ruby elizabeth agreed. the are apologizing because their yt channel is on the line. most of what they say is edited because they told whoever editing to cut certain things out. I mean personal info is a thing but, when we would like answers they don't have to give us answers but when authorities got involved they had to. for their sake, however they didn't show all of it because it may be that it supports the theory that they are metaly abusing their kids.
Did you notice the decent lighting, background, and the fact they are dressed up/wearing make up this time around for their apology? It seems they are suddenly trying to look presentable which makes me wonder exactly how far the legal issues are going. They are dressed like they are going to court.
This whole family seems like a bad remake of the movie "Matilda" if you've watched the film you know that the family inflicts emotional abuse onto Matilda because she shows potential and makes the rest feel insecure because of her love for books and education. Cody is clearly an outlier in this family, not just because he speaks in complete sentences but because he seems to have developed a moral compass on his own where he can judge clear differences between right and wrong, as a result of his self awareness his family punishes him, all in the name of ad dollars. Repugnant!
Claire Knight or Harry Potter having to live under the staircase and be mistreated because in this case these are his step siblings and really the daughter and Cody get the worst out of them all.
An apology fixes nothing. That abuse is going to stay with those kids for the rest of their lives. They have proven themselves untrustworthy members of society and should lose custody of all their children who they obviously cannot properly take care of.
As someone who grew up in an abusive home (my dad and step mom are A LOT like this couple, but no social media at the time) I thank you for bringing attention to this. Thank you on behalf of all of us. I hope these kids can grow from this and see that this isn't how life or families should be.
For some reason I think poor Cody is going to get it harder than before. Making that unfortunate kid responsible for "destroying their business" is not out the question from these horrible people.
That is a very good point. A lot of abusive people don't admit the crime. They will lie through their teeth to look good but if it's not to the kids, you know they're not sorry and being sorry still won't erase habits, behavior and mental issues the parents may currently have. It's easy to say "sorry, my bad" pretend to be good for a month until things die down and then repeat the habits over again even if it's not on camera. I can only image what they do off camera if camera is the censored version.
They hired a PR firm. Every bit of that apology is staged and choreographed by a PR professional. It was then overseen by a lawyer and edited for content. It's NOT "them". The Oxford story is BS. I've got 2 degrees and an expertise in nonverbal communication to back up my professional opinion. People that have no clue shouldn't make statements like that with the University's name attached. There's NOTHING absolutely NOTHING to support their claim. Ridiculous.
As a victim of abuse myself I have trouble seeing their apology as genuine. I give them the benefit of the doubt and hope CP's investigates fully and the children have the best outcome.
I'm also a victim of "physical" and verbal abuse. Though my parents had changed (for the better I guess???) but I felt more isolated whenever I'm talking in public and has an instance to ignore away people that felt like hurting their feelings because they're genuinely would like to know me more which in other words, I would prefer to be alone. As for the DaddyOFive parents, I am not convinced on their own apology and statements. Though I too would give them the benefit of the doubt and will be praying for their children's health and emotions. If everything all went true, then the DaddyOFive parents are deserving to be punished.
Totally agreed. That abuse causes deep wounds that will affect a kid for life. If the abuse is true and it appears to be then they need to be punished and the kids need to be given loving care. I pray that this situation works out in the way that is best for the kids.
Shane OConnor Good thing I don't watch tv. These assholes don't deserve a minute more of air time!!!! What in the actual fuck, these people are probably gonna become millionaires like the "cash me ousside" girl. They don't deserve this attention, they obviously abuse their kids...
NeuroHazard I'm sure everything they did wasliterally just for the camera. I actually doubt they do that any other time. they are shit parents, but I honestly don't believe they do that off camera.
Kotala No Name They say that what you see on camera is an elevated version of their personalities. So off cam they don't scream too much and hit the kids too hard- they just simply scream and hit the kids in a non exaggerated way. Just like normal abuse and not over the top abuse. Right?
I don't believe a word of their 'apology'. They lost custody of Cody and Emma, I'm so thankful they are now safe and happy with their mother and are able to have a normal childhood. Those other children should be taken away too, the fact is that life in that house is dangerous. Thank you Philip for bringing this issue to light, you were desperately needed!
Just saw on Reddit that they lost custody of two of the kids. www.reddit.com/r/news/comments/68syyv/youtube_star_daddyofive_loses_custody_of_two/?st=J27QXX3M&sh=9d8d7a77
They are older and there was no documented abuse of Heather's kids like there was of Cody and Emma, so CPS apparently decided not to remove them - though, if you ask me, teaching kids to abuse other kids IS abuse and they should have been removed as well.
Moistydikdik of DikDik Tribe it takes exposure to bring awareness to the truth. perhaps they're genuine in their response. it is clear to me though, regardless, that there are relationship problems between the two parents which are projecting onto their kids. it's all cause an effect. abuse leads to abuse unless self awareness is created. perhaps this was the perfect kick in the ass for these two to snap them back to reality
Moistydikdik of DikDik Tribe My thoughts exactly. I think they're sorry they got called out, not over what they did. That being said, I don't think they really understood, or understand still, the full gravity of what they've been doing to their kids. And that is what makes me really sad.
I've only watched Philip from these videos with DO5, and honestly I think that DeFranco is just a genuinely sweet person. Will be watching more from you!
Paikea Apirana I've had an aunt who was a step mother of one of my cousins. And she hit him, screamed at him, and everything an abuser would do to their child. And you want to know what happened? He became an animal abuser. He pulled dogs, threw them, even hit them. It's really a reflection of what their parents had done to them and now he's like that.
Haha!!! I agree... Ffs... Sometimes I just don't feel like talking to ANYONE, and just trying to be polite by talking to the person at all, and I just really want to Gooooooo... No matter who you are or where ur from! Ughhh...
11:33 I look up to that dude: getting into something purely because he was worried about the well-being of someone else, trying to stick up for someone who isn't capable of doing it for themself. That's real courage. We need more people like this man
I died laughing when the male attendant tried puffing himself up to look more intimidating and the guy just towered over him like "try me, I dare you" and the male attendant faltered . But on the real yeah more people should get involved especially if it's blantanly wrong.
I was going to post about this too! It almost seems like a CPS "recommendation" type thing, even their clothing doesn't seem like their personalities in the other video clips!
Agree. The judge probably said something like "if I see even one more video with this kind of deliberate child abuse your parental rights will be terminated and you will no longer be able to see your children. They will put into foster care until they can be adopted."
Alyssa Rowe It's actually a result, apparently, of a PR group they hired(Fallston Group?). I have never seen two people look more Sunday School than in this "apology". Of course, I don't believe a single word of it. If they could have, they might very well have continued abusing/"pranking" their kids on TH-cam until something truly tragic happens. Hopefully, with a LOT of LOVE and VERY INTENSIVE COUNSELING, the children removed will forget these two people (I can't use the word "parent" because they don't deserve it) and will grow up to be happy and well-adjusted. #Daddyofivecansuckit
You seriously think that was fake? They're both clearly in emotional distress due to the fact that they might lose their beloved children. I guarantee they regret the things they did. Not saying this makes everything okay though.
Akaryusan: It's more like "We're sorry we were stupid enough to upload incriminating evidence to TH-cam." Of course they were going to get "caught". There was never any question about that. They uploaded videos of child abuse to youtube for the world to see. It was only a matter of time before it bit them in the ass.
Lisa Monster I just find this really scummy to do to your kids... you are supposed to care of your kids and nurture them, not Harass as well as physically and emotionally bully them.
She did up until I think maybe two years ago, Cody has ODD and she has Bipolar disorder, Mike was never in his life and she was trying to give him one last chance to be a dad, and so she sent him to visit and he never came back, and they got emma as well by using her mental illness against her, forging papers ect.. I believe they had a lawyer and won custody, because she couldn't afford it. Its a huge thing
It was that and also the judge had some vendetta against women apparently when the custody battle was first brought to court so he was like "You would probs be the better choice but I hate women so dad gets the custody"
+Paikea Apirana, Here are some of the news stories on it; www.bbc.com/news/technology-39783670 www.torontosun.com/2017/05/03/youtube-parents-who-pranked-kids-on-camera-lose-custody-of-two
"We just wanted our kids to be happy" so how the Fuck does video taping you putting the kids into such a distressed state lead to happiness? That sentence makes no sense at all. (The Mom said it around 3:32)
I live in NYC: if I tried to make eye contact with everyone here, not only would that be exhausting and weird but it would lead to literally some of the worst days ever. NYers have perfected a lack of eye contact
And during the interview they say that most of the stuff that they do ate scripted. So you mean to tell me that Cody crying his eyes out and pleading to be left alone was scripted? That kid is a hell of an actor and deserves an Oscar then
I honestly feel like that's why they weren't gonna let him go on the trip to Disney world or wherever they were gonna go last week. After all the negative attention they decided to pick on the little one & decided not to let him go on the trip. I could be wrong & I hope I'm wrong but it sure does seem like they pick on him the most.
abilenevespa same here, it's pretty obvious that he's the one who they intentionally pick on the most. that kid will have psychological damage for years to come
problem now is that the mum and dad definitely seems like the kind that would blame cody for their loss in fame and everything. he'll probably be treated worse now. just off camera
We are so so sorry that people called us on our shit. Our lawyer told us to make this video but we had to edit it to death because we couldn't help but incriminate ourselves every couple seconds. Boo boo.
I think its disgusting that these people refer to themselves as "parents". She is not a mother and he is not a father. He may be the children's biological father but he is FAR from a loving caring father. Those two are perfect for each other. I only hope that they do not have any more children. As my mother has always said, they make you get a licence to drive and boat or a car but there is no licence or approval for having children. Despite driving and having children is holding others lives in your hands. Obviously drivers have more rights than children. Its evident in his videos that he treats his children like property. It must make the hearts of people who cant have children, but really want them, bleed when they see such a precious gift treated that way.
I love the soft parent clothes they were wearing in the "apology" vid, prob just another thing to make them look like they're genuinely ashamed bcos who actually wears vests or green eyeshadow
KelseyRose Manuel I noticed this also and thought it was hilarious. It was soo scripted and fake it looked painful. I hope the authorities do the right thing.
"they're just jealous" no thanks. I live in a loving family and i would rather be happy with my life and not be "famous" than living with my brothers and sister crying and screaming everyday for youtube fame.
That's exactly my concern tho..It's not going to be public now, and it may escalate to worse things. Who the fuck knows? Why is Child Protective Services NOT onto this? Where is it? Look at their faces, they're disgusting humans.
Considering they did upload all those videos for a long time without ever seeming to see anything wrong with what they were doing shows that they thought their behaviour was normal, which means it is/was habitual. Even if they do genuinely see the error of their ways now, habits can still be hard to break. If the kids ever get on their nerves, do something wrong, etc... (which seems likely to happen quite often in this family)... those old habits likely will rear up again. There's also the concern that a lot of damage has already been done. The kids have been being treated like this for a long time, Cody has spent his most formative years like this... and now, they're being made aware of how wrong their normal actually is/was... their school mates will know about this whole thing... that shit doesn't just go away. Their family counselor better be damn good.
Kyle: That isn't it, Cartman. Cartman: What isn't it? Kyle: That isn't being nice. That's just wearing a nice sweater. Cartman: I don't understand the difference. Kyle: I know you don't.
that oxford announcement was complete bullshit, honestly. :/ i avoid eye contact due to social anxiety issues--absolutely nothing about race involved. do it until i am comfortable with a person, and even then i avoid eye contact just because it makes me feel awkward that they think i have some uber weird focus issues or such.
vampirebatlord4ever you're not alone . I don't like to stare at people's eyes for a long times because one I think it's rude 2 is because I don't know how long to stare at someone's eyes haha . I just look for like 3 seconds then look away for a bit and proceed to look again haha. In Eastern countries people think it's rude if you stare at their eyes for a long time where in the Western countries if you don't stare at someone's eyes people think you're not interested or lying lol that's is complete bullshit. I belong in the Eastern countries .
vampirebatlord4ever It is absolutely bullshit I agree. I also avoid eye contact because I have severe social anxiety. I won't look my friends in the eyes or my family. I get mad when people stare at me for longer than a few seconds because I can't stand being looked at because all I can think about is what they're thinking about while looking..
vampirebatlord4ever I have two sons on the autism spectrum who avoid eye contact at times and I may too due to anxiety. It has nothing to do with race. In fact it's a survival mechanism in NYC. Where is common sense?
vampirebatlord4ever I avoid eye contact for the same reason. not becuase of anxiety but becuase of autisum. it feels very weird to give eye contact and it helps me focus more for some reason if I talk to them with out looking at them
Lmao. Dude, it isn't just the smallest child that was affected, although he did get a huge brunt of the abuse and will probably feel the effects of all this most. It has BECOME the norm for the others involved. They'll move on, bullying peers, and hopefully they will become aware that parenting like this isn't alright. Because most people who are in that position don't realize that, then become parents just the same as theirs, abusing their kids. So it legitimately will fuck up ALL the kids involved, in some form or another throughout life.
yes but there is some hope for them. if they realize that this is wrong, then they can learn from it. They will see the pain of abuse. They won't do it. Kinda like my parents, they tell me they weren't abused, but didn't have the best guides. Yet they grew up to be amazing parents! everyday I wake up a a family. No abuse or anything! Heck, they talk to us and of something they are doing is making up upset to a extream level, they will emedietly try to get rid of that thing. They want us to grow up comfy and I believe that the kids in this family can grow up to be wonderful!
I feel that if you are the reason this got so much attention and scrutiny then THANK YOU. I saw multi-layered abuse. No question. I hope for the best for those children.
Eathan Markson Easily faked? oh hell no. Nope. I don't believe for an instance that any was faked. Are you doing PR for those cretins? I've had plenty of exposure to children and growing up near and around "parents" like that to know it could NOT be easily faked.
Eathan Markson have you ever seen a child actor cry or scream in despair like Cody did? Easily faked? I was a victim of abuse and the fact is, kids don't have the emotional range or skill to fake something like that. I don't even understand why you would think or say something like that. Unreal.
I can understand not believing the apology. Psychopathic abusers are Real good at crying and making apologies. Also the thought crime thing is such B.S. eye contact is cultural.
Otiss I must say the father looked pretty decent, the mother however... I agree. At least on the make up, looks like she's 12 and just found her mum's makeup and decided to play with it.
Otiss it tells me that some very serious legal trouble has popped up. No one dresses up like that unless they are being watched by CPS or FBI or something.
Otiss yesss oh my god I thought the same thing. The dad looks like he thought "how do you dress like an adult? Oh I know! My Easter Sunday outfit from when I was kid!... Damn that probably doesn't fit, I'll just the same outfit but bigger!" Also what's with his perpetual "trying to shit" face?
That video was definitely damage control. I worry for those children. If everything was "scripted" then why does it seem like their apology was edited and all over the place? They should have plenty of experience with scripting and the one time they could have actually used a script to make things seem more sincere, it was horribly choppy. I got the vibe their lawyer was on the other side of the camera coaching them...
Is no one going to acknowledge that the President of the Flight Attendance Associations name is Bob Ross? "Were just gonna take this happy little stroller, okay, and slam it against this baby face"
I think I speak for the majority of people when I say THANK YOU for blowing this up the way you did. It was through your effort along with others around the world that Emma and Cody were taken away from those awful parents. Lets hope that the biological mother can be granted full custody once the emergency custody period is over. You helped do a great thing that will hopefully have a wonderful impact on these children's lives. I applaud you.
Thanks for your mature and sensitive input Philip into this whole DO5 situation. As a father of kids myself I realize that no parent is 100% perfect, however after only a few short moments of watching the videos this family was posting online it didn't take long at all for me to decide that something was definitely wrong in that household.
It should be obvious to everyone that mike guy's face in every video makes him look like a damn psycopath, the way he curls his brow and twists his lips like a muppet it looks like he's a bout to punch walls and through chairs around in a tantrum.
I appreciate you Philip DeFranco. So many times people overlook this because it's "none of their business" and sometimes the parents don't see it as abuse. People often think abuse is just beating and bruising but it's not. Emotional and Psychological abuse lasts much longer than physical abuse, I know first hand. I just heard of this story today and I have watched at least 5 videos from you about it. These videos horrified me and they broke my heart. Those poor kids. But I saw it in a news article that stated the two children abused the most, Cody & his sister, were removed and placed with their mother. It is not okay to teach your kids to hit and abuse each other. Their apology in this video was scripted and did not seems sincere. I think they are sorry that they got in trouble, but not sorry that they did it. I will be subscribing to your channel now. Honestly though, they need major counseling (parents and kids) to overcome this. The other children don't even realize it was abuse. They have been taught to abuse. I wouldn't be surprised if Cody does have PTSD. Those poor babies.
Acii who the hell treats their pets like that? pets, kids, mothers with babies trying to get on planes. this world is filled with so much abuse these days, it's so frustrating
I think it's total damage control. Their initial reactions were too real compared to this one. As a child of abuse, the deflection of responsibility from the parents is so typical. Then this last apology is too structured and seems very fake, definitely damage control.
I agree - it's so obviously fake. Your first reaction is always your true reaction, so to come out trying to sound all apologetic now does not ring with sincerity...
ASMR Victoria not to mention the fact that despite the dad being the main perpetrator, it's the mother doing all the talking and apologizing, indicating that he's not even willing to provide an in depth apology himself.
As someone that has been abused as a child and had to talk to people from CPS multiple times, I don't believe the apology. It unfortunately looks like a classic "Oh shit we got caught so now we have to pretend to take responsibility for our actions." I would like to hope this isn't the case, but having lived it and witnessed it, I highly doubt it.
TheSgp1987 These fuckstains will never stop unless their kids are taken from them. They'll lie and lie but the truth is the only thing they will ever be sorry for is that they got caught.
HARDCOREMANEX Yup. Unfortunately it happens to a lot of children, every single day. You'd think, though, that at some point maybe a school counselor would have noticed a change in the children's behavior, or a teacher. That, by law, is an automatic call to CPS.
They weren't sorry until they got criticized and the money stopped coming in! Idiots got what they deserved that poor boy had to live his life wondering everyday what dumb "prank" or type of bullying he had to endure that day.
Phillip would never do it because he'd feel he's making fun of the guy and making money off of something he said and wouldn't find that ok. I personally don't thin it'd be a smart decision either. It's mocking someone.
What we're hearing in their little video "apology" is the forced regurgitation of some keywords and points they likely got from a counselor. It does not sound genuine nor does it seem like they've actually spent any time or effort internalizing and heeding this counsel. It just comes across as a lazy "checking the boxes" motion.
Their over use of the crying voice emotional appeal is not only deceptive, its also forced, disingenuous and poorly executed/acted. These two are both ignorant narcissists.
limescale onetwo I noticed during the supposed apology that there were no real tears coming from Heather or Mike. But instead looked like there was. Also their speech was stuttered and not slurred as if they were crying or finished crying. I sense a disturbance. But hope I'm wrong.
cyborgdata wait... You're telling me that other people not only knew about this, but went "Hey, people are realizing you two are pieces of shit, so I'd start lying and denying you abuse children"????
+Potential Rapist So people deserve to be mistreated? Just because crap is happening to a lot of airline passengers doesn't mean it's bad that some people aren't getting abused.
Bringing attention to this families behavior was the best thing you could do for these kids! I too was emotionally abused by a parent who thought that hurtful reading was funny. I saw right away that these types of pranks were clearly emotional abuse. I wish someone would have done something to stop the person who did it to me. What is sad is that these parents may never learn. The person who was that way to me as a child still thinks that certain teasing and jokes that hurt are still funny. Fortunately I am an adult now and can just ignore it and don't have to live it day to day. And I have realized that something is really wrong with the person who still acts that way towards me. Thank you for sticking up for a child that had no way to stop this. He may thank you some day!
I am really socially awkward and I hate making eye contact with people. When I'm listening to someone talk I look at the ground. I only look at their eyes if I'm very comfortable and familiar with that person, as in they're my friend or I've known them for a long time. To think that someone might take my lack of eye contact as being against their race rather than just me being uncomfortable with people generally is very scary.
Brad Shram I can understand that. I don't usually talk to people that I don't know well and the people I am familiar with know me and my problems, and I know them and their problems. When I say staring at the ground, I wasn't being very specific. If the person is right in front of me then I don't look directly at the ground so they can only see the top of my head! I look at them or in their direction, just not their eyes. I show that I'm engaged in the conversation in other ways as well. It's a bit long to explain behaviour in a TH-cam comment but I try my very best not to appear rude or unengaged.
Heather: I realize now that he have made some really bad parenting desicions Me: The only bad parenting desicion you two have made is becoming parents in the first place

@S Michaelis - Correct. It's also considered that way for many animals as well, so you could say it's in our nature. Not making eye contact shows deference and respect. It's very similar, imo, to how Koreans will usually place money on the counter and slide it over instead of handing it directly to a cashier even if they're holding out their hand. It's just their custom. Compare that to the hispanic culture, where putting your money on the counter instead of exchanging it directly can be taken as insulting or belittling. They are literally missing SO MANY OTHER REASONS as to why a person could be averting their eyes, and it's all because they're trying to push an agenda.
How awesome it is to start your day getting PHIL'd in! Amazing job Phil with DO5! You've just saved those poor kids from being used for selfish agenda of their parents.
Creative North Aside from apologizing, they should also thank Phil. It takes a Philip DeFranco to change people from being stupid to being a well-dressed stupid. 😆 😅 😂
WeiYinChan I kept checking their channel every day and I saw that they posted the video. it was like 2 minutes long. They deleted the other videos and only had that one video on the dad's channel.
redblackshirt - he is dressed like how a kid thinks adults dress. Short sleeve button-up w/ sweater vest (indoors? Huh).. And decided to keep his earrings in bc he's still an individual.
I have been through an emotionally abusive situation with my own father. I've watched my father put my brother in choke holds, accusing him of ridiculous things like hiding the TV remote, screaming at us at least once a day, telling us constantly to be deadly silent, threatening to "rip off [our] limbs and beat [us] half to death with them." My father was controlling over my mother, not letting her do things or control the money even she earned, hiding what he was doing with the funds. He gaslighted everyone, accusing our memories to be false. For years of my life, I did wet the bed basically every single night. My nightmares were either my father was murdering me, or my father was being murdered. The conflicted emotions made even more confusing the few days he emerged from his room with a smile and hug waiting for me. It was torture, and it scars me still today, even after over 8 years of not living with him. My mom's best friend had an abusive father and was terrified that my father would actually kill my brother when he stayed with my father for 2 months. Two years ago, I finally confronted my father visiting him at the end of the week I was there (in the time he had also managed to threaten to break off my fingers) and he cried and apologized... only to turn around and blame it on another tragedy. Abusers do not want to acknowledge what they have done. They think they're different, they couldn't have done this. I have a feeling that they will end up back-peddaling, just as my father has. This all had hurt me to watch, but as Boogie said, I hope that these children can get the help I never got.
Anyone who's worked in customer service, and done well in it, knows you have to keep your cool when people get rude with you. In the past, I've been told I was an idiot (working a part time/minimum wage garden center job with a horticulture degree) for not knowing the specific name of a random weed a customer brought in, and then watched as my coworkers were screamed at for not knowing, either. You have to read the situation and not let pride get the better of you. I think that's part of why working in that general field is a life requirement to so many. You learn a lot; clearly that flight attendant hadn't quite figured that out yet...
Yeah, i saw something like this a good couple years ago at a gamestop. This lady i was sadly behind was laying into an employee for no good reason. The poor guy was calm, cool, collected, as everyone was watching this lady just make an arse out of herself. Being a somewhat jerk myself at the fact this guy was having to take this crap, at a very stressful time around christmas. I did what any self-respecting jerk did when she was finished. I was kind, thankful, and just talked as i was buying a 3ds game. I used the most unflattering words to describe what she did while i was buying this game, as she glared heat beams of death at me for calling her out indirectly. I went on for a minute or two, and kept smiling the longer she glared. But the end result was worth it. Watching the frown vanish from that employee's face, and smile again after that. He couldnt agree with me without giving her a target again. But he could smile. And that was damn well worth everything, and i'd do it again in a heartbeat. The Service Industry is a thankless job. (Coming from a janitor.) And i'll be the kindest to folks I can because I see it. But its a two way street as well. So, my heart goes out to the folks actually having a rough day that don't deserve the crud they get. (instead of the fellow whom decided escalating the situation was a good idea.)
Miss Elouisa That flight attendant didn't even know you shouldn't make customers cry or do anything that could even come close to hitting a baby. He clearly has no future in customer service.
TheStratovarian oh my god...I had a similar situation happen to me as GameStop employee... It was Black Friday and I had been working for maybe 10+hours (my shift started before midnight). We had a special going on for specific titles and man were the lines huge and never ending...anyway my manager had apparently told this lady the wrong price for a new copy of NBA 2k16. when I was checking her out she completely lost it after she saw that the price was different. I apologized of course, I did my best to make the situation better but she just kept going at me...I was so shocked, embarrassed, and upset...I literally just wanted to walk out..Every one was watching and then this guy who was next in line came right up and started talking to me he was being so sweet and funny he literally brought tear to my eyes, the other lady must of felt bad because she shut up, paid for the game and left quietly... I just want to say thank you for standing up for us! You have no idea how much we appreciate you!
Miss Elouisa lol hell no. If your getting paid minimum wage or just above fuck that shit. There's plenty of jobs that pay way above and you don't have to deal with stupid ass people. If someone called me an idiot because I didn't know what kind of plant they brought in I wouldn't take that shit. Tell them to fuck off. If you get fired there's tons of minimum wage jobs to go grab.
Honestly, the look on the flight attendant's face when the one dude is standing up to him looked like he was on his last legs of civility. I'm not excusing what he allegedly did for a second, but I'm guessing that customer frustrations were the least of what was bringing him to that level of upset. There is probably something major going on in his personal life; those eyes seem like "I'm hurting really bad inside" eyes to me. He looked like he was more ready to crumble to his knees and cry than get in a fight. So yeah, he's probably not a good candidate for customer service jobs. But I also kind of pity him because he doesn't look like a habitually aggressive person to me; he looks like someone who got that way from bottled up emotions and stress. I hope he finds a job better suited to him. The mother and her family, from the sound of it, are already being duly compensated.
Evan O'Dwyer The largest reason for why he probably said that is if the passenger hits the attendant, the passenger has then committed a federal crime so he probably used that as a shitty last resort because he didn't know how to handle the situation
Imagine the "invisible ink prank" where the kid just says "I didn't do it, this is one of your stupid pranks, isn't it?" It would be boring and nobody would care. They absolutely wanted their kid to cry and defend himself. I think that is why they singled out their youngest, because he was more inclined to react, to scream and cry. They tortured that kid for TH-cam views
Any time a child abuser attempts to reconcile their actions, it always seems like damage control to me. However, it's not up to me to believe, and they don't need to make me believe it. The only people they owe an apology to is their children and only people they should be making apologies to is their children, especially Cody.
first off! i love the show, and have been a fan since high school (just graduated this may) with that being said you said "feeling uncomfortable" doesn't make you "right" or the "victim", but the complaint with the micro-agressions literally puts someone's comfort over someone else's identity. just because it's difficult to make eye-contact with someone of another race, doesn't mean you should be allowed to avoid it. i myself face anxiety, but anytime it disrupts communication I should be aware that it still hurts peoples feelings. whether or not the intention is to hurt someone, if they feel hurt, they feel hurt! in order to NOT be racist you must be able to acknowledge differences AND accept them, not ignore them. accepting the difference does not equate to conforming. "hyper-sensitive" is also a strong word i feel, but then again shouldn't we always be looking to communicate what we feel in the most effective way possible? what are y'alls thoughts on this view?
No doubt their TH-cam channel is gonna crumble anyway because of how many failed attempts it took to acknowledge what they did and apologise. And to add onto that, we didn't even see them apologise to the children themselves. They may say one thing to us but still lie to the kids about how their treatment was justified or they'll just buy them a PS4 to shut up about it.
Avonn King your a complete dumbass daddyofives channel is borderline child abuse and I'm glad Phil brought attention to this and helped fix there family
Hopefully this is the last time we have to talk about this. Love yo faces and have a great Monday! :)
Hopefully
Philip DeFranco ❤️ i hope it is
Philip DeFranco yay
👍
Love you
"I would've gotten away with it too, if it wasn't for that meddling DeFranco guy"
greenman394 holy shit 😂
Idk why I'm picturing a Scooby Doo villain finally caught saying " I would've gotten if it wasn't for you darn kids! "
harsh kakru Because it was a scooby doo reference
Scooby dooby doo!
Phil pulls the mask off of Do5 and it's the same face but less scruffy, wearing a sweatervest
they're not apologizing out of sincerity, they're apologizing because they got caught. they truly disgust me.
Ruby D yeah
ruby elizabeth same
Yep. It's stupid.
ruby elizabeth agreed. the are apologizing because their yt channel is on the line. most of what they say is edited because they told whoever editing to cut certain things out. I mean personal info is a thing but, when we would like answers they don't have to give us answers but when authorities got involved they had to. for their sake, however they didn't show all of it because it may be that it supports the theory that they are metaly abusing their kids.
Same. I can tell by their body language that they're not truly sorry.
Did you notice the decent lighting, background, and the fact they are dressed up/wearing make up this time around for their apology? It seems they are suddenly trying to look presentable which makes me wonder exactly how far the legal issues are going. They are dressed like they are going to court.
Uhm... can we bring in the death penalty for attempting to wear a sweater vest to court?
Brianna Probably posting this bc CPS is going through their life with a goddamn micrpscope.
RacconAndMT Sadly No.
Gta2O13 I dont think the kids are gone there probably staying at a aunts or uncles house atm
No we can't . I m gonna assume you are young enough that you havent taken any world history classes yet to know why this is stupid
(0:52) What I heard: "I'm sorry I hurt anyone's feelings. But I would've gotten away with it too, if it weren't for that meddling DeFranco guy."
Jeremy why isn't this top comment?
Jeremy Scooby Doo reference huh? :)
yes. :)
yes. :)
yes. :)
Repugnant!
Annie Andrews miss honey is philip defranco
Claire Knight or Harry Potter having to live under the staircase and be mistreated because in this case these are his step siblings and really the daughter and Cody get the worst out of them all.
Claire Knight So true
An apology fixes nothing. That abuse is going to stay with those kids for the rest of their lives. They have proven themselves untrustworthy members of society and should lose custody of all their children who they obviously cannot properly take care of.
I agree. Too little, too late.
Ah but they're apologetic so it's ok, -_- being sarcastic. Actually heard something similar as well.
Yes very true!
I bet when they get home they still blame their kids for screwing up their youtube moneypot,
true
bet
kentan00 Absolutely
Cody probably catching all types of hell off camera.
James Muller and James Taylor a lot of James' wanting to give gift cards
As someone who grew up in an abusive home (my dad and step mom are A LOT like this couple, but no social media at the time) I thank you for bringing attention to this. Thank you on behalf of all of us. I hope these kids can grow from this and see that this isn't how life or families should be.
Ashley Girl 💛💛 I hope you're in a better place
Ashley Girl I’m sorry you went through a similar situation
Ashley I went through the same thing. It was terrible. But its still awesome that these kids are in a better place
Parents like that have a special place in hell for them
Voldemort could give a more convincing apology.
Actually it's he who shall not be named
Miss Digitalmoon Oh my you're brave uttering his name in plain light of day
Miss Digitalmoon HAHAHAHAHA!!! oh God
I know right... they are so FAKE...
the mum reminds me of umbridge
"That Defranco guy" can I get that on a t-shirt? 😂
Alex In Wonderland that would be hilarious
Alex In Wonderland Yas plz
PLEASE YES-
*Difranco
the dude spells it wrong on Twitter all the time
Alex In Wonderland Pleeeeeeaaaaase
Those parents don't need to issue an apology to the public, they need to issue a GENUINE apology to their children, especially poor Cody.
Word!
they probably wouldn't. they're just asshole people
For some reason I think poor Cody is going to get it harder than before.
I can only image what they do off camera if camera is the censored version.
no, the parents need to get their asses beat.
Ridiculous.
"Mike, put on a vest and glasses, it'll help your 70 IQ points do their best job"
Even those pathetic 'outfits' they dressed up in... 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
The clothes, the words, the tone of voice....
As a victim of abuse myself I have trouble seeing their apology as genuine. I give them the benefit of the doubt and hope CP's investigates fully and the children have the best outcome.
Britter's Productions that and I hope do5 becomes cellmates with the bootywarrior
silentblast I like ya and I want ya
The best public apology starter kit:
"I'm sorry I got caught."
"It was just a prank bro"
Que the fake tears 😭
Daphne Rose I bet she actually searched acting tips on how to cry on cue for that vid
Obviously she wasn't just crying because she could fake it, she lost her meal tickets !!!
Shane OConnor
Good thing I don't watch tv. These assholes don't deserve a minute more of air time!!!!
What in the actual fuck, these people are probably gonna become millionaires like the "cash me ousside" girl. They don't deserve this attention, they obviously abuse their kids...
It's spelled "cue"
Lambert Lim
*i know what you mean but I must correct you anyway*
You "grammar nazis are lame, lmfao.
Family counseling will not work for an abusive home because the children will not feel safe to tell the doctors what is happening to them.
"news wouldn't happen without that defranco guy" should be a tee shirt
We need phillip to see this
@Philip Defranco. Come on team, this quote is Gold
*t-shirt
I'm sure they'll never do such horrible things to their kids again...
On camera.
NeuroHazard I'm sure everything they did wasliterally just for the camera. I actually doubt they do that any other time. they are shit parents, but I honestly don't believe they do that off camera.
Kotala No Name then how did Cody get so many bruises all over his arms, that didn't all happen on camera
Kotala No Name They say that what you see on camera is an elevated version of their personalities. So off cam they don't scream too much and hit the kids too hard- they just simply scream and hit the kids in a non exaggerated way. Just like normal abuse and not over the top abuse. Right?
Some people know it's wrong to hit your kids, others think it's normal.
Good, good for the kids👍 now they might not grow up as punks
They issued this apology because they're in the spotlight. Because their lives are being turned upside down. Not because they are sorry.
A K Yup '
A K look at their opinion in 90% of their other videos
A K Their lawyer made them do it. Just look at the title.
Titty Kitty Cookie yep. You bet your ass someone will make an apology if they're at risk of losing their little mini punching bags.
Titty Kitty Cookie speaking from experience. #childofanastydivorce
lmao "I would've got away if it wasn't for you meddling DeFranco & your subscribers too!"
Adriana Valadez nice repost
Lmao dude gtfo Bob
sorry i ruined your perfect 420 likes with my upvote
Lmao.
Also, 900th upvote ;)
Adriana Valadez yes 😂😂😊
I don't believe a word of their 'apology'. They lost custody of Cody and Emma, I'm so thankful they are now safe and happy with their mother and are able to have a normal childhood. Those other children should be taken away too, the fact is that life in that house is dangerous. Thank you Philip for bringing this issue to light, you were desperately needed!
The older brother can stay for a little bit longer because he’s a bitch
"We just wanted our kids to be happy"
*pushes kid into shelf, screams obscenities at their children*
MJ Mickelsen you forgot when he yelled at Cody for self harming 👌
You wanna know how they got these scars?
Just saw on Reddit that they lost custody of two of the kids. www.reddit.com/r/news/comments/68syyv/youtube_star_daddyofive_loses_custody_of_two/?st=J27QXX3M&sh=9d8d7a77
MJ Mickelsen Not all of them? What about the other three?
They are older and there was no documented abuse of Heather's kids like there was of Cody and Emma, so CPS apparently decided not to remove them - though, if you ask me, teaching kids to abuse other kids IS abuse and they should have been removed as well.
Apology="please dont take our income away"
I hope they lose it all
^^^
The kids should get all of the money except for the oldest brother
It feels like they are sad that they got exposed instead of being sorry for what happened
I agree. They are so ready to blame everyone else but themselves.
Moistydikdik of DikDik Tribe you hit the nail right on the head!
If CPS really is investigating them, then it looks like that video is straight damage control instead of being sincere.
Honey Parker I know it’s been a year haha but I hope you’re still a member of the Nation and enjoying your stay!
I came here from daz lol
@@dogpolice I was just about to say that 😂🙏🏽
Let's thank the gods for people like "the defranco guy" 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
They lost custody of Cody and Emma!!
thank god!!!
vonmahs324
i hope their mother is a better parent.
vonmahs324 FINALLY.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
"That is the most ridiculous, snowflakey bullshit I've ever heard. "
-Philip DeFranco, 2017
Nathan Flannery yes, fuck the SJW PC agenda!
Just remember that looking at them can be construed as racist because they might think you are staring because they look different.
And that is why this a load of bullshit from Oxford.
If you don't want to be racist stare at minorities.
Haha!!! I agree...
We need more people like this man
Noah The Dragonborn same here even if he was a little extreme
sam petty have to be extrame sometimes
yes agreed!
I died laughing when the male attendant tried puffing himself up to look more intimidating and the guy just towered over him like "try me, I dare you" and the male attendant faltered . But on the real yeah more people should get involved especially if it's blantanly wrong.
sounds a bit like a court ordered apology :)
Alyssa Rowe she's had her hair done! What's with her stupid frozen face of shock?
Alyssa Rowe and court ordered therapy. That's always one of the first stipulations from CPS.
I feel like they were talking in front of a lawyer. That was a fake ass apology !
They are, its a damage control councelor (Thats not the proper name but you get the idea)
missplasticpony and they're wearing costumes.
How do you know its fake lol. What if it's legit apology.
Alana Jones I never said its real.I only said what if it's a legit apology.I did not say that It is real apology
You seriously think that was fake? They're both clearly in emotional distress due to the fact that they might lose their beloved children. I guarantee they regret the things they did. Not saying this makes everything okay though.
_I love how Phil is still savage, going in on these horrible parents. This is TRULY needed!_
AcquaNINJA he's not savage he's honest
who? you mean that DiFranco guy? yeah I like his honesty too
Philip keeps me hope in humanity every time I watch him.
He also keeps me awake at 3:am
Carly's Cubs same
@@RobBob555 I'm sorry what
It's probably just their attorney talking
Obviously +
yep there second apology is about as real as theyre gonna get with an apology and it basically boils down to "we're sorry we got caught"
Akaryusan
Yes, that's exactly right. Sorry they got caught. Parents like that don't change.
His attorney must be a great editor.
Akaryusan: It's more like "We're sorry we were stupid enough to upload incriminating evidence to TH-cam." Of course they were going to get "caught". There was never any question about that. They uploaded videos of child abuse to youtube for the world to see. It was only a matter of time before it bit them in the ass.
this "apology" is so fake, they just apologize now because they realized that their you tube channel is in danger.
And Heather's ex is trying to get custody of her son's so she's doing damage control.
Lisa Monster I just find this really scummy to do to your kids... you are supposed to care of your kids and nurture them, not Harass as well as physically and emotionally bully them.
mathew peter in danger? that shit is dead 😂😂
B-b-but the sweater vest!
mathew peter I don't believe any of that
THE REAL MOM HAS CUSTODY OF THEM NOW!!!!
I'm curious why the biological mother didn't have them to start with. Are there issues there too?
She did up until I think maybe two years ago, Cody has ODD and she has Bipolar disorder, Mike was never in his life and she was trying to give him one last chance to be a dad, and so she sent him to visit and he never came back, and they got emma as well by using her mental illness against her, forging papers ect.. I believe they had a lawyer and won custody, because she couldn't afford it. Its a huge thing
It was that and also the judge had some vendetta against women apparently when the custody battle was first brought to court so he was like "You would probs be the better choice but I hate women so dad gets the custody"
women get majority wins of getting the children judy..... the judge wasnt sexist.
+Paikea Apirana, Here are some of the news stories on it;
www.bbc.com/news/technology-39783670
www.torontosun.com/2017/05/03/youtube-parents-who-pranked-kids-on-camera-lose-custody-of-two
"We just wanted our kids to be happy" so how the Fuck does video taping you putting the kids into such a distressed state lead to happiness? That sentence makes no sense at all. (The Mom said it around 3:32)
I feel like a part of her meant her kids, not the step-kids.
The only videos that they make fake, is there apology one
Abigail Williams lol
How do you not know how to properly use the different “theirs.”
I live in NYC: if I tried to make eye contact with everyone here, not only would that be exhausting and weird but it would lead to literally some of the worst days ever. NYers have perfected a lack of eye contact
Having visited Oxford and grown up here in NYC, I can say that Oxford is in no way at all like NYC
It's almost like they had someone else proof, and edit their apology video.
Maybe a lawyer
Braxx I was thinking the same.
Braxx That's what it seemed like. They probably did not edit this themselves.
Yea. have you seen the description? super organized, neat, and has correct punctuation use.
I was thinking the same thing - from the outfits to the edits to the change in tone, it looks like they are doing as instructed from a lawyer.
And during the interview they say that most of the stuff that they do ate scripted. So you mean to tell me that Cody crying his eyes out and pleading to be left alone was scripted? That kid is a hell of an actor and deserves an Oscar then
I hope that was sarcasm.
Please be Sarcastic
I fear most for Cody, many abusive parents pick one kid to pour most of the abuse on. I hope I am wrong.
I honestly feel like that's why they weren't gonna let him go on the trip to Disney world or wherever they were gonna go last week. After all the negative attention they decided to pick on the little one & decided not to let him go on the trip. I could be wrong & I hope I'm wrong but it sure does seem like they pick on him the most.
abilenevespa same here, it's pretty obvious that he's the one who they intentionally pick on the most. that kid will have psychological damage for years to come
Guess i was that kid then.
problem now is that the mum and dad definitely seems like the kind that would blame cody for their loss in fame and everything. he'll probably be treated worse now. just off camera
abilenevespa It's called a 'scapegoat'. Really, look it up.
We are so so sorry that people called us on our shit. Our lawyer told us to make this video but we had to edit it to death because we couldn't help but incriminate ourselves every couple seconds. Boo boo.
Chris Shawn 2 seconds into it, I thought the same thing.
Can I just say that they totally picked their outfits to look more wholesome? Nothing wrong with that but it's kinda obvious
KelseyRose Manuel I noticed this also and thought it was hilarious. It was soo scripted and fake it looked painful.
I hope the authorities do the right thing.
exactly. that video was just an act though, they had to wear a costume.
KelseyRose Manuel like it's there "Sunday Best" haha
EXACTLY
Well glad I wasn't the only one to think that!
I'm pretty sure Cody got the family gun and forced them to say this.
Exter heh. That's funny. Wonder if he's gone to school yet.....
"cody spoke in.... classsss todayyyyyyyyy!" ok ill stop now XD
"King Cody the wicked" sorry I had to finish it lol
"they're just jealous" no thanks. I live in a loving family and i would rather be happy with my life and not be "famous" than living with my brothers and sister crying and screaming everyday for youtube fame.
I hope Cody isn't just getting beat behind closed doors now
That's exactly my concern tho..It's not going to be public now, and it may escalate to worse things. Who the fuck knows? Why is Child Protective Services NOT onto this? Where is it? Look at their faces, they're disgusting humans.
Well apparently they're being invastigated by CPS now, Philip said it ! Didn't check sources yet tho
***** missed that, sorry. Hope it's true. People had their kids taken away for less than what these bastards do, hopefully it's their case as well
my fear exactly
Kyle: I know you don't.
albert276 Most suited reference ever
😂
It's confirmed: the trash parents are trying to raise money to go to Casa Bonita through their child abuse videos.
It's sad how fitting that is.
albert276 you win the Internet!
that oxford announcement was complete bullshit, honestly.
What a bunch of weirdos! I always stare directly and deeply into a person's eyes. Unblinking. Loving.
It's totally not creepy.
Trust me...
vampirebatlord4ever I avoid eye contact for the same reason. not becuase of anxiety but becuase of autisum. it feels very weird to give eye contact and it helps me focus more for some reason if I talk to them with out looking at them
An0n
That's not funny
yes but there is some hope for them. if they realize that this is wrong, then they can learn from it.
You can tell hes not upset because of what he did. he is upset because he got caught. As for her, shes just a monster.
SickSadWhirled Meaning those psycho parents eh?
definitely the evil stepmother
Austun Lucero lil boy, nobody cares. ugly and proud.
SickSadWhirled bruh you still watch fucking spongbob.im gonna go kms
what's an "ugly" ?
I feel that if you are the reason this got so much attention and scrutiny then THANK YOU. I saw multi-layered abuse. No question. I hope for the best for those children.
Carolyn Stone forgive me as I don't follow their channel, but from the clips I've seen you could EASILY fake all of those, how is it 'no question'?
Eathan Markson Easily faked? oh hell no. Nope. I don't believe for an instance that any was faked. Are you doing PR for those cretins? I've had plenty of exposure to children and growing up near and around "parents" like that to know it could NOT be easily faked.
Eathan Markson have you ever seen a child actor cry or scream in despair like Cody did? Easily faked? I was a victim of abuse and the fact is, kids don't have the emotional range or skill to fake something like that. I don't even understand why you would think or say something like that. Unreal.
Exactly.
I can understand not believing the apology. Psychopathic abusers are Real good at crying and making apologies.
Also the thought crime thing is such B.S. eye contact is cultural.
They dressed like they're two 10 year olds ready for Sunday School
Hope Alicia apparently they've lost custody of both of the dad's kids now
Is no one going to acknowledge that the President of the Flight Attendance Associations name is Bob Ross?
"Were just gonna take this happy little stroller, okay, and slam it against this baby face"
^Friday show plz
Oh my god I thought I was the only one who cared about that XD
Thank god, that was all I could think about.
"Beat the devil out of it"
-Bob Ross
Holy shit. I thought I heard Bob Ross on the news but just blew it off. Thinking I heard Rob Moss or some bullshit
Bob Ross: Flight Attendants aren't violent, they just make happy little accidents.
I fucking love you
I read what you did there....very clever..lol
I was going to make a Bob Ross joke, but this yours was soooooooooooo much better
Thank you!
Joe Swanson My reaction when I heard the name 'Bob Ross' in the video was 'wait... Bob Ross!?! Holy shit I have to see the comments!'
that daddy of 5 dad looks so mad that he actually has to apologize and wear a sweater vest lol
Lukas Gallegos id be mad too if I had to wear a sweater vest. It's not 1998.
Lukas Gallegos and that he had to put on his glasses lol
Lukas Gallegos the vest tho 😂😂😂
If I was the vest, I'd be pissed that I have to be wrapped around an asshat like him.
Sweater vests make me angry.
You're a fucking hero for sticking with this story and not just forgetting about it after a couple of days.
Thanks for your mature and sensitive input Philip into this whole DO5 situation. As a father of kids myself I realize that no parent is 100% perfect, however after only a few short moments of watching the videos this family was posting online it didn't take long at all for me to decide that something was definitely wrong in that household.
looks like it's now daddyothree
saw it on twitter
Xylaite should be daddy of none. Jake, Alex, and Ryan are still in that hellhole and they need help too!
Don't get Triggered
And where'd you think he learned that from? And where'd you think he'll put what he learns into practice?
Those 3 still need help.
It should be obvious to everyone that mike guy's face in every video makes him look like a damn psycopath, the way he curls his brow and twists his lips like a muppet it looks like he's a bout to punch walls and through chairs around in a tantrum.
#Alpharad'sCult?
Xylaite
He actually changed it? Awesome!!
(Edit: changed typo)
It is amazing what a "parent" can learn in just a week... After getting caught...
How to publicly apologize:
1. Wear sweater vest
2. .....................
3. Profit
Jack Miller it's like Dapper Laughs and his turtleneck all over again.
Hahahaha I'm kinda glad he came back though.
Not these cunts
I deeply hope the kids don't get treated like pets anymore.
Cody reminds me of me tbh, hurts me as the same things actually happened to me as a child
Acii not even pets get treated like that
Acii who the hell treats their pets like that? pets, kids, mothers with babies trying to get on planes. this world is filled with so much abuse these days, it's so frustrating
metromborg it's fucked up
I'm so sorry man hope your doing better now a days.
It is very likely that this is damage control, but maybe we should give them the benefit of the doubt. At least for now before they fuck up again
ASMR Victoria not to mention the fact that despite the dad being the main perpetrator, it's the mother doing all the talking and apologizing, indicating that he's not even willing to provide an in depth apology himself.
The "if I didn't know these people" part of the apology is the two totally ducking any responsibility for their actions. It's disgusting.
are u single
As someone that has been abused as a child and had to talk to people from CPS multiple times, I don't believe the apology. It unfortunately looks like a classic "Oh shit we got caught so now we have to pretend to take responsibility for our actions." I would like to hope this isn't the case, but having lived it and witnessed it, I highly doubt it.
TheSgp1987 These fuckstains will never stop unless their kids are taken from them. They'll lie and lie but the truth is the only thing they will ever be sorry for is that they got caught.
The only way they could take responsibility for what they did; is jail time.
Felt like they were reading a script to me. I thought i saw somewhere that they hired a PR company which would explain that.
Drachen596 It seemed like the mother was reading cue cards. The fades in and out certainly don't do them any favors either.
In the last month, Philip has had more backgrounds than thumbnail poses.
Dylan Lollar nah?
At least his neck pain seems to be clearing up.
Not saying much - it's Phil xD
please make a shirt that says "that defranco guy" PLEEEEEAAASEEEEE
his first tweet said "difranco" so i think it would be funnier if it said "that difranco guy"
shut up and take my money
I would buy it, and I'm not even subscribed. lol
Ernest Adrian omg yes
HAH! You obviously didn't see that sweater vest he was rockin. Insincere? Go fuck yourself!
Amen. These people are the very definition of lowlife.
cyborgdata wait... You're telling me that other people not only knew about this, but went "Hey, people are realizing you two are pieces of shit, so I'd start lying and denying you abuse children"????
Today in "why is this in my recommended" we have a 3-year-old Philly D video. Huh.
I almost feel left out. I've never been inconvenienced, let alone beaten up, by flight attendants.
GreenOnionBrother I giggled.
GreenOnionBrother
Probably because you are pretty and white you privileged Shitlord, lol.
trolling is lame
+Potential Rapist So people deserve to be mistreated? Just because crap is happening to a lot of airline passengers doesn't mean it's bad that some people aren't getting abused.
Kailee Walden sweetheart, it was a joke.
the worst part about the apology is the pink eye shadow the mom has.
I mean seriously, why pink though?
i quite like a pink eyeshadow but shes done it very wrong it goes up too close to her eyebrows and she isn't really attractive enough to pull it off
classic ham lady
McFlei yeah...
McFlei I thought I was the only one who noticed

Ghettoturtle 33 I must have been a happy little accident...
Phil, you and your team are heroes for bringing attention to this story. You've all made a difference and you should be very proud of yourselves.
I love how their outfits are like what they think a responsible parent would wear.
Ali Reeve lol
That's what it is! There was something creeping me out about that video and I think that was it.
Nina Greenshields I'm the same, I can't look at someone directly into their eyes because of how socially awkward I am.
Nina Greenshields I too am socially awkward and i tend not to make eye contact with people I'm not comfortable with or someone who i don't know well.
were any of you idiots actually diagnosed? I dont think so, ya'll are just pussies, good god...
Heather: I realize now that he have made some really bad parenting desicions
Me: The only bad parenting desicion you two have made is becoming parents in the first place
I would have gotten away with it, too, if it wasn't for that DeFranco guy!
Ruh oh Shaggy!

SCOOBY-DOO!!
You forgot meddling DeFranco guy! LOL
As an Asian American it is culturally inappropriate for me to make eye contact with people I don't know well.
According to a primarily white university that makes you racist.
Thomas Akeo Did you eat my cat Ling Ling?
I believe it's considered to be confrontational. And no matter how well you know them, you never do it with your boss.
Danya Wazwaz You clearly didnt understand his comment and the video
How awesome it is to start your day getting PHIL'd in! Amazing job Phil with DO5! You've just saved those poor kids from being used for selfish agenda of their parents.
I really love this show!
Creative North he's my daily those of hot issues
their inconsistencies really suck! specially the mom!
Creative North iI
Creative North Aside from apologizing, they should also thank Phil. It takes a Philip DeFranco to change people from being stupid to being a well-dressed stupid. 😆 😅 😂
why is this being recommended to me 4 years later
Seeing the apology video just makes me want to see the uncut version.
Dalamus Ulom I watched it. It's just like the last one but in this one all they did was dress up and try and make it genuine.
Karla Morales so you watched the full version?? How did you get that
They said they wanted to see the uncut part of the last one, not the one before that.
The one where they laugh at the script.
WeiYinChan I kept checking their channel every day and I saw that they posted the video. it was like 2 minutes long. They deleted the other videos and only had that one video on the dad's channel.
Is it just me, or when he said Bob Ross I imagined the painter? I hope not.
Renikara S A big afro and happy trees.
blox craft Maybe in our world, DaddyO5 won't be able to beat the devil out of anything.
Renikara S you're not alone my friend I also thought of the all mighty Bob of Ross.
Happy little accidents!
Sounds like someone talked to a lawyer or got a PR rep.
Bridgett Beardsley exactly what i was thinking the cuts make sense too
And the clothes seems too put together compared to the last time where the guy was just wearing a TShirt. She even did her hair
That's 100% what this is. Staged and scripted. Pair of disgusting, stupid creatures. Should be sterilised
redblackshirt - he is dressed like how a kid thinks adults dress. Short sleeve button-up w/ sweater vest (indoors? Huh).. And decided to keep his earrings in bc he's still an individual.
J.Mills - that was so funny haha
They also tried to make themselves look more 'clean and proper' but we can see right through their lies and BS
Oops just noticed haha
PSA: if you ever say "hit me! Come on hit me!" in an argument or a fight, you've lost
Evan O'Dwyer until you're able to sue the person who hit you...
But you allowed him to hit you, so that means you could get sued by that guy for possible defamation.
Done not if you were provoking them
then you lost the fight and just won a separate battle.
Evan O'Dwyer The largest reason for why he probably said that is if the passenger hits the attendant, the passenger has then committed a federal crime so he probably used that as a shitty last resort because he didn't know how to handle the situation
Imagine the "invisible ink prank" where the kid just says "I didn't do it, this is one of your stupid pranks, isn't it?"
It would be boring and nobody would care. They absolutely wanted their kid to cry and defend himself.
I think that is why they singled out their youngest, because he was more inclined to react, to scream and cry. They tortured that kid for TH-cam views
I don't even look my own family in the eye. It just makes me anxious. Has nothing to do with anyone's skin?
Lol, I'm not even white, how am I triggered if I'm a minority? You're trying too hard 😂
Bob Ross - "The incident was a happy little accident"
ItZoToM underrated comment
That got me good.
Any time a child abuser attempts to reconcile their actions, it always seems like damage control to me. However, it's not up to me to believe, and they don't need to make me believe it. The only people they owe an apology to is their children and only people they should be making apologies to is their children, especially Cody.
first off! i love the show, and have been a fan since high school (just graduated this may)
with that being said
you said "feeling uncomfortable" doesn't make you "right" or the "victim", but the complaint with the micro-agressions literally puts someone's comfort over someone else's identity. just because it's difficult to make eye-contact with someone of another race, doesn't mean you should be allowed to avoid it. i myself face anxiety, but anytime it disrupts communication I should be aware that it still hurts peoples feelings. whether or not the intention is to hurt someone, if they feel hurt, they feel hurt! in order to NOT be racist you must be able to acknowledge differences AND accept them, not ignore them. accepting the difference does not equate to conforming. "hyper-sensitive" is also a strong word i feel, but then again shouldn't we always be looking to communicate what we feel in the most effective way possible? what are y'alls thoughts on this view?
They don't seem genuine.... it makes my stomach upset. Hopefully everyone sees how shallow and scripted that apology was.
Drew Sneed agreed
No doubt their TH-cam channel is gonna crumble anyway because of how many failed attempts it took to acknowledge what they did and apologise. And to add onto that, we didn't even see them apologise to the children themselves. They may say one thing to us but still lie to the kids about how their treatment was justified or they'll just buy them a PS4 to shut up about it.
Its weird that they have so many edits
u are mad that daddy o five is better than you
Avonn King your a complete dumbass daddyofives channel is borderline child abuse and I'm glad Phil brought attention to this and helped fix there family
