About Batman V Superman:
From director Zack Snyder comes Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, starring Ben Affleck as Batman/Bruce Wayne and Henry Cavill as Superman/Clark Kent in the characters' first big-screen pairing. Fearing the actions of a god-like super hero left unchecked, Gotham City's own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis's most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it's ever known before.

Superman sacrificed his life for a world that rejected him. Inspiring hope to the world and restores Bruce’s faith in humanity. Also showing Diana that not all of humanity is lost. Absolutely powerful. What a true hero.
Yes
Absolutely! Not only that, but the original version of this song in the beginning is called "If you love these People" from the first man of steel movie. Hans Zimmer was basically showing in the music; "If you love these people" sacrifice your life for them and superman did that for humanity.
Amen
Preach
I couldn’t have said it better myself. Well done friend.
So did Jesus

I cried so hard
It's been two years and I'm still listening to the soundtracks and rewatching bvs and mos, the most misunderstood masterpiece in the history of Hollywood.
It has a lot to give and show us about ourselves
Agree bro.
I wouldn’t say they are masterpieces. I think people don’t like what they’ve done with the characters and how they are telling the story. Even when you understand what someone is trying to do with story and characters, it doesn’t automatically make a movie good, let alone a masterpiece. Personally i can enjoy BvS & MoS, but i can also enjoy The Room. A movie doesn’t have to objectively be good for people to enjoy the film. I’m not afraid to admit that the soundtrack for the movies are good and other attributes are good as well, but i’m also not afraid to say that the movie is not perfect in any way, as with most movies. And final response to Honor y Justicia : insulting people who have different opinions and views on things you like makes you look foolish yourself. Just calling people idiots for not liking the movie(s) makes them not like the community that follows it as well. That goes for all and any community.
Sorry for the book. It’s hard to get out what you’re trying to say without putting a lot of words into it so people don’t misunderstand you. But that’s my humble response.

I watched BvS again a couple days ago and FUCK! The first 5min always give chills. That scene is so beautifully shot and scored that it really pisses me off seeing Josstice League.

No matter how we all feel about this movie, we can all agree Hans Zimmer never disappoints us
Yeah
Oh absolutely.
The movie was great
He saved the people that initially rejected him.
y i k e s a r o o that's how it is if it Superman was real...Snyder did amazing job doing that
He is the Definition of Hero.
@@desireeman91 Snyder and Richard Donner respect Superman
well they kind of fell sorry for rejecting him so they showed up at his funeral at least
So much like Zack himself, he was initially so hated for these masterpieces. Yet, he came back for the fans and completed his cut.
This movie is an underrated masterpiece. It truly is.
This soundtrack is just an exemple. There has never been a comic book movie with such distinct but memorable tracks like this one.
My fave after Superman The Movie and that says alot because Superman The Movie is my all time favorite movie
star wars has more memorable tracks lol
@@maxdos404 sequel trilogy is a mess. dont compare that to this
You can never go wrong with Hans Zimmer.
The Snyder Cut finaly is coming. Hope never dies.
Sooo excited!!!
Let’s hold on to the hope that me may see it in theaters.

I absolutely love this soundtrack. Hans Zimmer has composed a masterpiece.
Hans Zimmer just seems to compose the best music to me
Gopalkrishna Pai and I too... this is realy sad music... I like it))
Love this theme. It's bittersweet.

Superman died like a fricking hero!
Gets stabbed through the chest by Doomsday?
Hero.
Finally someone else noticed that! he PULLED himself into Doomsday! And people say he don't save no one!
He could have just thrown the spear, or if the kryptonite tip is the issue for him not throwing it, just ask batman to throw it?
Doomsday's body was too impenetrable for that. Superman went full speed with all of his strength to impale Doomsday and it still wasn't enough. Throwing the weapon wouldn't be effectifibe, especially if Bateman did it.
Kamran Younis He could have taken the spear out. It needed something to jab full speed into him and go deep enough to actually kill him.
I hate Superman for multiple reasons because he believes killing is the absolute solution to everything and that he has no strategy I'm more of a Batman type person because Batman thinks more genuinely about what's he's doing and has different ways of going he's more Brain but at the end of the movie I was actually starting to change my opinions on Superman although he wasn't that much of a good guy he showed that he cares about something He sacrificed himself to save the world so that his world ( Lois) would be okay
if you seek his monument, look around you
So awesome
+Amy Herrick I still am not sure if that's meant as a positive or negative by the writer. Originally it seems positive by the flowers and people and 'S' but I can aslo see it as someone angry about all the destruction that follows him (since that area was wiped out twice from kryptonians)
+Quad9363 I'd like to think it's meant as something positive. I don't think "his monument" represents all the destruction, but instead all the people left alive that he's saved.
beautiful words
To me, that statement read as this - if you seek his monument, look around you. Humanity is his monument. All these people, united. That is his legacy.
bvs ost is very underrated. its possibly the best superhero ost out there right now.
Given that it's also Hans Zimmer's last run with superhero films, I think it's safe to say he went out on a high note.
Junkie XL will take care of it
you are right girl, this movie was a master piece, and i don't care what the people said about it.
Tonya Xiong Yeah. Also the Man of Steel ost -flight/ An ideal of hope
@@ianbrennan9635 hes gone back to superheroes. Hes doing Xmen Dark Phoenix and WW84
Batman v Superman ultimate edition
Truly appreciate what Zack Snyder has created. It's a shame the studio didn't....
I'm pissed at WB for butchering this movie. I left the theater very disappointed after watching BvS. But now that I've seen the ultimate cut, I realized that Zack Snyder made a really good movie and WB destroyed all the important scenes and elements of the film.
+Connor Morley
Warner Bros to Snyder
Zack, we don't deserve you...
No WB, you don't!
And WB never will deserve Zack either...
well you have to cut some parts of the film or it will be too long obviously .... good films do it well like Avengers, and others like batman v superman don't..
same almost every time a new scene came up in the ultimate edition I turned to my friend and said well that would have been nice to know
Who else appreciates man of steel and bvs much more now?
Ah man...no question...my appreciation just grows
Did massively when it came out and was confused at the general reaction to it... I guess people got what they wanted; a shitty, watered-down, shallow Justice League.
Yes.
Dwighty boy Its funny. when they first came out, I didn't like them. I even hated bvs. Now they're two of my favorite cbms
Me too D
Man of Steel: They'll race behind you.
Batman v Superman: They will stumble, they will fall.
Justice League: They will join you in the sun.
You'll help them accomplish wonders .
You're right man < 3
And at the end of Justice League, they're all standing together with the sun behind them.
The Mad Titan No we didn’t; we never saw them standing with the sun behind them, but in 2021 we will
But the real Justice League, the one we're seeing next year
30 seconds in until the stabbing. So beautiful. I bartend at a movie theater where I can hear the music from this movie loud and clear from the auditoriums on their side of the bar and this is my favorite part to listen for. especially 1:47
either*
+Garrett Gopen 1:47 is incredible :) The whole soundtrack is and the movie too, vastly underrated.
3:00 and onwards.
Chills.
***** Of course he'll be back.
yeah soundtrack is great! really hope hans Zimmer comes back
The beginning of this, is so sad. But, then it shows so much hope and promise. Love it.
+nightfallgoddess It's so sad, and I love it! Get those feels
+nightfallgoddess Yea. First Superman dies and then in the end we get his heartbeat suggesting that he did not die of course and then that is where the hope and promise that you described comes from. Like Jesus he will arise
Stop posting spoilers damn it
My mom and I finally watched this together. The Ultimate Edition. She asked questions the whole time, and I had no problem answering them. Afterwards, she told me that this movie makes more sense than the one she is used to watching (theatrical cut). We're ready for Justice League.
Man this made me cry in theaters
Imagine how much more if they saved it for a latter film.
yes, me too! I never cried before in theaters. This movie is the first which made me cry in there! Dammit, Batman v Superman .-.
Me too, man
Me too 😭

This is my world. You're my world. Even though I knew supes was gonna be back, I teared up because of the shits he went through in this movie and still kept a pure heart and still saved humanity. "If you seek his monument, look around you"
Wow never thought I could feel sympathy for Superman but this film made me feel it, they accomplished making Superman "human", when Batman is about to stick the kryptonite in his chest I was feeling bad for Supes & of course his sacrifice was so touching, you could hear everyone in my theater whisper "nooooo".
you could've heard a pin drop
+DashingLC omg yeah
+DashingLC My sister in law was crying at the end.
"Superman was a beacon to the world, he didn't just save people he made them see the best part of themselves"

+Henry Wong ahem....spoiler alert maybe?
No matter what you may think of the movie, you have to admit that the score for BvS is some of Hans Zimmer's finest work!
I personally think that it was weak, but it certainly tried. Hence, I call it a half successful movie.

This scene just prove by itself why Superman is the best super hero of all
barry allens flash aswell, when on infinite crisis he runs so fast he kills himself to save the world lol
when superman died. man I couldn't hold back the tears ae. caught me off guard. thought about my family and my brothers in arms who passed.
This music goes right into my heart. MOS is such a beautiful movie. So deep and meaningful just like BVS. These are my two fav comic book movies of all time.
"This is my world.. And I live in it. It's one third dirt and two thirds water"
Was never a Superman fan but always a diehard fan of the Batman. Man of Steel made me like him. This scene though... Specifically this scene... Because of how brave he was for doing this, I am now a fan of Superman.
😢👏👏👏
right!? I mean I was probably worse than you with hating superman and not caring for any batman after the dark knight. I thought that ben affleck would ruin batman like he did pearl harbor, completely ignoring his excellent work on previous films such as "the town" and "gone girl" and people had to drag me into the theatre to see "man of steel," but after this MoS movie i really got into the DCU. Then this bvs movie came out and affleck is my favorite batman yet. Where is all of the hate coming from? Do people hate it because they don't understand it? I gotta say I'm hating the hate. Apocalypse faces the same problem. bad word of mouth is hurting it in the box office, but i've never enjoyed an xmen movie so much, with an exception to days of future past.
+Alejandro Barazer how'd you feel about civil war? Was it a massive let down to you or was it enjoyable because you pretty much expected a comedy at this point.
Alejandro Barazer I remember watching the trailers and doing research on the civil war comic and all as build up towards the civil war hype. I actually thought it would be good so i walked in with high expectations. needless to say i walked out pretty disappointed. It was supposed to be a civil war and they didn't even have a reason to kill each other until the end, even at that point i wasn't impressed because i already knew about buck killing the starks. In "winter soldier" zola told captain america what had happened with buck and the starks. It was supposed to be a civil war and nobody died, not even rhodey. It was supposed to be a civil war and they cracked jokes the whole time. I couldn't even take it seriously. Its sad too because I'm an impartial guy. I really enjoyed age of ultron, i thought james spader made a great ultron and i watched that movie 3 times, as much as dawn of justice, but civil war, to me, was a huge drop in quality. Far surpassed by dawn of justice and apocalypse in drama, music, and overall quality of the action. Civil war had more action than both of the movies combined , but, to me at least, it was meaningless until the very end where it felt like it didn't matter anymore. The only thing i can really praise about civil war and the real reason i would watch it again is the symbolism in bucky losing his arm to stark and cap dropping the shield. Beyond that it would be for the meaningless action and the endless puns.
Me too dude!! I've always loved Batman and liked Wonder Woman and Superman, but now I LOVE Wonder Woman and Superman because of this movie! Thank you Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, and Zack Snyder for making me LOVE these characters I used to just like! I was actually going to make a video about this exact topic on my channel :)
hmm, after watching this movie a second time i gotta say i liked it. the small details i missed starting with the scene with clarks dad where he is telling him the story about the farm and horses. telling him he was traumatized that he didn't save them and it haunted him until he met Martha. Telling him that "she was my world". Hence Clark telling lois the same before his sacrifice. Alsoo might i add the part where Lex is saying "there was no god to save me for the blows of my fathers fist". Well, if you pay attention when doomsday is awakened, he instantly is about to punch Lex until Superman blocks his fist. Small details man, this movie was actually pretty deep. Especially for a super hero movie.
+David TenderNuts nice catch on the punching part! for all the times ive seen it i never thought about it. Lex's speech about "god not being all powerful" (superman being destroyed by man) and "god not being all good" (superman killing man) its not that he has "daddy issues" it goes much deeper than that. its that he lost faith and felt betrayed by god. I can't help but feel sad for him even though he did a lot of despicable things.
+EclipseHedgehog exactly. i actually appreciated the character a lot more after i watched the movie again. I plan to get the blu ray once its released. I'm hyped. The thing with the critics is i know damn well there are way more people who liked this movie then it seems. People want to fit in with what the popular opinion is or seems to be (the power the critics have is insane). First time i watched the movie i was biased, but as a few days went on i was like "i need to watch that again". Im not even a Dc or Marvel fanboy, just a person who enjoys good films. Its funny how a movie like Fast and Furious 7 gets praised but this gets trashed. Meh, oh well.
*****
yeah people want this movie to be like the next catwoman or elektra or shaq's steel which just baffles me. a 7/10 is a-ok in my book. this movie isn't for everyone and i can see people getting lost easily in some scenes easily (flash's warning. the justice league, heck my pop didn't even know who wonder woman was. and he hated how long the doomsday fight was.)
the trick to keeping up to this movie is think and say to yourself; "what was he/she doing the last time we saw him?"
Here we go with this shit again. It proves yet again that most movie goers are really slow individuals. People saying the movie sucked ass then they go watch it again and it makes more sense to them and now it's magically a good movie that they like.
So now, the real question is: Was BvS really a trash piece of a movie like everyone keeps repeating, or is it just that movie goers are fucking stupid and slow as fuck?
+PermanentHigh You know, i agree that most movie goers are slow individuals who rely on the opinion of critics to see if they enjoy the movie or not. The first time i saw the movie it ended at 1:30 in the morning. That was after an 8 hour shift at work. So i wasn't paying much attention. Thought it was ok. Started talking about it to friends and as i talked about the scenes it made me want to watch it again. So no, it wasn't trash. I liked it. Seeing all of those negative reviews is tempting me to actually make a review video of my own. So to sum up your question, most movie goers, just like people in general are sheep.
I just realize, Man Of Steel story is Zack Snyder Story.
2016 WB: The World is not ready for this DCEU, Zack
2021 WM: Now it is
hope, that is what superman IS, and in the ultimate sacrifice he inspired hope and all who doubted him, especially batman. His death was the dawn of justice.

Watching this in IMAX was probably one of the best experiences in Cinema EVER.
This romantically depressing bridge at 1:06 - 2:00 is such an epic masterpiece. So much dense, raw emotion. Breathtaking.
+xXstarvinXx1 Indeed. It gives me chills each time I listen to it. Fortunately, this soundtrack invokes so much emotion in me that I loved this film. The score extremely enhanced the film for me, personally. For others whom, unfortunately, are not moved in any way by this score, they will simply see an action movie and pick apart at its imperfections. They will never appreciate the full experience. I am so happy that I can truly enjoy the full depth of this cinematic adventure.
Jonathan: She was my world.
Clark: This is my world.
YOU are my world… (to Lois)
And then he died…
Knightmare superman: she was my world....and you took her from me
Barry: "Lois, she is the key".
Henry Cavill nailed the role of Superman, He is The Superman we always wanted.
Timeline Destroyer welllll
Like if 2018
He absolutely didn't and isn't
I agree
He is the most believable Superman. His development felt natural and authentic (before WB fucked up with JL). Henry truly embodied Superman. Its a shame we couldnt see it through in JL
@jareth05 Nah, he was just an copy of that classical image of Superhero, nothing good or natural.
1:09 - 1:55 Probably the best part of the movie. The emotional outlook of sacrificing oneself for the well being of a world that did not see him as a part of society, a part of history.
Glad they stayed with the Man of Steel soundtrack for Supes! :)

There is so much effort and thought put into this film, from the soundtrack to the costume design that i find unbelievable that a "score" in a site suddenly dictates its value for some people. Do not let any "critic" get to you. Judge the movie by yourself.
+Reni DComics Couldn't have said it better.
Wise words, buddy. Reviewers ruined this movie because they don't know shit about the comics. This is the best superhero movie.
+Reni DComics
Fanboy.
As a long time Superman fan, this movie is still nothing short of disappointing for what should have been the foundation for the DC Cinematic Universe. The plot was incoherent and the script was poor. The only redeeming features were Ben Affleck as Batman, and the great soundtrack. The fights were also okay. Everything else was subpar. You can say it's a comic book movie all you want, but recent years have shown us that they can and should be held to a higher standard. They can do better than this film, I consider this film to be middling at best.
+Reni DComics Epic scene Epic film
I felt really, really sad and sorry for Superman. After all he went through.
+Helix 1 I felt like smacking Snyder....why did he have to do the Frank Miller version. He was asked at Comic-Con a few years ago who would win in a fight. His response "really"?! Yes, he really screwed over Henry Cavill/Superman.
***** you are right! Snyder is some anti-hero spy in our culture. Attempting to kill Superman on such huge proportions is like the down fall of the western civilization. That maybe too strong, but I no longer trust him involved with Superman.
But Rorschach didn't change a thing in Snyder's film. He was even softer in Snyder's hands.
I think Snyder may actually be darker than Frank Miller. He hides behind that toothy smile. He could very much hate everything about truth, justice and the American way.
For all the people saying Snyder hates Superman, please read this informative article: www.forbes.com/sites/markhughes/2016/03/29/zack-snyder-loves-superman-and-batman-v-superman-proves-it/ and please watch the Ultimate cut of the film (which was the story he wanted to make)
"I love you! This is my World. YOU are my World!"
I don't care what they say about Snyder's superhero movies, for me they will always be the best
i teared up. The greatest hero of all time. Hated and betrayed and beaten by this world but still sacrifices himself for it
It's a commentary for real life too. Most people now a days hate on Superman because he's a symbol for hope, truth and justice. Something most people have forgotten now...
+Catalyzer935 wait he is still alive right cuz of were loise i think put the dirt and then the dirt goes up it means he is alive(sorry for my english)
It's a horrible feeling when one of your favourite heros die
+sparky10142 but he still alive right
During this scene and the ''WHY DID YOU SAY THAT NAME''
I actually cried. I really believe they gave us the best Superman and Batman to this day and I am not sorry for my words. The movie was chaotic but beautiful and strongly emotional.
The love. The respect of Batman when he carefully delivers Superman to Wonder Woman. Not all people will get this. They expected way different things.
When Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman talked to each other it felt like Justice League Cartoons. There was this cartoonish thing. I don't know how to describe it. The spirit of the team? The film was so brutal till this point. So dark and gritty. Everyone hated and beated the shit out of Superman and then he dies in front of a team of heroes ready to join him. This was his world for sure. He finally felt like he belonged here.
Damn.
Damn, that last scene was officially the biggest cliff hanger ever. I was crying over that superman death scene. D,:
That "Why did you say that name" scene🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼the movie went full circle. Zack really delivered critics be damn I never felt this emotional watching a a superhero movie!!! "Martha won't die tonight"
***** I think that was part of his character arc by the end of the movie he doesn't brand Lex showing that Superman gave him faith in humanity again.
***** Ι don't believe he killed people a brutal way though. Before I saw the film I thought that Batman shoot at people directly while in the film he shot things that exploded next to them like the cars and the flamethrower of the other man. He was like Tim Burton's Batman because of these kinds of explosion-killings.
That scene felt as impacting as the comic in 1992, When Superman died. Seeing him dead next to Doomsday, like you love something enough. You give your life for it.
This scene alone showed why I love Superman. The fact he was willing to sacrifice himself for the world even after they turned their back on him and blamed him for everything, he was still humble and heroic enough to do what he does best. And that's to save the day!
+Jay DC I was never into Superman much until Man of Steel - it made the character more interesting and less cheesy without changing the core of his character. Then this movie made me really fall in love with the character. Like you said, despite half the world turning their backs on him he still saved them all. He's got such a good heart and I absolutely adore characters like that.
1:07 this bit sounds so painful but beautiful at the same tome
I love how at 1:48 it sounds like one of those stand up and clap moments
simplely beautiful! I think is the soundtrack after the dead of Superman. :'(
hey angry bruce have u saw the movie yet? im going to see it tmr but im very worried about it cuz the negative reviews
Depressing Hugo Critics hate it :(, but if you're a fan there's a chance you'll like it since fan reactions have been overwhelmingly positive. I have not seen it though.
+Depressing Hugo i heard the critics just hate snyder because he said some critism on marvels antman which i personally thought was an amazing movie but this movie looks like the greatest comic book movie in the history of the world all the fans liked it but critics didnt like it got 80% for audience who liked it
They negative BvS because the combination: Snyder + DC + Slow and Dark tone. A shame. The movie wasn't perfect and brilliant, but is a great movie!
The Superman theme is one of the most profound pieces of music I have ever heard. It is so pure and beautiful, full of hope, of life, just like the character is supposed to be.
This rendition has an air of deep sadness about it due to the events that transpire in the movie but even in that, it inspires hope, hope that tomorrow will be better. The very ideals of Superman.
I will miss Hans Zimmer with Justice League. His music is something else.
thats what im saying man. Everybody is creaming their pants of the music from TDK and Interstellar and Inception, but honestly, I think Superman is some of his best work. So underrated
Hans Zimmer is the best. There's no comparison with others compositors. This theme specially it's so deep, strong, sad, calm and peaceful at the same time... Just... Perfect
The music that comes in at 2:00. I can’t describe how it makes me feel. Hopeless but happy at the same time. It hurts. I love it. ❤️
Anyone else cried when Superman sacrificed his life? Because i did.
+crack No we all did not. I was checking my watch.
+Mr69hammertime go fck yourself
+Mr69hammertime ahahahahhahahahahaha
lmao! I was checking my watch as well, such a boring movie. Superman killed in only 2 movies, absolutely no development of his character. And Cavill is a decent Superman, thats the real shame in this, wasted potential.
*****
If you think Marvel followed the easy road because they keeping releasing the same movie, the same could be said about this Murderverse. Snyder tried to emulate the same tone of the Dark Knight trilogy in this movie. It doesn't make sense, how can you contextualize colorful and overpowered characters like Superman and Wonder Woman in this dark and pseudo realistic scenario? This tone only works with Batman. Still, they stubbornly tried to make everything dark and moody. BvS is a moronic movie who take itself too much seriously.
I cannot, just, this scene. It hit so hard. This movie was truly beautiful.
Who cut the damn onions man....
Noone its the emotions we cutted
Primus03 cutted isn't a word
Iskandar Hendricks it's a two month old comment it's best you ignore it lol
John cena
it's the emotions we cutted
These movies are timeless. More people are appreciating them as time goes by. True masterpiece
Who still comes here to listen this beautiful song?
I thought you come to bargain.
koushik raja ayyyyy doctor strange reference

Me in 2018 :) after I saw infinity war
Still listening. It's beautiful.
There's something about 1:40-1:56 that runs chills down my spine.
"I miss you son.."
"..I miss you too, Dad"
MAN.. I'm so god damn glad I hug my dad everyday despite our fights and differences.
Detractors: Synder!Superman is too dark! He doesn't care about anyone or save anyone!
Synder!Superman: Saves oil rig workers on his first appearance, pushes a sinking bus out the water, breaks off from his fight with Nam-Ek to save a falling soldier (who was just shooting at him), saves Col. Hardy from Faora's wrath, destroys the World Engine and Genesis Chamber (thereby actively choosing Earth for all its flaws over Krypton), snaps Zod's neck to save billions of lives (traumatizing himself and sacrificing his own morality in the process), pulls a girl out a fire, saves an exploding rocket, stops Doomsday from killing Luthor (even though he had plenty of reason to let the monster kill Lex), pushes Doomsday into space because he knows he can't beat him without further damage, holds Doomsday in place for the nuke and willingly lets himself be blown up with the creature, comes back as soon as he realizes Doomsday is still alive, picks up a Kryptonite spear flies straight towards Doomsday and PULLS HIMSELF CLOSER WHILE STABBED WITH THE SPEAR just to make sure Doomsday is dead and gone for good!
Detractors: Yeah.... well... he doesn't smile enough!
Honestly he smiled a lot in MoS. The end, first flight, talking to Lois etc...
And destroyed a city to protect the city
pedro drama total e star wars
Nothing great comes without sacrifice. Krypton had to be destroyed so earth could have Clark. And Metropolis needed to be destroyed for the world to have its Superman.
The sacrifice motif continued in BvS. Superman had to die for the world to finally accept him and in order for Batman to be reborn and for Diana to regain faith in humanity.
Now you may not like it, which is fine. But those of us who understood the vision appreciated the take.
Ironically enough, he did smile alot in MOS.
@@pedrodramatotalestarwars4473 What? You expect a battle between Godly beings to not cause any damage to its surroundings? Also, that city being destroyed saved the ENTIRE PLANET.
I'm not crying. YOU'RE crying!!
This is the best and saddest music soundtrack that I've heard from Hans Zimmer.
Mark Sampson check out Elysium gladiator soundtrack and sadness Man on Fire soundtrack... She did a combo of both great job on this one... elegy
Mark Sampson Lisa gerrard
Mark Sampson Also check out Christophe Beck’s Sacrifice from the Season 5 finale of Buffy The Vampire Slayer.
Nice try cap
Hans Zimmer is the “GOD” of Background music composition. It could listen to the “BVS” themes all day. Simply mind blowing and impactful music and it resonates beautifully with the scenes.
Batman coming out of the shadows for this moment was one of the best visual metaphors done in BvS
Hearing this while watching this in the theaters... it was so beautifully unbearable. Unstoppable tears were just streaming down my face. I was just shaking my head..disbelieving. This is the best of the whole soundtrack. It hurts me every time I listen to it, yet I keep coming back.
Probably the saddest moment in CBM history for me. A lot of people say they didn't feel anything when Superman died because he died too soon, but it felt as if I had known this adaptation of Superman for 10 years. He truly felt like Superman. And this Cinematic Universe has me feeling like all of these characters are real. Call it a bad movie or whatever, but this movie felt so realistic to me. And powerful and so dark. Man of Steel is officially my 2nd favorite movie of all time. BVS just replaced it.
It was a great film. I really enjoyed it.
+XXVIIIK Same here!!
BvS just became my first! :')
Those people that say they didn't feel anything are just used to the way marvel has been things. You care because he is fucking superman. One of the biggest icons in the world. Saying "he died too early and I didn't care enough about him" is the biggest load of crap I have ever heard. This wouldn't have worked with marvel because people were nearly as familiar with character like iron man or captain America. Everybody knows superman. He's more than just a character in a movie. He's SUPERMAN...that's why his death is so heartbreaking. In the DCEU, he was surrounded by hatred and controversy. Many people did not want him. He just took a beating by batman and then took a nuke to the face...and yet he STILL have his life for humanity
Ditto that, friend. I waited 50 for this version of my favorite hero. I got a chill when the S shield was revealed years ago, the burned and scorched steel, the metal had been hammered and turned hundreds of times like a Korean sword. And within those folds is the spirit of ultimate sacrifice for the greater good. I knew then my wait was over.
It sounds like a slowed-down version of If you love these people, which makes sense, as Doomsday is a reanimation of Zod.
basically Hans Zimmer uses his instrumentals in everything, mixes one with another, in different rhythms, and from major to minor and vice versa, he is a genius.
2:03 makes you believe there's hope somewhere in the galaxy ♥️S♥️ but we just don't know it yet 🙏🏻
For some reason I think this song would go great with Handsome Squidward when he get him by the door and flies through air....
bahahahahahaha!
LMAO
Don't forget the shoe that falls through the ceiling
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" spins dramatically and hits the floor.
Someone please PLEASE make that scene with this song!!!
Shame Snyder's DC universe was short lived for just two movies. But I'm glad that in those two movies, he brought us the best Batman and Superman to date, and finally brought Wonder Woman to the big screen.
#ReleaseTheSnyderCut Complete the Snyder DC Trilogy

Not the best Batman but definitely the best Superman

Superman final scream in BvS still hurts me.
The pain is unbearable bro
Yeah it is
Intense Gaming me too. I honestly think this film is a retelling of Jesus' passion and sacrifice on the cross. Whenever I hear Superman's final cry, I think of Jesus giving His final cry on the cross before giving up his spirit, dying for our sins. 😭
Jack TASM2 It feels exactly like that
futurefilmmaker 39480 thank you! I'm not the only one; I'm thinking about doing a very detailed video on how Batman v Superman and The Passion of the Christ are almost the same film.
This masterpiece that Hans created at 2:08 perfectly captures my feelings of knowing Henry will no longer be playing superman 💔
So true
I come here for 2:00 Superman will always be my favorite superhero. "if you seek my monument, look around you."
Most epic movie ever, it is an opera, visually amazing and more than awesome with this soundtrack! I really appreciate this production, I'm grateful for Hans Zimmer, Ben Affleck, Zack Snyder, Amy Adams and all the team that participated. Hope you love BvS as much as I did
I respect your opinion but most epic movie no! Just look at the dark knight, lord of the rings, even the overrated avengers but no not this
+Elijah Elijah yep, in my honest opinion it was the best super hero movie. But thanks for sharing your thoughts, I've got to admit that the movies you mentioned are really great haha.. anyway, BvS is on my top20 list now
+Elijah Elijah avengers, overrated? yea gtfo hater
Batman beat Superman, but Superman saved Batman from himself.
Precisely
At least you understand it.
+Jordan Calder not really lol before the fight happened batman was already lost... he killed and that's his number one rule to not kill and he breaks it in this movie.
its always the best people that get punished even more, Superman was the best , loved people, inspired them and he had to die. He will be back though, all i know is that im going to cry like a little kid when il see him on the big screen again.
True that.
At around 2:50 I remember in the movie you see Wonder Woman looking down in sadness with Batman and Superman on the ground. It’s a legendary shot that I hope goes down in History. Chills. ❤️
In the cinema i was freaking out over this scene my reactions were "NO! No there not actually going to do this in a film, holy shit its happening
This was easily the most emotional moment in the movie. Even though I know he's not gone it was still sad to see. Team Batman btw lol
+LebronTraveled24 That and the senate scene.
“Superman was never real, he was just a dream, from a Farmer from Kansas.
“And that dream is all some people have.”
I’m not sure but when the part at 4:30 starts I just feel better… Like I feel hopeful. I’ve had a rough time lately and this OST is helping a lot. Hope the rest of us struggling can find some peace soon
*SPOILER*
This scene was so sad! I cried because I remember reading the Death of Superman when I was a kid. Also, the way Batman folds Superman's arms and wraps him in his cape was so natural. This Batman has done this before. Can't wait for the solo movie.
+Ahmad Rabbani ben affleck was fucking awesome, wonderwoman, oh my god so good toital bad ass
+Ahmad Rabbani but the best of the best... super man

I absolutely loved this film! I really loved this song!
You have good taste.

I loved this film too, but when this scene came on, it was sad for me to watch, but I love both versions.
same here
this movie is piece of shit -horribleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee movie
Tense, Dramatic, Beautiful, love it so much. Sheesh, how people can dislike this? Really? What is wrong with you? Zimmer & Junkie killed it.
Hans's slowed down version of "If You Love These People", which is the primary piece that is played thirty seconds into the track, is absolutely beautiful. The original track, which was played during the final battle of "Man of Steel" was action-packed, intense and extremely dramatic. This piece is so solemn, intense and dramatic as well. It's fantastic, I love how Hans Zimmer put together this track - along with the piano renditions of Superman's theme as well.
"If You Love These People." One of the greatest scores ever.
+Ricky Ward without doubt
In the cinema my friends were laughing at how 'nerdmode' I went with this movie, when they showed video's of the other JL members I was so excited, when this battle came and Superman screamed when Doomsday impaled him I got goosebumps and legit teared up together with this beautiful soundtrack. It was heartbreaking.
SammyKnight I couldn't hate on the movie after hearing the mixed reviews and most of them negative, this scene really made it for me and the music just worked for the scene and the entire scene is awesome!some odd reason I choke when I see Clark's name in the paper as Perry holds it up :( it was an awesome scene!!!
2:03 RIP Autumn Snyder. :'(
The crazy part of it is that Marvel fanboys, Nolan fanboys and Snyder haters celebrated her death, that's dark and show how better we are for being on Snyder's side.

This song is just beautiful and a masterpiece...
The more I listen to this track, the more I love it. It has moved up to my top 3 favorite themes in superhero movies.
"This is my world."
*"You are my world."*
Superman's sacrifice saved Batman from the monster he was becoming
Someone gets it
and people hate when they don't understand
Good to see some of us are getting it, eh?
Superman's sacrifice saved Batman from having any competition in going balls deep in Wonder Woman's tight ass.
One Punch Man I don't understand how Batman and Wonder Woman could work. I mean she'll probably break his back accidently during sex
I'm so glad we got the modern superman theme with the piano it brings hope even if there's no superman. The theme itself is a masterpiece
I am listenting to this while reading the Death of Superman comic. I have never been so moved.
