Just had a very rough pike fishing. The only jerkbait that got bites was the Harakiri Shitty Roach! Such a nice lure! Sadly only after your video I realised there is also sinking version. Definitely a must have.
That wind looked brutal. I’m looking forward to next weekend here in Minnesota for pike opener. Hopefully myself and my sons will have some big pike to show 👍 love the show. Thanks for your content

As always great to watch. Despite difficult conditions there is still positive atmosphere while fishing, especially when fishing with a buddy. I'm slowly getting ready to start my pike season with my fishing buddy who is my Dad
Pike has no season, I fish them all year round except when they spawn, and in extreme heat in the summer. Been fishing all winter long. You don't get many takes in winter from land, but hey, it's not always what I seek when fishing. I enjoy the experience being out fishing when almost nobody else it. Havent seen another one whole winter up untill two weeks ago. I call those guys semesterfiskare, vacation fisherman's ;)
@Outofluckpikefishing I'm from Poland, here we have period of pike protection from Decemberr to May, that what i meant. But I still agree with you, if only I have a opportunity to go fishing i always try my best to catch one whatever the conditions and time of the year it is. (Sorry for such a late answer)

Funny enough a we found them quite shallow during the first day of the storm, but the days after when the wind kept its strength we had to go deeper and deeper
Multiple reasons: the wind was way too rough but most of all we don’t want to. We prefer to fish the “old” way. Not hating on live, we do it sometimes. But it’s not our first pick
