For many years i have seen this lady on the Gaither videos. I never heard her sing or knew her name but I was always curious about her. Finally today i ran across some of her work and I am amazed. She was so gifted, and blessed by God . As of now I am A big fan of Naomi Sego Reader. RIP Great lady.
She has been a favorite of mine for many years
I saw Sego Brother's and Noami back in the 60's when I was a child , I believe i was around 10 years old. We had a packed church. I went to this church as a small child. The spirit of God was in this church back then. These people could really sing Noami broke down and cried during the singing and made a comment saying "they had sang in a lot of different churches but they had never felt the Holy Spirit so strong". GOD IS SO GOOD, AND I FELT IT TOO AS A YOUNG CHILD. These people were very down to earth. People were standing outside, the church was packed to capacity.They were full of the spirit when they sang. YOU DON'T SEE THAT VERY OFTEN ANYMORE. THE PREACHER AT THE TIME WAS REVEREND ROBERT HAGLER. HE WAS A GREAT MAN OF GOD AND MANY TIMES AS A CHILD I COULD FEEL GOD'S SPIRIT AS WELL. THE BIBLE SAIDS TO SEEK GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART AND YOU SHALL FIND HIM. THIS IS 2022 AND I FEEL WE ARE CLOSE TO GOD"S RETURN. THE UNITED STATES HAS BECOME LIKE SODOM AND GOMMORAH, AND GOD DESTROYED THEM BY FIRE AND BRIMSTONE AND ONLY A FEW CHRISTIAN PEOPLE ESCAPED. I AM AFRAID THAT GOD IS VERY DISPLEASED WITH THE WORLD. GOD IS A GOD OF LOVE OUR TEMPORARY MINDS CANNOT CONCEIVED THIS . EVEN THOUGH GOD LOVES US VERY MUCH, HE IS COMING WITH WRATH TO PEOPLE THAT HAVE FORGOT HIM AND PEOPLE THAT DOES NOT EVEN KNOW HIM. THE WORD OF GOD IS GOD SPEAKING TO US, IN ORDER TO HAVE A RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD WE HAVE TO ASK JESUS CHRIST UNTO OUR HEARTS, HUMBLE OURSELFS AS A LITTLE CHILD. THERE IS NO OTHER WAY TO GOD. HE IS OUR ONLY WAY. PEOPLE DONOT REALIZE HOW MUCH GOD LOVES US. HE WENT TO THE CROSS WILLINGLY SO WE CAN LIVE FOREVER WITH HIM FOR ALL ETERNITY. A HUMAN BEING IS NEVER SATISFIED UNTIL YOU COME TO HIM. MONEY CANNOT BUY HAPPINESS,FAME, OR ANYTHING ELSE THIS WORLD OFFERS. THE BIBLE SAIDS JESUS CHRIST IS " THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE. A HUMAN BEING WAS MADE IN THE IMAGE OF GOD AND THERE IS A VOID ONLY HE CAN FILL. TIME IS RUNNING OUT. WE ARE SAVED BY GRACE AND FAITH IN GOD,,NOTHING WE DO SAVES US. ONLY GOD CAN. THE BIBLE SAIDS" WHOM THE SON SETS FREE IS FREE INDEED." COME to CHRIST TODAY DON'T PUT IT OFF. TOMORROW MAY NEVER COME FOR YOU. GOD WILL GIVE YOU THE STRENGTH TO LIVE FOR HIM. THERE IS NO GREATER JOY OR PEACE THEN TO WALK DAILY WITH THE ONE WHO GAVE YOU LIFE AND EVERY BREATH YOU TAKE. CALL.ON HIM HE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN., AND HE GIVES US A FREEWILL TO ACCEPT HIM OR REJECT HIM.

My late brother in law Pete Pitts (Bottom left corner) was her pianist for a number of years. Naomi was one of the most graceful women I have ever known. She is truly missed. To think she and Pete are singing in glory today.
