- Join me as I explore Brač Island, an island on the Adriatic Sea, just off the coast of Split, Croatia. See some beautiful hills and the sea as we sail away from Split, Croatia to Brač Island. Explore Supetar, the island's main town which has a gorgeous beach as well as some small shops, restaurants and cafes.
Brač - Brač is a Croatian island in the Adriatic Sea that is best known for it's white-pebble beach called Zlatni Rat or Golden Cape. The island is considered part of Split-Dalmatia in Croatia. Supetar is the islands main town with a variety of cafes and restaurants, a horseshoe shaped beach and ferries to and from Split. The island is also famous for it's white limestone.
Supetar - Supetar is a town on the northern side of the Dalmatian island of Brač, in the Split-Dalmatia County, in Croatia.
Jadrolinija - Jadrolinija is a Croatian sea ship company which connects the Croatian islands to the mainland by operating regular passenger and cargo transport services.

Yes. For an English speaker, it would have to be spelled along the lines of "Ya-droh-lean-ee-yah" for him/her to say it correctly :). My mom's side of my family is from Brac, and I spent many months there as a kid/teen, but have lived in the States for the last 30 years, and the opportunity has not quite presented itself (yet) to go visit the island again. I still have fond memories of being a little kid and playing space invaders & phoenix at the outdoor arcade park in Supetar circa 1981-82-83, with some silly disco tune called "One Way Ticket" blaring in the background. Don't even remember who sang it :).
Good video. Had the pleasure , courtesy of the British Army, of visiting Brac for 4 days adventure training , was on a tour of duty in Bosnia near Sarajevo , Kiseljak , which is ethnic Croat , as part of IFOR at the time , followed for me by mid tour leave. Pristine sea , very clear and stunning scenery all round. This was August 1996 and why have I not been back ?? I will return !!

Literary it means sail line (jadro=sail - like the one on a sailing boat, and linija=line).
Pretty good cinematography and nice sharp shots, among the best from travel channels on YT... to make it even better, if you keep recording at 30 fps I suggest using some slower shutter speeds for some motion blur or, even better, record and publish at 60 fps. Keep it up.

How do you get so stabilized shots of landscapes and buildings...because i see you just hold your phone when you film yourself...so its different then. Nice videos.
