huge parts of the general korean population due to a misinterpretation of a IG post.
Jihyo surrounded by tv screens, only looking truly comfortable when Nayeon's face appears. Which may represent both that Jihyo has been highly scrutinized since their TV-debut on Sixteen for her weight and later on her singing on their music show stages. Or that her dating news broke around the same time and so she may have felt surrounded by people who wanted to cash in on news about their relationship.

I never get tired of rewatching Twice MVs. Feel Special and 21:29 were the songs that really touched me. Everyday I fall deeper and deeper into Twice.

When TWICE were having this comeback they told us that it didn't matter if they got awards or not from this era. Because this wasn't the usual style of kpop and it was the first time for them to be singing such personal lyrics. They basically told us to just enjoy the music in our own little ONCE/TWICE bubble forgetting about the rest of the world and getting through that tough time together. There's also an encore stage where ONCEs where singing Mina's part, TWICE was so touched, it was a beautiful moment.

Yeah, Dahyun brought me to kpop, her personality talent and all is like a magnet. Plus the 9 visuals that you see is just half of how pretty they are, yeah, you really need to attend to an event where you can see their jaw dropping visuals live, becaise camera's can't do them justice.
This performance makes me sad every time when I watch. Mina wasn't in MAMA 2019 but I hope she will be there in MAMA 2020. I already knew about Mina's condition, I had hope that Mina could be there but she wasn't. Especially Fancy performance makes me CRYING because I know every member's part and when I didn't see Mina there ..I was broke ;( probably that's why I am so happy when I see my penguin smiling and happy. Chaengie took Mina's part in every Feel Special performance after their comeback. Personally I don't like God Jihyo with blonde hair but she is still our God Jihyo. Sana owns this performance - that's it! Feel Special has special meaning for me cuz was my first Twice comeback and because of it Mina became my bias.

Being honest, feel special comes in a moment where I was totally confused about myself and didn't know what to do, that's why feel special has so much meaning to me. This song literally made me feel special. About the stage, I got really sad because of Mina, but when I listened to her voice there, it was a really good thing.

11:25 as a Jeongyeon stan, let me tell you what inspired this part. in 2018 during Yes or Yes era, Jeongyeon broke down in Twice TV because it was a very busy year for Twice and they were beyond tired (they were overworked! 4 comebacks, active promotions on tv&radio shows, and tour). Jeongyeon felt really bad that she couldn't do anything for her members cos they were all having a hard time. It was heart breaking to watch. (It's on vlive)
That's how much she loves her 8 sisters. that's the meaning behind her scene. She watches Twice, including herself, laughing, all glamoured up because that's what they show us but the other her sitting separately sees the hard work and struggles that came with it.
Since i'm already on it, i'm gonna tell you also what Once think inspired other members' scenes (lol i have a lot of time this quarantine period):
Mina - you already know
Sana - she was criticized for posting something about Japan (it was something a bit political but not really). it was bad to the point she couldn't put her head up in public during Fancy promotions!
Tzuyu - the flag incident. She unintentionally waved Taiwan's flag on a korean tv show and got accused of "advocating radical separatism" she was 16 and had to do a public apology
Jihyo - news about her dating Kang Daniel. Of course some "fans" were mad
Chaeyoung - her private photos leaking online and her number continuously getting hacked after changing many times
Momo - dating rumours of her and Heechul but it was denied at first (turns out it was real)
basically those are the members that had gone through tough times and Feel Special was written based on their hardships and how the members are always there for each other. Nine or none! and of course Once are always there for them too 😌

No joke, when I first watched Feel Special for the 1st time I was so excited and in awe with all the production, dance, visuals, beat drops,etc. Then I decided to watch it the 2nd with captions on, and the good 'ol tear factory started running..because I knew what was going on with the members at that time (especially Mina) and the way they all approached each other in the MV was so touching I couldn't just absorb all that with a poker face..one of those rare times (maybe never) where I cried watching a KPOP MV lol

Idk if you've heard about what Mina went through and why she wasn't in this performance and some others as well. Mina was suffering from anxiety, and june of last year she stopped the activities in the group to recover. But our girl is strong and brave so she participated in Feel Special MV and Once Halloween last october, it was her choice obviously and I admire her for that, also jyp wrote Feel Special thinking of her situation and after talking with Twice about it, that's why this song is really meaningful for her, Twice and once. 7 months without Mina was really painful but she's now okay and smiling again for us ONCE, I think after that I realized how one member can make a lot of difference in the group❤
2019 was a really tough year for Twice, so many bad things happened for them but also there were good moments, I was here in their dark times and I'll be here in their happy times too, because Twice is worth stanning, like they are such amazing human being, so humble, genuine and simple and I love how they truly appreciate us as much as we appreciate them!
