I lost my father rather early and since discovering this song a few months later it never ceased to have an enormous impact on my life. It carries so much personal meaning and energy that it is hard to put it into words. For me, the song is about "wild" expression, untamed energy and growth, finding your own strength in the face of your personal history and your ancestors, choosing right over wrong.
You did this song justice, and your rendition did light up my Christmas day (my father died one day before Christmas). Thanks for that!

She definitely has a wonderful voice but the song is not this tone at all and missing the background vocals at times and African chants from time to time.
