Our New Amish Horse For Christmas Sleigh Rides! BONUS: AMISH LOG HOME IN MONTANA AMISH COUNTRY!

- Elvie and Stan travel with a horse trailer to one of the many Amish communities in Montana, and this one is located at Tostin, Montana.
We load our new (14 year old) Standardbred Amish buggy horse into the trailer where Sparti is then bound for Libby where he will live out the rest of his days in a blessed pampered environment reduced to nothing more than eating hay, sleeping and pulling sleds and wagons around the ranch.
During the fetching of this horse, we got a nice tour of Michael and my niece Rebecca’s new log home.
Unfortunately, as I point out in the video, it is not a real Meadowlark Log Home (it probably should be)
Fortunately, as I also point out in the video, different guys from the Meadowlark team came from Libby to assist and donate a couple days here and there to build their log home so we can all breathe a sigh of relief, because some true Meadowlark crafting went into their beautiful log home. 
Once handsome Sparti arrives home to his new little log barn and log corral at Elvie‘s place, Elvie and Rebekah harness him up and hitch him to the sleigh and go for a ride and that is the first time in about 19 years that they have hitched and driven a horse.

here in new york ( upstate) the Amish never drive cars they get English to Drive them. also in Pennsylvania too. also they don't like to be photographed either. I was shocked at how English you all are. best of luck...
It’s different in the west. You can’t compare the Amish out here to the ones on the East Coast.

Beautiful design on the two homes. And then you just go purchase a horse hook up to a buggy and the ride goes that well. Excellent choice on homes, horse, and riders. There is a quite there I need. Maybe I'll get up there soon.

I'm British and I do sit on the right-hand side of the pony cart to drive, but only so I can see ahead! Lots of twisty roads and parked cars ... If I was where you are .. which is very beautiful... I would def sit on the left to drive. It was funny that you used that excuse to take the reins though! And kind of you to walk home. What a lovely Christmas video

Just more religious, they aren’t smarter. Jesus really loved the common people, but had a lot of issues with the leaders.

We grew up Old Order Amish and in 2000 the Amish church disfellowshipped our community because we were more progressive in our beliefs. So technically from 2000 and we were not with the old order anymore. More like a free church.
