Infelizmente nosso querido Sabotage (Mauro Mateus dos Santos) morreu assassinado no dia 23 de janeiro de 2003 com 4 tiros. O assassino, que prefiro não dizer o nome, foi condenado a 14 anos de prisão. Me lembro muito bem do meu irmão e eu irmos até o Centro de Guarulhos em 2000 para comprarmos o cd do Sabotage - O rap é compromisso, passei por debaixo da catraca do ônibus e ele pela porta de trás pois só tínhamos o dinheiro para comprar o cd. Chegando em casa curtimos o som maravilhoso deste artista fantástico. Menos de três anos depois ele seria covardemente assassinado, mas deixou um legado incrível. Um gênio da rima e da poesia. He stayed away from the rap scene for a while because of his drug addiction that almost killed him (you can notice by the gap between his albuns), and now he is getting back recovered and with such great songs! (he has a song from his last one called "Carta para Amy", it means "letter for Amy", that says more about his addicction and about the time that he was on rehab)You should definitively hear more about him. TEve um show em tributo a SABOTAGE a alguns meses atrás , teve mais de 30 mil pessoas numa praca que foi construida em cima de algumas favelas que tinham aqui, por exemplo tem algumas musicas dele que ele fala dessas comunidades . fico muito feliz em saber que a musica dele chegou e vai chegar muitp longe ainda VIVA SABOTAGE. obrigado Mestre

(1973-2003) foi um rapper, compositor e ator brasileiro. Foi o personagem Fuinha do filme Carandiru.
Sabotage, nome artístico de Mauro Mateus dos Santos, nasceu na zona sul de São Paulo, no dia o3 de abril de 1973. Ainda jovem envolveu-se com o crime e o tráfico de drogas, na favela do Canão. Durante sua adolescência foi interno da antiga FEBEM. (Fundação Estadual para o Bem-Estar do Menor de São Paulo )
O gosto pela música surgiu desde pequeno, quando andava com um caderno para escrever suas músicas. Entre os anos de 1988 e 1989 se inscreveu em concursos de rap. Participando de shows do grupo RZO (Rapaziada Zona Oeste), e após a gravação de vários clipes, Sabotage começou a se destacar no mundo da música. Em 2000 Sabotage gravou seu primeiro e único álbum de estúdio, “Rap é Compromisso”.
Sabotage atuou em dois filmes, “O Invasor”, onde participou da trilha sonora com cinco músicas, serviu de consultor sobre a cultura da periferia e atuou como ele mesmo. No filme “Carandiru”, Sabotage interpretou o personagem “Fuinha” e gravou uma das músicas da trilha sonora. Em 2002 recebeu o prêmio Hutúz (prêmio do hip hop brasileiro) na categoria revelação.
No dia 24 de janeiro de 2003, Sabotage foi assassinado com quatro tiros pelas costas, apesar de sua família afirmar que Sabotage estava longe da bandidagem a mais de dez anos. O rapper deixou mulher e três filhos.

Black Alien is a genius! He stayed away from the rap scene for a while because of his drug addiction that almost killed him (you can notice by the gap between his albuns), and now he is getting back recovered and with such great songs! (he has a song from his last one called "Carta para Amy", it means "letter for Amy", that says more about his addicction and about the time that he was on rehab)You should definitively hear more about him. Besides this song that I mensioned, there's "Chuck Berry", he dropped not that long ago and It's great too. I'm loving your channel, not only about Brazilian productions. Keep doing this ❤️❤️

- About everyone agreeing on the police being corrupt, it greatly varies from state to state. I think it's safe to say every successful rapper in Brazil either comes from SP or Rio, which have the highest corrupt police forces in the country. As you go down to southern states it tends to be less like that, a lot less.

Speaking about Gustavo Black Alien, who featured in this song - that's his style speed flow and the guy is sick! He was part of the legendary Hard Core band Planet Hemp and then went on to a solo career, releasing in 2004 the album 'Babylon by Gus Vol. I - The Year Of The Monkey'. A classic! In 2019 he released his third album 'Abaixo de Zero - Hello Hell' which was highly awarded as Album of the year. Please react to ANY of his tracks, you won't regret it.
