A fond memory I have of GTA online from 2013 is when the regular tank was one of the most op vehicles and when someone whipped out a tank the entire lobby sometimes teamed up to take the tank out but because everyone was still a low level not that many people had an RPG so it was just a bunch of mid and low level players shooting at a tank and throwing grenade's Good times
The best was when we would put a 9000 dollar bounty on either me or one of my friends and then the person with the bounty would get in a tank everyone in the lobby would drive towards us until they saw the tank then they would immediately turn around and run away lol
I remember when just having 100k was a lot and getting your first house inviting friends inside to sit on the couch and smoke the bong was crazy. Everyone driving normal cars with barely any upgrades people with super cars were gods. Ah the good times.

Old gta was fun for me for 1 reason cause it was actually fun when I was a noob running around and not getting attacked then the money started coming in and all them weaponized vehicles and as time went on I started buying more and more till I got bored and left the game I’d give it all up just to be able to go back to old gta
Great video, one of your best creations yet. I like the fact that you try to highlight the good and bad things in the game for both now and then, unlike many people who only list either the positives or the negatives.
GTA Online was balanced until 2015 and really up until Gunrunners in 2017. When MKII weapons and the first *oppressor* were introduced. By 2017 the highest deterrence were still air superiority with jets. That could then be countered with the *explosive rifle* Once these highly mechanized and technological updates began, the civilized days of GTA were over. Criminal Enterprise tomorrow will hopefully return some semblance of nostalgia we had in between 2015 and ‘16 when the game was centered on the criminal lifestyle.
@@DemBlox if the missiles were at 20% accuracy, like the Jetpack, you can still hit NPCs, it’d just stop players from wasting them on other players, griefing. Besides, it’d save you on insurance if you’re worried about refunds. 👌

I remember grinding the hell out of contact mission playlists after they nerfed rooftop then they nerfed coveted and then they nerfed contact missions and then they nerfed basically everything to pay dirt aside from heists which they still haven’t rolled back from today. But imo the most balanced the game was, is Smugglers Run, the Hydra was ruining the game even worse than the opressor until…explosive bullets and a new series of jets specifically designed to fight other jets, then everything had a counter. Then the broomstick came out and its basically impossible to hit.
I remember when I was 13, and GTA Online was finally playable after a couple days of lag and server downtime, I ran into one of the gun shops and saw the minigun being purchasable at a high level. Everyone was complaining about pvp and making claims that people should play the game the right way and how it was suppose to be..""grinding and or players just getting along"". Tho I remember before we had freemode events added we use to have brinx trucks that would load into the game with rare beer hats and or Hella money. Now a days everyone can just about afford an oppressor or a deluxo. So it's not as bad. But that small time in gta was annoying

At least we can't be killed by any other player in passive mode unlike how it was implemented.
It is much easier to earn money nowadays, but the economy has also inflated. The most expensive car used to be like 1m, now you can't even buy and customize a car for less than 1.25m
