As a korean who has learnt japanese in the past, i would say he had some of the best pronounciation for those who have no clue how to pronounce these words. I was actually quite impressed.
Artur Souza plays for the team I support in Brazil, he scored a Hat trick recently in Brazil's most important youth cup semifinal, after that he scored in his debut for the senior squad! I think he can be a european level striker in the future for sure!
video idea: try the same challenge with the national teams (euro, copa america, afc asian cup, africa cup of nations and concacaf golden cup), and finally the world cup with the national team of your choice
I have a feeling that trying to do a pentagon challenge with national teams would be a LOT harder than doing the challenge at the club level. At least at the club level you have more ability to bring in players and build your team. You can't do that anywhere near as well at the national level.
I admit I was worried there might be some save scumming behind the scenes after the first video to make sure the series goes in the right direction but this video totally proves me wrong. Love the series!
Great to see you repping the Korean league. I actually live in Korea literally around the corner from Ansan's beautiful 35,000 seater WA stadium. Unfortunately they only get 200 fans each match as their the second worst team in all of Korea's perfessional leagues haha. But their badge is cool 😉
Really loving the series! When you go to South America, maybe try Independiente de Avellaneda for the Libertadores. They have the record for most cups won, but the last time they won it was in 1984 and currently they are in a huge crisis, going to the second division in 2013, and barely avoiding going to second division again past year. It would be very interesting to see you give the team its former glory again!
If I had to guess, Tom's going to be targeting the Americas next, either North or South. Meaning he either has to go through American and Mexican giants to win the Champions Cup, or going through Brazilian and Argentinian giants to win the Copa Libertadores. Neither of which will be easy, but with his Continental C License, he basically has the Americas as his oyster... if they take him seriously, that is.
Hey Tom! Just wondering how the Saint Etienne let's play is going over on your second channel, I love the series and it's been a bit since the last upload, though of course this is probably taking up most of your time. Thank you for the great content as always, though! Cheers
I used to play over a thousand hours every year from the CM until FM21. I got FM22, but never really played it and FM23 was the very first one that I skipped. This series is tempting me to start playing again and just find the hours somewhere again 😁
Great series! I've always liked watching FM gameplays and seriesm and this one is being one of the best!! Looking forward to see which club you'll be joining to win the Libertadores, try joining Vasco da Gama, it's a huge club with plenty of history.
Imagine that National C course. A 16-year old straight out of school, a dad who's been roped into managing his kid's Sunday league team, and you with your African Champions League winners medal 😂
I started this idea when I was about 14 - Never finished it 😂 I started in Div. 2 with Chungju Hummel. Cleared with club of rot & signed 2 forwards with 50 odd goals between them - Choi something something & Park Young-Duk
Love this series! For another challenge series, I've always been down with the San Marino challenge :P could make it a build a nation challenge - but I am loving this one too!
My eyes wide open when I see my country's club Yangon United is in AFC CL. The way you scored seven nil in both legs made me laugh 😂 Love it tom! Looking for next video
my japanese 3rd division club sorted me out nicely in my first season, two coaching badges, went unbeaten and got promoted and now off to morocco to save a team from relegation
insert pinoy pride JK its cool to see someone rocking a PFL club's jersey by an FM TH-camr. The local league right now needs a lot of exposure and hopefully it continues to grow and be a force in SEA
If you move to concacaf , your best bet would be a canadian team that plays in mls. Higher budget than cpl sides, and you participate in the canadian championship where the winner gets qualified to the chanpions cup
I played as this South Korean team for my pentagon save. They were my first club & got them promoted to 1st division & kept them in the league for 2nd season before moving to turkey 1st division
Before going to Concacaf I would try SOuth American clubs first, it’s a tougher job, but after that you could apply for top tier Mexican or MLS teams and have a significant advantage, if you go to teams like Mazatlan, you’re gonna have a very hard time
To add to my point, in South America you could realistically win the Libertadores with teams from Chile, Colombia, Uruguay, Argentina, and Brazil; in Concacaf is either a top 5 team in Mexico or the outright best in MLS.
@felixzwei6145 Such as Boca, who aren't even in the Libertadores this year and are deep in a crisis that will probably last a while? Or River, who just sold De La Cruz to another contender in Flamengo?
@@yuriddp43 If this was about real football you’re 100%. In FM I think the two top Argentinian clubs, Nacional (URU), Atlético Nacional (COL), Peñarol (URU), Colo Colo (CHI). And maybe some other clubs can have the decent enough reputation and finances to make a push and try to compete.
Man i was surprised you're wearing the Stallion FC kit. Also you forgot to say that the owners conceptualized the logo because of the logo of the beer they are drinking here in the Philippines which is called "Red horse"
Shame you weren’t able to manage Buriram, I’ve been to watch one of their games at their stadium, “Thunder Castle” and they are one of the 2 best teams in Thailand. Newin is pronounced Nevin :)
Was always interested to do this, but how do you get your system to run such a game. When i tried it many years back, the wait time for the game to run even a few days would take hours. Did you have any such problem? If you didnt, how?
Day 2 asking: For the CONCACAF Champions League, try to be the manager of Santos Laguna from Mexico, they have never won it and 12 years ago they lost 2 finals in a row I hope you get the job😅 Greetings from Mexico!
Again, please, when you finally take a job in a South American club for this challenge, please consider doing it with Gimnasia La Plata of Argentina. It would really mean a lot, and I'm sure I can convince some of my friends to check out your channel, which they normally wouldn't do because football video games is not really something they watch on TH-cam, but being big fans of Gimnasia La Plata themselves, I'm sure I can convince them to check it out.
How do you put out content this fast? In my current save I'm about 29 hours in and still in season 1... Do you use instant result and just play the important matches yourself?
another banger of a video from Tom 👏🏿👏🏽👏🏾👏🏼👏🏻

Tom has made it :)

It's a tradition in Japan. The Emepror Cup final are played in New Years Day traditiolinaly.
Interesting, I've learnt something new!
Nothing but respect for you not shying away from trying to pronounce names which are likely very unfamiliar to you 👏 Loving this series!
As a korean who has learnt japanese in the past, i would say he had some of the best pronounciation for those who have no clue how to pronounce these words. I was actually quite impressed.
He bottled all brazilian names tbh but it was a good effort haha
This makes a pleasant change from the usual "You pronounced Smith wrong" comments I get 😂
I really like this series, I like the continuity and the quest-like aspect !! 🎉👍
Glad you enjoy it, thank you!
the audacity of trying to get the Chivas job without any badges
I mean he IS an african champions league winner!
Exactly, that's got to count for something!!!
I saw that when I was looking up the club! Amazing achievement for them to get there, but the step up in quality is crazy!
He DID win CAF Champions League!

I thought the same but now I’m just sure I did the same challenge it took me 3 tries in just Japan
We got lucky in Africa with the jobs! No point in save scumming, makes for a far less interesting story.
He's gotta be save scumming, and probably using the in-game editor as well
This second video looked even more sus, tbh. Save-scumming for easier cup draws, getting those wins on away goals... it's iffy.
