Have to agree, it's a beautiful place, you captured it well, nice footage and drone footage, it does like nice when it ripples like water, bet you've got great memories playing in the fields growing up, all the best 👍
I LOVE when it looks like waves on the water! Sometimes I have to pull my car over to the side of the road and just sit and watch for a bit. It's mesmerizing!
I was raised in BC and its beautiful for sure, but I moved to Calgary in 1978, and used to ride my bike out east of town to the prairies because I didnt know anyone yet. I fell in love with the scenery. I would spend entire days just riding the dirt roads and marveling at the beauty. Theres just a certain romance in the quiet and sometimes lonely feeling of flat landscapes. It inspired me to paint. A quote from Farley Mowat always comes to mind..."A place you can stand on a mole hill and see a million miles" Thanks for this!

@@DowntheWrabbitHole For my birthday a few years back my brother bought me a hotel room for two nights in Banff. It was a nice gesture, but I had plans. My friend was overseas and told me to feel free to camp on his acreage. Its a five acre piece in Saskatchewan with a duckpond and small stream all secluded, not near any town. Hawks, ducks, coyotes and the stars at night. Well, I conceded and went to Banff with my bro and family as to not seem ungrateful for their gift. They could sense that I didnt really want to be there. So we talked and I said, I wish you would have just listened to me. I had plans to go to a place I wanted to go to but you kind of guilted me into coming to Banff. My bro said Mark, youre in Banff! Youd rather be sitting on a duckpond in Saskatchewan? What a beautiful farm such great drone footage the area looks so fantastic :) the wheat fields look amaxing the ripple effect wow. thank you for sharing it with us :)
Rural Alberta is most certainly one of the prettiest places I have visited in my life. The contrast between the green fields and the blue skyes are mesmerising. Also, the one thing that I remember the most its how beautiful the clouds look, like big fluffy cotton candy 🤷♂️
I think I'm getting better at flying the drone. Still a little choppy and I adjust too much, which is why my drone clips are so short. But I'm learning!!

Thank you! I was a little disappointed that the flax field didn't look better from above. When you see it at ground level it looks like a sea of blue flowers! But from above it didn't look as pretty! Oh well!
It is very quiet out at the farm. You can hear birds chirping, crickets and grasshoppers chirping, and other nice nature sounds but that's about it. Occasionally a big truck crunching down the gravel roads. :)
I lived in the prairies, and fell im love. I actually started a clothing brand, Prairie Lifestyle Company because of the prairies. This is in Canada, but we are very very similar to the plains area in the USA. Hello! Welcome to my channel! :) So lovely to meet you!
@@DowntheWrabbitHole thnks for ur gratitude 🙏🙏🙏
I lived a good portion of my life in a "Prairie Town" and agree with all these comments 1,000 Percent. Anybody who wants to see the prairies off the beaten path should go on a trip down the Red Coat Trail or explore grid roads in the Special Areas.
I'm going to check out this Red Coat Trail you speak of! Sounds fun! :) Thanks for the tip!
Im from PUSA.
Thanks for stopping by! I'm glad we connected! :)
:-)
Thanks for watching Charles! We missed you at the last stream and ended up with a tie! :)
