Actually, Jihyo sat/rode the mini car 'coz she hurt her knee that time. She was just dancing some easy choreo to prevent herself from hurting more. In their pocari sweat event, they had to change the choreo for Jihyo. And when they were in a variety show, titled 'Weekly Idol', Jihyo did not perform with the members, she only had to watch and catch the member who made the wrong choreo/position because they had to do a game called Random Play where they dance to their songs in fast version or change a song everytime

Yeah, man - there are videos of ppl "fixing" this song because it doesn't have an ABABCB structure. But their fixes sound genuinely horrid. I also recall seeing things about the choreography being too simple. But it isn't! I'd say it was their most intricate even (at that time, anyway). Sometimes a dance can look simple but trip you up. Anyway! I was in the incredible minority that thought this song was a JAM on the first listen. It has a 50s doo-wop style with a hip-hop beat. (There's a great restyling of this as an 80s "ballad" on YT and it really works.) Anyway... continuing to enjoy your reactions! :)

Signal didn't sell quite as well as their other mini albums and it gets some criticism for being a bit funky and different, but I love it. Signal era is indispensable Tw. - and the single was written by big daddy Twice himself JYP.
@@TooGrown That and the kind of talk-rap main verses (some people call it too atonal) and the concept is off the wall. I think what JYP did as producer with it was really innovative, plus the visuals, the outfits of that era, and the livestages, all good stuff. ⚡👽⚡
"not selling well as their other mini" still would be the best selling for other ggs. But the thing is it sold better than their previous albums in 1st week sales. Signal sold 58k in a day which was a record until BP's album broke it 2 years later. Btw Signal was TWICE's highest US 1st week sales at 8k until Fancy came out. It was loved in Korea and frankly by most reactors with musical backgrounds. It's arguably better than Cheer up as it has aged better especially to international listeners. Most of its "criticism" was premeditate due to the dislike project and unfair amount of hate TWICE was getting at the time.

I know others have said this, but I can't wait for you to get to Breakthrough! If you liked the black outfits from Fancy and that vibe.... you're gonna love it. The only reason I don't like signal is cuz of Momo's parts tbhhhhh. Love Momo, but she's never been known for her singing. Yes! I've heard a lot about Breakthrough and I believe it's a Japanese song so I'll be getting to those MVs after the Korean ones for sure! I appreciate the love and sub! Momo's part just has a weird bass breakdown that to me doesn't fit well with the rest of the song but the song still goes hard! Ohhhh yeah someone told me it's their most disliked video but I enjoyed it even though I haven't seen or heard the original.

Yeah, man - there are videos of ppl "fixing" this song because it doesn't have an ABABCB structure. But their fixes sound genuinely horrid. I also recall seeing things about the choreography being too simple. But it isn't! I'd say it was their most intricate even (at that time, anyway). Sometimes a dance can look simple but trip you up. Anyway! I was in the incredible minority that thought this song was a JAM on the first listen. It has a 50s doo-wop style with a hip-hop beat. (There's a great restyling of this as an 80s "ballad" on YT and it really works.) Anyway... continuing to enjoy your reactions! :)

Signal didn't sell quite as well as their other mini albums and it gets some criticism for being a bit funky and different, but I love it. Signal era is indispensable Tw. - and the single was written by big daddy Twice himself JYP.
To me it's the random bass drop that makes it funky and different. What do you think?
@@TooGrown That and the kind of talk-rap main verses (some people call it too atonal) and the concept is off the wall. I think what JYP did as producer with it was really innovative, plus the visuals, the outfits of that era, and the livestages, all good stuff. ⚡👽⚡
"not selling well as their other mini" still would be the best selling for other ggs. But the thing is it sold better than their previous albums in 1st week sales. Signal sold 58k in a day which was a record until BP's album broke it 2 years later. Btw Signal was TWICE's highest US 1st week sales at 8k until Fancy came out. It was loved in Korea and frankly by most reactors with musical backgrounds. It's arguably better than Cheer up as it has aged better especially to international listeners. Most of its "criticism" was premeditate due to the dislike project and unfair amount of hate TWICE was getting at the time.

The only reason I don't like signal is cuz of Momo's parts tbhhhhh. Love Momo, but she's never been known for her singing. And for awhile they were making Momo sing in this weird tone to make her sound more cutesy like Sana, including this song. Just not a fan.
Also, little fact if you didn't ready know, this is actually a cover. Which is another reason some people didn't like it (cuz they preferred the original).
Yes! I've heard a lot about Breakthrough and I believe it's a Japanese song so I'll be getting to those MVs after the Korean ones for sure! I appreciate the love and sub! Momo's part just has a weird bass breakdown that to me doesn't fit well with the rest of the song but the song still goes hard!
