Johnny Gaudreau and Kyle Okposo are to stars (kinda-star in Okposos case) that could be on the list. Buffalo has a few others in Ilya Lyubushkin and Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen. Mark Scheifele isn't that hard once you do it once or twice, but the first time it can be a tongue twister.

It's a problem, then you've got a letter or sound that you don't have in your language.
For russians a common problem is 'th'. If you are Smith, most people will call your name as 'smiT', some of them will try to replicate a 'th' sound and call you 'smiF', and some will try and won't sussed by 'smiS':)
For Svechnikov, you can try to start with word 'switch'. Like Switchnikov. Then try to replace 'w' with 'v' and 'i' with 'e', like in 'vector'.
If that didn't work.. well, you can always call him Candlemakerov:)
