    The 380 is smooth and shoots like a 22LR.

      find that hard to believe that the larger 380 shoots like a smaller 22LR with less than half the grain and less than half the gun powder

    Love my P365-380. It’s definitely what I carry when I have to deep conceal (professional environments) and I love how easy it is for follow up shots. I have the CZ P10C and the P365XL that I’ll use in winter months or where I’m not as worried about printing. Great video!

    I was in the market for a p365 in 9mm, having tried it when my wife was getting her pistol certification, but my LGS had one in 380 at a great price and i had bunch of ammo for it anyway since I also own a Beretta 85bb. My wife has arthritis and has no problem racking the 365s slide. Its now my conceal carry.

    Sig missed out with this one because the p365 9mm owners cannot buy a 380 slide and guide rod to interchange with their nines. Slight size differences in the slides.

    I've seen so many men impressed with the P365 .380. I'm talking guys that would probably pocket-carry and S&W 500 if Uncle Mike made a pocket holster for it. What impressed them was the fact that it was instantly right back on target after each round fired, due to the low recoil. I currently own three versions of the P365 and I was hoping that the .380 would work for my wife. While she could manage the slide, she had to work at it. It's noticeable lighter for me than the 9mm version, but still a little too much for her.

    what I have learned throughout the years is that guns and calibers are just like your daily clothes of choice for the event of the day! going to the beach? flip flops and shorts, going skiing? winter clothes and ski equipment. what I mean is 9mm in the summertime when people are wearing light clothes like t-shirts, a 9mm round will have a higher probability of a pass-through, so my choice would be a 380 pistol for summertime use. Now in the winter months when people are wearing heavy clothing, Now is where a 9mm or better comes into play. so people around the world just need to figure out what type of barriers they will be facing more than anything else, that should be their deciding factor of weapon and caliber choice. unless they have some form of disability or strength issues.

I need a few bricks to stick back in case that happens again, but yeah, 380 and 45 are my two favorites to shoot. But 380 is my favorite to carry. Theres nothing unmanly about it. 380 seems to be the sweet spot for the P365. I avoided ths gun because I do not like small snappy firearms. I considered purchasing a standard p365, adding a comp, and the Icarus frame; but that adds up quickly. Especially, since I can get what I want in a 365-380. No shame in John Wick’s game.

    Yesterday I shot my 380 conversion and the 9mm X macro comp (same ammo) . I gotta be honest. The X macro comp in 9mm was such a softer shooter that the difference in recoil is negligible so why not shoot the cheaper more powerful 9mm ? I don't agree that the 380 shoots like a 22.

      Bersas are great. I have a 380 cc that has been flawless, but the recoil impulse feels sharper than my 9mm p365 and it weighs almost the same while carrying two less of a smaller round. My Bersa is mechanically more accurate than my p365, and has a better trigger than the p365. It just has no sights and 380 is too expensive to practice with compared to 9mm.

    • @joep8787
      @joep8787 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have the regular Bersa Thunder. I bought it way before I bought the Sig p365. There's a big difference in weight and size, and I bet the weight difference would be even greater with the 15 round capacity. The Bersa is also longer than the P365 and much harder to pocket carry, which is my preferred method. I have the P365 in 360 which is even lighter than the 9mm version. So for me, it was a no brainer. The blow back design of the Bersa makes the recoil more apparent than the P365. That's probably why there are very few if any blowbacks in 9mm. The lower recoil makes it easier to do double taps.

    WOAH WOAH WOAH.. Can anyone else confirm that new (2023) P365-380's are shipping with the flat-face trigger (instead of the curved one)?? All the stock photos I see online (including Sig Sauer's) show it with the curved one.. If that's the case, then I just got the wrong firearm; I got the p365X because I prefer the flat trigger over the curved one and I'm not comfortable with the idea of a trigger swap/upgrade for my edc (even if it's done by a certified professional).

      I own the 380 & 365XL. It depends on the holster. The 9mm will not fit in a 380 holster IF it is actually molded for the 380 (2mm height difference). 380's will fit in 9mm holsters but fit can vary. Sig sells their 9mm holster for the 380 and says it fits with no issue (I emailed asking them about it). I have a T1-M for the 9mm and the 380 has a bit of shift due to the slide height difference. It is still very secure.

    4:12 " The barrel is bigger because it shots a bigger round" WRONG its the same caliber. I cant understand how somone couldnt recognize this even so he handle both guns and both rounds. The 9mm it thicker because it has much more pressure. The slides are alos not the same. The 9mm slide has more mass.

    I used to own a 9mm 365 and it was great until I tried to shoot it with any speed in defensive drills. Me and the gun just never got along. I had to go to the bigger Glock 26 to get any kind of effectiveness. But during my “training” I discovered the relative ease in which I could effectively run drills with my 22 TX Taurus. I attribute this to the lack of recoil and my limited grip strength. I plan on renting the 380 as the 365 makes a great pocket pistol! I’m very interested indeed in this gun. Thanks for the review.

    The 380 and 9 mm and the 357 magnum and the 38 are all the same size round. .355 The difference is the weight 380 is usually a Shorter 90g with a slightly smaller powder charge and shorter cartridge. The 9 mm is exact same diameter only taller usually a 125g with a taller cartridge and slightly larger powder charge but all in all the same size round. Different pressures and lengths. During the ammo crunch I used 38 special hollow points loaded them in 9 mm brass the only difference is the nose of the round is a soft hollow tip lead which may fall up under multiple use but these rounds function flawlessly through my P 80 and I would do it again no problem probably wouldn’t send him through my Glock though lol OL

    If the two pistols are the exact same size in dimensions with the exception of the 9 mm being a few ounces heavier, then its a no brainer the gun you want to save your life in a last resort fight to the death. the 9mm capacity is 12+1 the .380 acp is 10+1 so theres another teson to get the 9 mm. Frankly your making a bad choice buying the .380 acp. Why if the 9mm is the exact same size? They are both concealable . And what your doing is choosing a caliber of lower velocity lower energy lower capacity, lower stopping power. Even with the 9 mm you loose velocity in a smaller barrel. Remember winchester 115 grn silvertip was so much so of an under rated performer in the mami dade shoot out 1986 that Matix was shot 12 times and still fought and injured FBI agents before he finaly stopped. 12 " penetration became the FBI standard. The 9mm is a better stopper.

    .380 is the perfect CCW caliber. Enough to get the job done without over penetration. People who CC have to remember there’s an attorney attached to every round that comes out of the barrel, you’re not in warzone, you’ll most likely be in public with who knows what as a backdrop and you won’t have qualified immunity like the police.
