Wow! I have been a drummer for a little over 20 years and I have seen many drum line events and drum corps but HOLY COW I have never seen anything like that! Very Impressed!
to all the people who hate on this video let me explane something. there are 2 kinds of drumlines, there is a thing called a corp style line, such as Phantom Regiment or the Blue Devils. for corp style lines the objective is to play extremly choppy beats very clean (my personal favorite) then there are things called Show lines. This is an example of a show line. theres more of a visual and groove aspect to it than playing clean. this is the show line equivilant of clean thank you.
I never really enjoyed any kind of music like this. But theres something about the sound of drums that speaks to me in a way i cant quite describe. Its a bonus its extremely discplined drummers also
I think alot of you are missing the point of a drumline...they're entertaining and thats whats important. It's not about how difficult or easy it is to do the fact is the crowd love iT!!!! F***ing incredible stuff!!!
this has some good playing. the fighting reminded me of blast! (by the way, "Drumline" was modeled after my drumline North Carolina A&T, not these guys. the movie portrays us really badly, though.)
grabe talaga!!!!!!!!!!!!! buti na lang bago ko to see here in youtube i see na in cd'z kazi im in a drum and lyre also pero talunan not to be compared to them go guyz!!11forever na galing nyo hope ganyan rin ako!!!no.fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Hahaha...mate, I drum since 10 years, its kind of a tradition here in Basel; and belive me. Its not that simple. Me and my brother tried to do this staff and did't even get close to it! Even though one of the TSDC showed us, how excactly their doin it...
The timing is exellent. it kills me keeping 12 snares together; we had enough trouble with four. even more exellent for only doing it part time and working together that well.
I've seen this corp before, but they were a lot dirtier that this. This was very very nice. Lot cleaner and a lot more technical. It reeks of awesomeness
that's amazing!! yeah some parts were a little fuzzy around the edges but with all that shit they were doin and with 12 snares... that is really amazing. thanks for sharing that cause otherwise i would have never seen that awesome line!!
Wow i want to join the Royal Canadian Army Cadets and i was actually thinking of joining the band too and maybe play snare even though i play clarinet but gees those guys are great.
you can tell them apart cause show lines dont have quads normaly, and have marching single toms, and the snares are normally tuned lower than the high sharp sounds of corp lines
This is actually Tattoo drumming (Not to gravedig). It is where drum corps got it's roots... I knew a guy on this line. Ridiculous amount of skill on this line.
^^Co-Sign. I can understand the competitive spirit, but some of these guys should understand the nature of this group, which are some fellas who just want to come together to have some fun. What could be more thrilling than that, other than getting paid to do so. DAMN!! Where's that job!!
The snares lost the accelerando to the Fuzz Monster, but it was a pretty high demand part for having that many of them. Nevertheless, they need to work on that part a lot before they perform for the public again.
The oldest video in my favorites. Still makes me goosebumps :)
Yup! So this is where the movie Drumline got their moves. They're so awesome!
I'm black and from New Orleans. I have to say these guys are BAD ASS. Much props to them, they will give anyone a run for there money. Triple stars.

This must be the heaven where band geeks go when they die...

i loved when you did the wave with your drums [my favorite part] 5 stars
i have to agree on the sword fight! that was AWEOME!!! friggen amazing. and some of these people being business men...dang.
Yeah, I agree with Dragon. It's hella hard to get 12 snares clean. They did a good job bein' that clean. Definately nice on the visuals.
great snare work and hand motions!
holy crap that was freakishly amazing! superb drumline there no doubt.
That was pretty damn neat. I would love to see them live if I ever get the chance to travel to Switzerland, I hope to. :) Thank you for the video.
*jaw drops to floor* holy crap! i wanna see them live!

Man...what talent!
awesome artistic work! sensational teamwork!fantastic!amazing!greetings from winterthur
I know a few hbcu bands that would be as surprised as I was...to quote my daughter "this was the most awesomest thing ever in the world"
this was the greatest thing ever!!!!!
it's a double snare, extremely tight and muted, gives it a nice "snap" as opposed to a "bang"
Wow!!! Thats a real drumline!!!
that was great. I wish everyone could see this.
The music might not have been that hard, but I thought it was amazing and very entertaning to watch.
DAMNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN! They are AMAZING! I usually have something much wittier to say but what's to say... THEY ROCK!
Wow i want to join the Royal Canadian Army Cadets and i was actually thinking of joining the band too and maybe play snare even though i play clarinet but gees those guys are great.
They are that good they played the Edinburgh Tattoo twice. Enough said brilliant.
Dude That Was Badass!!!
I don't think the audience knows what a good drumline is... they deserve a much MUCH better encore than that...
Superb performance! Wow!
Simply Fantastic!!
you can tell them apart cause show lines dont have quads normaly, and have marching single toms, and the snares are normally tuned lower than the high sharp sounds of corp lines

mad skills.
hahaha at 2:35 the audience tries to clap in time and it gets so fast they just kinda die off hahahaha
More than likely, they have extra sticks on their drums. Most lines I've seen tend to do that.
what a good video. I wonder why they need to keep this a secret?
first of all they do have tenor drums its just on there chest like a bass drum like the college band wear theres like famu and bcc
I liked that! I've never seen such high tech robots. Who wrote the program for that?
wow:| that is amazing:|
Awsome Gold wicked, & funny
