@@StanzFam You're the best for inviting him to show his talent in the kitchen! Excellent GOM trip! It was quite sporty out there. Glad you were successful in getting you Cobia. The boat looked like it just skated through that slop. I sure hope we get a good weather window the third week of February - I'll be down there for the week on a fishing vacation.
Great to see Jamaican Mike as always. Love your videos and the B&M reports great stuff. Nick I heard you say you were looking for someone to make the Nick Sticks for you and I thought of Mags Custom Rods. I know he has a similar product for ice fishing. He makes great rods. I have one of his Deermeat For Dinner rods and love it. He makes them Rob. Hope this helps. Tight lines
Jamaica 🇯🇲 Mike, you are an amazing chef. It is always a pleasure and an honor see you work your magic on the stove. Much respect to the ruffest/tuffest MON

Jamaican Mike has returned! I have missed this guy and his amazing culinary creations. I'm thinking y'all need to have a "Jamaican Mike's culinary corner" segment on some of these videos.
Ive had the honor to meet nick, sarah, mike, bean and many others at Bud n Marys. This is the love you feel there in person, if you get the chance ,go fish with them, visit the marina store and enjoy the area. You can even fish the head boat which is also a great time and best value in the keys.
Welcome back Mike nice to see you back cooking with Stan fan I love watching you cook you food always looks good I bet it taste really good and hi to Stan fan and family thanks for bringing Mike on again ❤❤❤
Great video Stanzfam! Pretty rough day on the water but still caught some beautiful fish. Always awesome to see Jamaican Mike cooking. Thanks for sharing!!!
Another great fishing adventure, that goliath was a pre historic looking creature,,,, always good to see the chef at his no 1 spot, the stanz kitchen,,,, thanks for another great video
Good video. I'm born and raise in Hollywood FL. We move to S Daytona a few years ago. We caught a big cobia last year and wile cleaning mate told me to save the belly meat and ribs. We put them on the grill and it was the best fish we ever had. Love your show keep on doing what you are doing. Thanks Jeff
@@StanzFam hey Nick I still watch but I'm Happy your getting more subs now....soon 500k because a lot of people show only footage of when they catch the fish 🐟 but they never show you how, but when they found out that you show them the whole process just watch how many subs you get this year
Awesome as always Nick. Wow, it is so great when the whole gang is together. Great times and incredible food with Mike and Charlie is around. Looks like a great time had by all. You and Sara have such wonderful friends and dinners. I sure wish i could join in. Take care🎉❤🎉
Love from the Chesapeake great video I can’t wait to come down to Florida to go fishing this year, last year was cape Canaveral this year I’m coming down to the keys
I missed your sword fishing trip Nick. Leave that for Pipo😂😂😂is good to see Mike again in action, he always does his thing the proper way. Tight lines Nick. Mike I did the escabeche recipe on some fried snappers and it was a home run. Thank you for sharing.
Love your videos Nick I heard you say that you were looking for someone to make the Nick Sticks. Mags Custom Rods has a similar product for ice fishing. He makes the Deermeat For Dinner rods for Rob. I have one and love it. First class rods. I'm sure you probably already thought of that though because I know fishing is your life. You probably know everyone one in the industry. But it's a thought. God bless you and your family 👍
Wow the drift looks good on the baby freeman. Sometimes a smaller cat the drift isn’t as good as a mono hull but doesn’t seem the case on the 28. Good to see.
My favorite spot in the Gulf - so many great memories - curious if you know - is it a freshwater spring down there? We have always wondered and heard so many different things.
Good thing youre in keys . In south carolina 150+ miles is our average trip to blue water. Come fish with us Nick, show us that propper swordfish skill.
Awesome catch clean and cook We met Mike 2 years ago what you see is what you get very friendly guy haven't met Nick yet but that time will come id like too send you and Mike my chow chow relish I make it every year is Bud and Mary's a good addy ?
Hello , Captain Nick , I was beginning to think that something happened to Jamaican Mike cause I haven't seen him in so long but I'm glad to see him and he's alright 💯 . Them sharks are pain in the necks but they're a part of nature and not everyday is a bowl of sweetness . EPIC VIDEO AS ALWAYS CAPT NICK .
I never got the truth from the weatherman. I would always second guess the long runs just for that reason, although he was always right about rough and windy. And your hat u sport is my favorite as well good luck Mustad team
We were fishing a cobia and grouper tournament out of hernando beach Florida , I stuck about a 45-50 lb cobia and it felt like I was fighting a grown man on the other end of the gaff
They are still around. Nothing bad to say about them. I wish them continued success. Mustad is a lot bigger company in the USA and has a ton more products to choose from. When the opportunity to work with them popped up I couldn’t turn it down. They pretty much have every niche in fishing covered and have a hook for everything.
@StanzFam I totally understand what you mean. The variety is always the way to go. I like VMC, but I'll start digging into mustad. Vik from Landshark Outdoors uses them as well. Thanks Nick, see ya on the next 1.
Love stanz fam, been watching your channel from the beginning. Would love to take a charter sometime. I live here in Florida, pal harbor area near Clearwater.
@Nick... You see a lot of people bleeding out their catch after catching the fish. More and more people lately prefer to bleed their catch. What is your thoughts on this? I know certain fish like tuna and wahoo I bleed, but not my bottom fish or other types. Look forward to your input on this topic. Vince Caruso - Palm Harbor, FL
I honestly can’t taste a difference but I know it looks cleaner when you fillet it and the meat is whiter/lighter color. I assume it helps long term too, but two fish side by side, one bled and one not, I really can’t taste a difference myself
Weatherman didn't lie ...They just don't know what the hell they are doing. One of the only jobs you can be wrong 90% of the time and still get paid for it. I swear with all the new tech. They seem to be wrong more now than previously.😂
So how many years will you run a boat before selling? Are you on a boat deal with freeman? Like in the bass world pros get a new boat on discount every year or 2 years and flip them
Sounds similar for sure. My first freeman I had 3.5 years but now I try to sell my bigger one around the two year mark (on the last few). Hoping to sell the 28 a little after a year and get a new one.
I think everybody should harvest a shark a day for a little while to get those numbers back in check. The boys just north of you wouldn’t mind some shark steaks I assure you. You get them Alabama Georgia Mississippi Tennessee boys they’ll take em ifin y’all don’t want em after harvest. I like to catch the Atlantic sharp nose, bonnet heads and black nose sharks when I’m down there and we keep our limit of em everyday. We always try to catch a blacktip, spinner, bull or something along those lines for a day or two during the trip as well.
My favorite cooking sessions are always with Jamaican Mike
He’s the best!
100% agree even though I'm Jamaican myself
