  • What can I say, finally! An amazing book for those who are feeling lost in this world or finally understood, that maybe there is something in us that needs more attention than we previously thought.

I really enjoyed this book. It is very important to think and talk about our emotions, and it is a great place to start.

I really had to come and say something about this book. Of course there are lessons to learn from this book and it does make you think. BUT, I feel he makes very broad generalizations that leave you rolling your eyes. Maybe his presentation has something to be desired. The chapter on educating your partner sounds very patronizing. We are not our partner's teacher. Yes, there are childhood issues to deal with but it's not OUR job as a partner to fix them. That would only bring resentment to a relationship. The key to a relationship is communication, honesty, compassion, and sharing. I'm really having difficulty reading this book and accepting his rhetoric. But, if you are a critical reader, yes, there is something to take away.

A lot of eye rolling going on here going through the chapters on relationships, arguments and sex. Some parts don't even address the heading given. He seems to give the impression that sex solves a lot of relationship problems. His views on affairs are way off the mark. Is he just making up this stuff? There is no connection to any scientific studies to support his bias views. He also generalizes and describes people as histrionic and a lot of his advice for the partner is to deal with a partner with a patronizing tone. I can't wait to get through this book and throw it in the trash.
