- My review on the Sig Sauer P365 chambered in .380. Sig Sauer took their popular P365 and chambered it in .380 ACP and it shoots amazingly soft! Feel like a rimfire pistol! You still get ten rounds in this very small handgun, a removeable FCU (fire control unit), night sights and a nicely textured grip.

the nice thing about 380 is that you can stop an attacker easier because of the spot-on shot placement because the gun stays level to your point of aim because of the mild recoil, so rapid-fire shots will be tack drivers. I just love the hell out of my p365/380
It’s a balance for sure between shoot ability and stopping power
@@TiberiousGib the blessing is that you don't have to worry about target acquisition due to the low recoil and 4 or 5 rounds of 380 will surely ruin someone's day 😊 be safe and shoot straight!
Dropped my p365/380 into the xl frame with the 380 12rd mags ! Sweeeeeeet!
Got mine and put 125 rounds thru it, FMJ and various defense rounds. Zero malfunctions and shoots great!

I just got the p365-380 and I love it. I already have a p365xl and p365x in 9mm and use them for my edc. When I got the 380, I swapped my p365xl grip onto it because it's more comfortable to shoot, and I popped a Holosun 507k with the ACSS Vulcan dot on it. Took it out to the range, and it was only a few clicks left and adjusted it and ran great. I shot a box of 380 fmj and 380 jhp and they ran fine. The 380 is much softer shooting than the 9mm and I could rapid fire much easier while keeping it on target. I was out in the desert, and there was a guy shooting 9mm and 380 next to me, and he said he was having a hard time with his 380, I believe it was an LCP. I let him try my 380 and all of a sudden you could see his smile light up. He shot a magazine of fmj at a small log he spotted and literally destroyed it. I think he may have been converted... I now use the 380 for my edc, and swap with the 9mm sometimes...

P365XL handgun grip and be put on the 380?
@@GunsWithDrum69 you can swap the grip module from a p365xl onto a 380. Only problem will be that you can’t use the 10 rd mags. You have to use 12 rd 380 mags. I’ve also used the 9mm 12/15/17 9mm mags but they sometimes hang up because of the shorter length of 380 rounds.
I wanted to add i got it for summer carry. My xl printed with summer clothes. I will probably go back with the xl when the weather turns cool a again.

Had it a month and a half with optics about a thousand rounds through it runs well. He hit on the first hundred and had some trouble during that but long gone now. Love it every day carry.

I hope they make a P365 in 22lr with a 18 roundmag, and maybe a 30 super carry with a 14 shot flush fit mag, and 18 round extended mag...
That would be cool, that’s what I expected when I first heard about the P322
I grabbed the lcp 11 .22 with a 14 round mag extension. Pretty neat little 15 rounder.

I have had my sig 365 380 for about a month and no issues. I have shot 5 different brands of ammo and it ate them all. More recoil than i anticipated. Not sure why. Fairly accurate up to 7 yards. Need a little mote range time or check the zeroe. Nice video with good content. Thanks.

@@sirthomas5220 I’m sure they’re nearly same in recoil, racking. The differences are the EZ is bit longer and heavier not by much, and 2 rounds fewer and not optic ready. The EZ is nicer looking though.

@Frank Bonazza III The Gen 5 is out, and I used to carry one as an ankle BUG for three years, when that was authorized during part of my 20 year law enforcement career. It was interchangeable with the issued G-19. In retirement, I carry a customized G-34. I like magazine compatibility..

I’ll see if I can get my hands on the lcp max, not sure if anyone locally has one
The LCP Max has better recoil than the LCP II, but it's still hard to hit anything with. So far my Glock 42 is the best .380 I've shot, but really want to try this one. Nobody has it on rental yet, but I might just buy it anyway. I'd choose the Glock 42, then Sig p238 as the softest shooting .380's I've shot. This might be #1 after shooting it though.

Love the pistol, but the magazine is the most difficult magazine to load. I loaded a lot of different magazines, this is the first one I couldn't load without a magazine loader Even after 500 rounds! No wonder most testers load only 5 to 7 rounds!

The xl grip module fits it and they sell 12 round 380 mags for the xl grip. I converted mine to an x my favorite handgun to shoot at the range.

I recently went to my local range and shot the P365XL and the Glock 19 (gen. 5). While I was there, I noticed that they had a regular P365 9mm for sale and asked to take a closer look. While I liked almost everything about it, I quickly found that I could not rack the slide of the P365 no matter which method I used, despite being able to rack the XL and the G19 with relative ease (I can also rack a Ruger Security-9 without much trouble). Is the .380 version easy enough to rack to be worth considering, or should I just stick with the XL?
The 380 version is easier than the 9mm, hopefully you can get your hands on one
I don’t understand why sig would even offer a thumb safety option?
I think it’s a good idea, lots of folks won’t carry a striker pistol without a safety.

When you shot it with the Holosun 507K did you notice the ejected brass hitting the right side of the optic? It does on mine. I think moving the optic in front of the rear sight making it closer to the ejection port has something to do with it. I practice with painters' tape wrapped around the front to protect the glass and the right edge of the housing which has scratches on it. As long as you keep both eyes open when you shoot you can still see the dot and the target.

@@TiberiousGib It happened with Blazzer Brass, PMC Bronze FMJ's. I had someone watch while I shot 10 rounds and 4 hit the optic and the other 6 came really close. Nothing ejected up and out at 3 or 4 O'clock. Have about 500 rounds total thru it with FMJ's and had a few hang up on feed ramp with the 1st 50 rounds but it's been perfect with FMJ.s ever since. It doesn't like Ft Scott Munitions TUI kept jamming. Shot 30 rounds of Critical Defense with no trouble. It shoots very smooth. You have to remember it's a .380 with a narrow feed ramp. you have to find what it likes. Check out a channel called The Bacon Nation. He has a video on it with some good angles.

Hey bud i heard you can shoot 9mm out of the 380 can you confirm if that is the case? I guess only thing that changes is the magazine has a bumper on the 380 and not the 9mm
I do think so, not without changing the barrel.
The 9mm kinda accepts the 380 ammo but don’t mix up the barrels!
